Vocational high school graduates are expected to master not only technical competencies but also interpersonal skills that support their readiness for the workplace. Field observations at SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung indicate that students in the Online Business and Retail (Bisnis Daring dan Ritel) program still show a low level of assertive communication, evidenced by their difficulty in expressing opinions confidently, refusing requests politely, and handling direct interaction with customers. This community service program (Program Kemitraan Masyarakat/PKM) was designed to develop students' assertive communication skills through the role-play method. The program consists of five stages: needs analysis, development of training materials and role-play scenarios, training and practice, evaluation and feedback, and continued mentoring. Students are placed in simulated roles such as seller, buyer, and observer in scenarios involving customer service, complaint handling, price negotiation, and teamwork. The information-dissemination approach combines material delivery, discussion, hands-on practice, and technical guidance. The program is expected to increase students' understanding of assertive communication concepts, strengthen their interpersonal communication skills, and provide an applied learning experience relevant to the demands of the retail and customer-service industry. The expected output of this activity is a scientific article published in a nationally accredited (Sinta) journal.

The rapid development in the field of information and communication technology currently requires students to master Microsoft Word. This skill becomes a crucial asset, both to support academic activities and as early preparation before entering the workforce. One of the applications frequently used in document preparation is Microsoft Word. Observation data at SMK Ibrahiny 1 Sukorejo indicate that the utilization of Microsoft Word features by some students is not yet optimal. This is evident in the students' limitations in configuring layouts, margins, as well as creating headers and footers in documents. In order to achieve efficiency and speed in the creation of administrative documents, this training is focused on enhancing students' competencies in exploring the features of Microsoft Word. This training was conducted on June 1, 2026, in the computer lab of SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo, involving 15 students from the 10th grade forestry department as participants. The method used during the training included the delivery of basic material followed by direct practice and the use of a system roll method on each computer to identify obstacles or challenges in preparing administrative documents, as well as direct assistance to students to quickly resolve any issues and ensure no one misses the material. The purpose of this training is to improve efficiency in properly and accurately preparing administrative documents. Therefore, the organization of Microsoft Word training can be categorized as a strategic step in boosting the digital skills of the students.

Dredger operations in water-based mining areas have a high occupational risk because they involve a combination of wet environments, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems. The presence of electrical panels, power cables, terminal connections, electric motors, inverters/drives, and protection components on the Dredger requires a sound understanding of Occupational Health and Safety, particularly electrical safety. Water splashes, wet walking surfaces, high humidity, and improper procedures during inspection or cleaning may increase the risk of short circuits, protection trips, and electric shock. Therefore, structured basic safety training is required so that operators are able to identify electrical hazards and implement safe working procedures. This activity aimed to improve operators’ understanding of hazardous electrical components, initial safety briefing procedures, measurement practice and safe handling during trips or short-circuit indications, and the correct and safe use of water pumps for unit cleaning. The activity was carried out through field observation, technical briefing, direct demonstration on the electrical panel and work area, simple measurement practice, and safe cleaning practice. The results indicate that field documentation can serve as an effective learning medium to strengthen operators’ understanding of electrical hazard sources on the Dredger, the application of simple lock out-tag out procedures, the control of wet areas, and the limitation of water spray direction during cleaning activities. Overall, the activity shows that improved compliance with safety procedures may reduce the risk of short circuits and electric shock during operation and maintenance.

Student cooperatives in Islamic boarding schools are no longer merely understood as business units providing daily necessities, but have developed into socio-economic spaces that shape independence, trust, and Islamic entrepreneurship education among students. This study is motivated by the limited number of studies examining pesantren cooperatives as socio-religious processes that cultivate values of trustworthiness, responsibility, transparency, and cooperation in students’ daily lives. The study aims to explain the empirical practices of student involvement in cooperative management, the social relations formed through economic activities in pesantren, and their implications for Islamic entrepreneurship education and the strengthening of pesantren economic independence. This research employed a qualitative approach with a field study method conducted at Pondok Pesantren Modern Elfira 2 Purwokerto. Data were collected through observation, interviews with cooperative administrators and student managers, and documentation of financial reports and cooperative operational activities. The findings reveal that students are directly involved in managing goods inventory, customer service, digital financial recording, and the distribution of daily necessities within the pesantren environment. These practices foster values of trustworthiness, transparency, responsibility, and cooperation through supervision systems, work shift arrangements, and daily evaluations. In addition to strengthening the pesantren’s economy, the cooperative also functions as a medium for experiential Islamic entrepreneurship learning. This article contributes to the sociology of Islamic education by demonstrating that student cooperatives function as socio-economic laboratories that shape students’ independence, social trust, and Islamic entrepreneurial ethics within the everyday life of pesantren communities.

