This community service program was initiated in response to the need to strengthen collaboration between parents and schools in fostering character development and noble morals among elementary school students. The main issue addressed was the lack of structured and sustainable educational collaboration between parents and the school in supporting character-building practices. The program aimed to develop a participatory and reflective collaboration model through a systematic parenting initiative. A qualitative participatory approach based on community engagement was employed, consisting of needs assessment, joint discussion and planning, parenting program design, workshops and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), mentoring and monitoring, as well as evaluation and reflection. The results highlight significant improvements in two-way communication between parents and teachers, increased collective awareness of the family’s strategic role in character education, and the establishment of a regular communication forum as a new social structure within the school community. Positive changes were also observed in parenting practices, including the implementation of positive discipline and empathetic communication at home aligned with school values. The emergence of local parent leaders further strengthened program sustainability. Overall, the participatory educational collaboration model proved effective in promoting social transformation and reinforcing sustainable character and moral development among students.

Karangtalun Village, located in Kalidawir District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java, has significant potential for developing Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) to support community-based health practices. However, the utilization of TOGA in daily health care remains limited due to a lack of knowledge and practical skills among residents. At the same time, the community faces a growing social challenge—digital exposure among young children, which negatively affects their physical, psychological, and social well-being. To address these issues, a capacity-building program was implemented for women involved in the Integrated Guidance Post (Posbindu) through training on TOGA cultivation and digital literacy education using the Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach. This participatory model actively engaged community members in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The program results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of TOGA as an alternative for self-care and traditional medicine, greater awareness of the adverse effects of excessive gadget use among children, and positive behavioral changes in parenting, such as setting screen-time limits and replacing gadget use with creative family activities. These findings demonstrate that integrating local wisdom–based education with digital literacy can effectively strengthen family resilience and promote sustainable well-being in the digital era.

Language processing disorders are disorders that arise when someone is under mental stress or experiencing deep emotional trauma. This study aims to analyze the various types of language processing disorders experienced by the character Tari in the film "Bolehkah Sekali Saja Aku Menangis" (May I Cry Once) and to determine the relationship between the character's emotional state and the linguistic symptoms that appear. This study uses a qualitative approach with a naturalistic approach and analytical descriptive methods, where data are collected through observation and recording of dialogues in the film that show signs of language disorders. Samples were taken purposively based on statements that indicate irregularities in sentence structure, long pauses, repetitions, or inappropriate word choices. This analysis compares the results of the study with existing psycholinguistic theories regarding how language processing works and the influence of trauma on speech production. The findings of this study indicate four main types of language processing disorders experienced by the character Tari: unfinished sentences, long pauses, repetitions of words or phrases, and inaccuracies in word choice. These types of disorders are more apparent when the character experiences high emotional stress and when interacting with family members related to her trauma.  The results of this study support the theory that emotional trauma can disrupt verbal working memory function and speech planning processes, ultimately impeding communication skills.

Lack of parental supervision due to busyness in the agricultural sector and other jobs is one of the main factors in the increase in juvenile delinquency in Patane II Village and SMA N 1 Parmaksian. The lack of supervision and guidance makes children and adolescents more vulnerable to negative behavior. KPPM students took the initiative to carry out activities with children and socialize about juvenile delinquency, both at school and in the village environment, in order to increase awareness and provide education to adolescents about the negative impacts of deviant behavior. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors causing juvenile delinquency in Patane II Village and also propose solutions to overcome the problem. This study used a qualitative descriptive method by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation to understand the types of juvenile delinquency, the factors causing it, and efforts to overcome it through activities and socialization. Based on the results of the study, the activities and socialization can help children understand and increase their concern for their living environment in Patane II Village and SMA N 1 Parmaksian and encourage them to take positive actions. The sampling techniques used include accidental sampling, snowball sampling, and purposive sampling. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and in-depth interviews. The data analysis involves descriptive statistics, path analysis, and the Sobel test. The study results indicate: 1) Public perception of Krama Bali family planning is mostly positive, with most respondents understanding and accepting it. However, the practice of having four children, as recommended by Krama Bali family planning, is less common due to the risks of late-age pregnancy. 2) Education has a significant positive effect on contraceptive use, with employed respondents using contraceptives for a longer duration than unemployed respondents. Meanwhile, the KAP of Krama Bali family planning has a significant negative effect on contraceptive use. 3) Education and contraceptive use have a significant negative effect on fertility, with employed respondents having lower fertility than unemployed respondents. In contrast, the KAP of Krama Bali family planning has a significant positive effect on fertility. 4) Contraceptive use partially mediates the effects of education, employment status, and the KAP of Krama Bali family planning on fertility.

Early marriage remains a significant issue contributing to the high prevalence of stunting in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas. The lack of awareness among adolescents and parents regarding the negative impacts of early marriage and the importance of proper nutrition is a major contributing factor. The PENA EMAS (Early Marriage Prevention for Stunting Elimination Towards Healthy Children) program was implemented in Tanjung Buaya Village as part of the KKN-T Posko 22 UNIMMAN initiative to raise public awareness about the dangers of early marriage and its link to stunting risk. This program utilized three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Activities included educational sessions, adolescent health screenings, local vegetable planting initiatives, and interactive media such as podcasts and educational competitions. The evaluation results showed an increase in community awareness of family planning and nutrition fulfillment, with five adolescents identified as having anemia based on hemoglobin (Hb) level tests. The conclusion of this program is that community-based educational interventions with participatory approaches can enhance awareness among adolescents and parents in preventing early marriage and reducing stunting risk. Recommended follow-up actions include regular health check-ups, adolescent mentoring, and the empowerment of Youth Ambassadors for Stunting Prevention to ensure the program’s sustainability.

The aim of this research is to develop an effective strategy for family financial planning by utilizing secondary data obtained through literature studies. In today's consumer-driven society, managing finances wisely is essential to avoid impulsive spending and achieve long-term financial stability. The study identifies several key strategies that families can adopt to improve their financial behavior and planning. These include: (1) creating a budget and following it with discipline, (2) applying the “24-hour postpone” rule to avoid impulsive purchases, (3) reducing exposure to advertising, (4) focusing on long-term financial goals, (5) evaluating monthly shopping habits, (6) learning from personal desires instead of condemning them, and (7) reducing debt gradually. By implementing these strategies consistently, families can build better spending habits, avoid excessive consumer behavior, and work towards more sustainable financial well-being. These insights serve as a practical guideline for financial literacy and behavior modification in everyday family life.
