This study aims to analyze the effect of return on asset (ROA), current ratio (CR), and company size on the value of companies in the metal and similar industrial sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021-2022 period. The research was motivated by the need to understand how financial indicators and company characteristics influence the overall market value of companies in this particular industry. The hypothesis of the study was formulated based on theoretical frameworks and previous empirical research findings. To conduct this study, a purposive sampling method was employed, which involved selecting companies based on certain predetermined criteria. A total of 58 companies from the metal and related sectors were included in the sample. Data for the study was gathered from annual financial reports and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that company size does not have a significant effect on the company value, suggesting that factors such as financial performance may be more crucial in determining value than the size of the company itself. However, the study found that both return on assets (ROA) and current ratio (CR) have a significant positive impact on company value. These findings emphasize the importance of efficient asset management and liquidity in increasing a company’s market value. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the financial factors that influence the value of companies in the metal and industrial sectors and provides insights for investors and management.

Activities that have tasks and functions according to their provisions require fixed assets, which are an important component in supporting their operations. Indonesia uses Government Accounting Standard Statement (PSAP) Number 07 on fixed asset accounting as the asset treatment system. Every government agency that reports on its accounting treatment, including recognition, valuation, presentation, and disclosure, must use this standard statement. In addition, as a task support unit for the Tarakan City Tourism Office, the Tourism Office also provides financial reports. The purpose of this study is to determine whether this office has presented financial statements in accordance with PSAP No. 07. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the asset components of PSAP No. 07, namely asset classification, recognition, measurement, valuation, expenditure, depreciation, termination and disposal, and disclosure have met the principles of PSAP No. 07 on fixed asset accounting.

The implication of this study for investors is that they can use ROA as the main indicator in analyzing potential opportunities to gain profit from capital gains from stock returns before making investment decisions. The implication for management is to focus on strategies to optimize the use of assets to generate greater profits. Islamic insurance is one of the Islamic financial instruments designed to provide financial protection based on sharia principles, such as mutual help (ta'awun) and risk-sharing. As a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia has great potential to develop this industry. Over the past five years (2018-2022), the sharia insurance industry in Indonesia has shown consistent growth, reflected in an increase in gross contribution from IDR 12 trillion in 2018 to IDR 16 trillion in 2022. However, the market share of Islamic insurance remains small compared to conventional insurance, with key challenges including limited market scale, lack of product innovation, low public literacy in Islamic finance, and intense competition with conventional products. This article aims to analyze these challenges and formulate development strategies that can be implemented to strengthen the competitiveness of Islamic insurance in the global market. This research uses a qualitative approach based on secondary data analysis obtained from industry reports, scientific journals, and official publications. The results show that the main strategies for development include product innovation oriented to the needs of the global community, digitization of services to improve efficiency and accessibility, public education to increase Islamic financial literacy, strengthening regulations to create a conducive business environment, and strategic collaboration with international financial institutions to expand market networks.

Taxes play an important role in the economy as a source of state revenue that is used to fund various development programs. However, the practice of tax avoidance is often a challenge that is detrimental to the potential of state revenue and is the main issue in tax management. Researchers compiled this scientific article with the aim of exploring the link between transfer pricing and financial difficulties in influencing tax avoidance practices. The method used is literature study by analyzing various journals, books and relevant research reports through online platforms such as Google Scholar and Publish or Perish. The data was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach to identify patterns and understand the implications of the relationship between the variables studied. The results of the research findings suggest that the relationship between transfer prices and financial hardship to tax avoidance is inconsistent with mixed results. Some analyses showed a significant association, while others found no strong association. These findings indicate that the influence is situational and dependent on the characteristics of the company, thus expanding the understanding of the factors that affect tax avoidance and serving as a basis for further research.

This study aims to analyze how internal control and ownership structure influence the quality of consolidated financial statements in public companies in Indonesia. The research adopts a literature review approach to analyze the impact of internal control and ownership structure on the quality of consolidated financial statements in public companies. Data was obtained through relevant secondary literature, such as academic papers, books, and research reports related to the impact of ownership structure changes on the consolidated financial statements of companies in Indonesia. The researcher conducted a literature search through online databases, such as Google Scholar, using relevant keywords and only considering trustworthy and relevant findings. The researcher also expanded the review by considering various perspectives to gain a more comprehensive understanding. The results of the study are divided into several main sections, including the quality of financial statements, consolidated financial statements, and the impact of internal control and ownership structure on public companies. The study concludes that strong internal control has a significant positive impact on the quality of consolidated financial statements, acting as a mechanism to prevent fraud and maintain the integrity of financial data. Strict controls improve compliance with accounting standards, making the reports more transparent and reliable. In addition, institutional ownership has been proven to have a significant positive impact on the quality of financial statements, as it encourages transparency and external oversight. However, managerial ownership does not show a significant impact, indicating that the incentives from managerial stock ownership are not strong enough to influence the improvement of financial statement quality.

This study aims to analyze the effect of audit materiality, compliance with audit standards (SA), and material misstatements on sustainability performance and audit opinion, with the principle of fairness as a moderating variable in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange ( IDX) for the 2019-2023 period. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach, using secondary data in the form of financial reports, sustainability reports, and independent audit reports. The results showed that compliance with audit standards has a significant effect on sustainability performance and audit opinion, while audit materiality and material misstatement do not have a significant effect directly on these two variables. In addition, the principle of fairness as a moderating variable does not strengthen the relationship between sustainability performance and audit opinion. These findings suggest that mining companies need to improve transparency and compliance with audit standards to support sustainability and obtain better audit opinions. This research provides a theoretical contribution to the study of sustainability accounting as well as practical guidance for auditors and company management in improving the quality of financial reporting and sustainability.