Management psychology is an important approach in managing educational organizations, as it emphasizes understanding individual behavior, motivation, and patterns of interaction within an institution. In practice, educational management requires not only managerial skills but also insight into psychological factors that influence teachers’ performance, the learning process, and overall organizational dynamics. Therefore, studying management psychology is relevant to examine how these concepts are applied in educational settings. This study aims to explore the development of research on management psychology in the field of education and to identify its role and contribution to improving the effectiveness of educational organizations. The research questions addressed in this study are: (1) how has management psychology been developed in educational research, and (2) how does it contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of organizational management in education? This research employs a qualitative literature review method. The literature search was conducted using the Google Scholar database with the assistance of the Publish or Perish application, using the keyword “management psychology.” From the initial 30 articles identified, a screening and selection process was carried out, resulting in 5 articles that were analyzed in depth. This research aims to analyze the legal protection of workers' rights during Termination of Employment (PHK) due to company bankruptcy, as well as assessing the conformity between applicable legal provisions and practice in the field. The method used is normative legal research with a statutory and factual approach. The research examines various legal regulations related to employment and bankruptcy, as well as the implementation of these regulations in resolving employment disputes. The research results show that the regulation of layoffs according to Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation emphasizes that layoffs are the termination of the employment relationship due to certain things which result in the end of the rights and obligations between workers and employers which is a last resort. In practice, however, workers often experience difficulties in obtaining their normative rights, especially when companies face financial instability or insolvency. Then the responsibilities that can be carried out by companies to realize fair legal protection for workers are divided into 2 (two) efforts, namely preventive and repressive. Preventive efforts include compliance with labor regulations and transparent communication, while repressive efforts are carried out through dispute settlement and fulfillment of workers’ compensation rights. This research confirms the existence of a gap between legal norms and practice in the field. Therefore, it is necessary to increase legal awareness and strengthen regulatory enforcement to ensure the fulfillment of the rights of workers affected by layoffs.

Learning fiqh is a very important thing to learn because fiqh regulates all the laws of Allah related to human work where the laws are taken from the Qur'an and Sunnah by means of ijtihad. However, in the field there are still many students who do not understand how to perform tayammum taharah correctly. This happens due to lack of understanding and insufficient habits. Thus, this PKM activity aims to educate students related to taharah so that students not only understand theory, but can apply it in daily life according to Islamic law. The method used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) with the stages of discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny. To optimize local potentials such as the competence of ustazah and TPQ facilities, through lectures, demonstrations, discussions, hands-on practice, and evaluation based on interactive quizzes. The results of the tayammum mentoring activities show that TPQ Darul Falah students are very active and interactive during learning. Students who initially did not understand the procedures of tayammum properly and perfunctorially, are now able to do it according to Islamic law. In addition, this training activity provides direct understanding and experience to ustazah and students of TPQ Darul Falah in learning tayamum practice.

This study is motivated by the importance of improving the performance of police officers as the frontline of public service, which is influenced by transformational leadership, organizational communication, and work discipline. In practice, variations in officer performance are still observed at police precincts under the Solok Police Department, as evidenced by differences in case resolution rates, service responsiveness, and the effectiveness of task execution. These conditions are suspected to be related to the suboptimal implementation of transformational leadership, organizational communication, and work discipline among officers. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and organizational communication on police officer performance, as well as to test the role of work discipline as a moderating variable. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a field research design. The study population consisted of all 126 members of the police stations under the Solok Police Department, with a sample size of 124 respondents. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to police officers, which were then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on member performance, with a coefficient of 0.754, a T-statistic of 3.550 (>1.96), and a P-value of 0.000 (<0.05); thus, the first hypothesis is accepted. Organizational communication has a negative and significant effect on performance with a coefficient of -0.615, a T-statistic of 2.509 (>1.96), and a P-value of 0.012 (<0.05). Work discipline does not moderate the effects of transformational leadership or organizational communication on performance, as both show insignificant results. In conclusion, improved police officer performance can be achieved through the implementation of effective transformational leadership and the strengthening of organizational communication.

