Prosiding Seminar Nasional Ilmu Ekonomi dan Akuntansi 2024 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study analyzes the differences between the neoliberal and social democratic paradigms in poverty alleviation policies in Indonesia, by adding an Islamic Economic perspective as an alternative. The neoliberal paradigm focuses on free market mechanisms, deregulation, and minimizing the role of the state, but often exacerbates social inequality. In contrast, the social democratic paradigm balances the role of the market and state intervention through resource redistribution and protection of vulnerable groups through sustainable social programs. Islamic economics offers a complementary approach oriented towards the principles of distributive justice, balance, and solidarity, by integrating spiritual values into socio-economic policies. A qualitative approach is used in this study, with policy analysis of programs such as the Family Hope Program (PKH) and the National Health Insurance (JKN). The results show that the social democratic paradigm is more effective in reducing poverty systemically than neoliberalism, especially through increasing access to education, health, and social protection. However, budget constraints, corruption, and infrastructure gaps remain significant challenges. The Islamic Economic perspective emphasizes the importance of zakat, waqf, and infaq as instruments of wealth redistribution that have the potential to strengthen inclusive and sustainable poverty alleviation policies. This study recommends strengthening the synergy between the paradigm of social democracy and the values of Islamic Economics to create policies that are more effective, equitable, and oriented towards the welfare of society holistically.

Extension on Fish Cultivation in Buckets (Budikdamber) to groups of housewives aims to increase understanding, skills and independence in managing local resources to support family food security. This activity was carried out in Huangobotu Village, Dungingi District, Gorontalo City, using lecture, discussion and live demonstration methods. The material presented includes efficient fish cultivation techniques using buckets as a medium, as well as integration with plants as an integrated agricultural system. The results of the activity showed that participants had high enthusiasm in adopting this simple technology. In addition, they can manage fish and plant cultivation independently in the household environment, which can increase the fulfillment of family food needs. However, several challenges arise regarding water management and selecting appropriate fish feed. This program shows great potential in increasing food security, especially for housewives in urban areas with limited land. The long-term success of this program requires ongoing support in technical aspects and solving problems that arise during the implementation of Budikdamber. Through this program, it is hoped that a community will be created that is more independent in meeting the nutritional needs of the family, as well as playing a role in realizing family-based food security.

Stunting is a growth disorder caused by a long-term lack of nutrition, starting during pregnancy and continuing until the child reaches the age of 24 months. This condition is a serious problem that is associated with an increased risk of various health problems, such as disease, premature death, and delays in children's motor and mental development. Stunting can significantly hinder a child's physical and cognitive development, which ultimately has a negative impact on their quality of life in the future. To overcome the problem of stunting, this program was designed with the main aim of increasing community awareness in Giripawana village regarding the importance of healthy living habits as a measure to prevent stunting. This program focuses on educating the public, especially teenagers, about the importance of good nutrition from an early age and the negative impact of early marriage which can reduce the risk of stunting. Apart from that, this program also involves consultation with parents regarding the causes of stunting, the possible impact on children's health and development, as well as preventive steps that can be taken. The education provided covers various aspects such as good parenting patterns and choosing nutritious foods which are very important to support children's optimal growth. Research conducted in Giripawana village used a phenomenological approach with qualitative methods to further explore the experiences and factors that influence stunting in the community. This research involved 25 toddlers who were classified as high risk of stunting. However, the evaluation results showed that only 2 toddlers actually experienced stunting. This research aims to understand in depth the lived experiences and perspectives of families and communities regarding the problem of stunting, as well as to assess the effectiveness of education and intervention programs that have been implemented. Using a phenomenological approach, this research seeks to explore the subjective experiences of families and communities regarding stunting, to gain a more comprehensive insight into this problem. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide valuable information that can be used to plan and implement more effective stunting prevention and control programs in the future, as well as to improve the quality of life of children in the community. The research results show that most of the health problems in Giripawana village are caused by malnutrition in children under five, which often ends in stunting. We strongly believe that through this outreach, community awareness in Giripawana village will increase regarding the importance of maintaining the health and nutrition of their children. The important role of parents, especially mothers, is in ensuring that their children receive adequate and balanced nutritional intake. The importance of early detection of signs of stunting so that appropriate intervention can be carried out as early as possible.

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem in young children that has serious implications for physical growth, cognitive development, and individual productivity. This condition is caused by a range of complex factors, including poor maternal nutrition and environmental conditions affecting quality of nutrition. The first 1,000 days of life represent a critical period for stunting prevention, as children's brain growth and development are particularly rapid during this time. Socialization regarding the importance of balanced nutrition and Family Planning programs is a strategic step to support optimal child growth and prevent stunting. This program begins with obtaining permits and coordinating with the Head of Kemiri Village to identify appropriate targets, as well as involving local neighborhood association in surveying facilities and infrastructure. The initiative aims to raise awareness in Kemiri Village about stunting and its prevention, and to educate the importance of balanced nutrition for supporting optimal child growth. Through socialization and counseling, it is hoped that the community will be able to recognize signs of stunting and take appropriate actions. This aligns with the village’s sustainable development goals (SDGs), particularly in achieving the target of a hunger-free village. By reducing the prevalence of stunting, the quality of life for the community can be significantly improved.

This study aims to evaluate the impact of environmental factors on children's criminal behavior. The underlying problem of this study is that the increase in criminality among children is often influenced by the environment in which they grow up. Environmental factors such as the family's economic situation, social environment, quality of education and level of parental supervision are the main focus of this study. Based on social and child development theories, the environment plays an important role in shaping individual behavior, including the tendency to commit criminal acts. This research uses the literature study method. Data were collected without directly involving the research subjects, but rather through data collection methods. The research adopted a comprehensive literature review approach with a focus on in-depth analysis and synthesis of findings from various relevant literatures. The results show that children raised in an environment with low economic conditions, lack of attention from parents, and exposure to negative social environments tend to be more prone to engage in criminal behavior. As a solution, this study recommends improving the quality of education, educating parents on the importance of supervision, and effective social rehabilitation programs for children involved in criminal acts. It is hoped that these findings can contribute to efforts to prevent criminality among children through a more comprehensive environmental approach.
