Hypertension is referred to as “the silent killer”, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 29% of the world's population will experience hypertension in 2025, the potential increase in essential hypertension in adolescents can continue into adulthood due to lifestyle changes. So, it is necessary to provide nutrition education as a prevention of hypertension through the media of card games. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nutrition education on the prevention of hypertension through card game media on increasing the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents at SMAN 1 Krian. This type of research is quasi-experimental with Two Group Pre test-Post test Control Group Design. The research sample was 48 adolescents at SMAN 1 Krian, divided into experimental and control groups. Knowledge data with multiple choice knowledge test and attitude from attitude questionnaire using linkert scale. Data analysis of the Wilcoxon test was 0.00 < 0.05 for the increase in knowledge in the control group and the experimental group, while the increase in attitude was 0.00 < 0.05 for the control group and the experimental group. Data analysis using the Mann-Whitney Test (p>0.05), obtained a different test for increasing knowledge (0.22> 0.05), while a different test for increasing attitudes (0.02 < 0.05).  The results showed that there was no significant difference in nutrition education on the prevention of hypertension through card game media on improving knowledge, while there was a significant difference in nutrition education on the prevention of hypertension through card game media on improving adolescent attitudes at SMAN 1 Krian.

Resistant hypertension (RH) is defined as the failure to attain a controlled blood pressure in spite of the use of a triple combination therapy comprising a renin-angiotensin system inhibitor (RAS-i), a calcium antagonist, and a diuretic.Endothelin has been identified as a potential therapeutic agent target in the treatment of resistant hypertension. In hypertension and end-organ damage, endothelin plays a key role as a vasoconstrictor, comitogenic agent, and mediator of aldosterone and catecholamine release. ET inhibitors (receptor antagonist), currently approved by FDA in 2024 for the treatment of resistant and pulmonary hypertension. Aprocitentan seem to be also very useful for both essential hypertension and RH as well and could be used in combination of other hypertension drugs to get the best blood pressure control. Aprocitentan (Tryvio) is a novel new drug that administrated orally and showed well tolerated dual ET receptor antagonist, which has been inspected in numerous scientific studies and many clinical trials that showed hopeful results for RH control. As a result, that has been approved and optimistically it will help patients and prevent further cardiovascular disease and other organs damages. This article discusses several research that studied Aprocitentan from all aspects.

Hypertension is a condition where systolic blood pressure is equal to or more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is more than or equal to 90 mmHg. The cause of hypertension can be influenced by genetic factors, environmental factors or influenced by a combination of these two factors. From the causative factors, hypertension can be classified into 2, namely: primary or essential hypertension for which the cause is not known, and secondary hypertension which is hypertension arising from other diseases. According to the American Heart Association in 2019, there were about 4 billion people on the Asian continent, but levels of awareness, treatment and blood pressure control tend to be low. The Chinese population has a presentation of 47% of the population who are aware and check themselves for hypertension, 14% of whom are undergoing treatment. Singapore has 74% of people aware of hypertension and 69% undergoing treatment. In America, about 46% of adults have hypertension, about 40% of whom are African-American-non-Hispanic men and women. Women aged 20 to 34 years, 13% had hypertension; nearly 86% of the condition was in their mid-70s. Men at that age also had the same condition, increasing from about 26% to 80%.

Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure above 140/90 mmHg. One of the causes of hypertension that is difficult to control is stress which can worsen the client's condition so that it is needed to handle through stress management. Zikir relaxation therapy is one of the relaxation therapies with an elemental approach to spirituality that is useful for reducing stress. The purpose of this case study is to illustrate the application of Zikir Relaxation Therapy to stress on clients with essential hypertension in the area assisted by the Rowosari Health Center Semarang. This type of research is descriptive using the case study approach method. The subjects used were two respondents with the criteria of clients with essential hypertension, level I-II hypertension, and moderate stress levels. The form of intervention is the application of Zikir relaxation therapy 4 times in 2 weeks (twice a week). The analysis is used to determine the stress level using the DSS (Distress Symptom Scale) measuring instrument. The results showed a decrease in stress levels before and after the administration of Zikir therapy from moderate stress to mild stress for subject I with a decrease of 36 scores and from moderate stress to normal for subject II with a decrease in 40 scores. The average reduction in stress levels of the two subjects after Zikir relaxation from an average score of 63 to 38. From the results of these studies, the provision of zikir therapy can be used as an intervention to reduce stress levels in clients with essential hypertension.