The furniture industry is a strategic sector in the regional economy, including in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, where the JeparaWaidoko furniture business owned by Mr. Agus Komarudin has been operating since 2010. In running its business, Mebel JeparaWaidoko faces various operational risks that have the potential to disrupt production continuity, employee safety, and financial stability. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the risk management process at this business, including risk identification, risk analysis and assessment, evaluation and prioritization, and implementation and monitoring of risk controls. The method used was descriptive qualitative, using in-depth interviews with the business owner and field observations. The study identified three main risks: the risk of flooding, the risk of workplace accidents due to the use of production machinery, and the risk of rising raw material prices. All three are categorized as high-priority risks requiring planned and systematic management. These findings indicate that risk management practices at Mebel JeparaWaidoko remain informal and intuitive, despite the implementation of simple control measures. This study recommends formalizing an ISO 31000-based risk management system, improving occupational health and safety programs, and diversifying raw material suppliers as medium-term strategic steps

This research is motivated by the importance of strengthening a professional public service culture through the integration of public administration values, norms, and ethics. Although various regulations and codes of ethics have been established in public organizations, gaps remain between formal norms and service practices in the field, such as low levels of responsiveness and professionalism among civil servants. This study aims to analyze the relationship between values, norms, and ethics in shaping public service culture, and to examine the role of organizational ethics and codes of ethics in strengthening public administration professionalism. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design through a literature review of relevant journals, books, and policy documents. Content analysis techniques were used to identify patterns of relationships between concepts. The results indicate that the internalization of ethical values such as integrity, accountability, and transparency significantly influences the quality of public services. An organizational code of ethics serves as a formal instrument that clarifies standards of conduct for civil servants and strengthens a professional work culture. Consequently, public organizations need to strengthen ethics training, oversight mechanisms, and the integration of ethical values into performance evaluation systems to build responsive and public-interest-oriented services.

The synchronization of physical and juridical land data is a fundamental prerequisite for ensuring legal certainty in every land rights transfer process. Discrepancies between physical field conditions and juridical documents frequently trigger land disputes that impede the performance of Notary/PPAT offices. This community service article reports on a Field Practice (PPL) activity conducted at the Office of Notary/PPAT in Jember Regency during January–February 2026. The primary objective was to provide technical assistance in accelerating physical-juridical data synchronization to guarantee the validity of issued deeds. The method employed was participatory observation, in which students were directly engaged in the partner's workflow. Assistance activities covered document inspection, file digitization, coordination with BPN and tax authorities, and factual field verification. Results indicate that PPL student assistance measurably accelerated the office's administrative workflow, enhanced data validation accuracy, and confirmed conformity between the physical condition of rice-field land and the certificate documents.

This study analyzes the implementation of Pohuwato Regency Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Public Order and Community Peace in addressing prostitution, focusing on the disparity between repressive and rehabilitative approaches; the background of the research is based on the gap between normative provisions and implementation reality, characterized by an increase in raids without a corresponding decline in prostitution practices. The research aims to examine the normative position of the regional regulation within the legal hierarchy and to evaluate the effectiveness of law enforcement in the field; the method employed is empirical legal research (socio-legal research) through in-depth interviews, observation, and secondary data analysis. The findings reveal that, normatively, the regional regulation potentially conflicts with the hierarchy of laws and regulations due to the imposition of detention sanctions without judicial oversight mechanisms, while implementation-wise, law enforcement only targets sex workers through a repressive approach without adequate social rehabilitation and economic empowerment programs. The implications of this study underscore the necessity of revising the regional regulation to align with the supremacy of law and integrating a rehabilitative approach into a more comprehensive and equitable prostitution prevention policy.
