Digital transformation has reshaped community life by increasing internet dependency in daily communication, financial transactions, and public services. However, this rapid development has also intensified cybersecurity risks, particularly link-based scams and the misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Limited digital literacy at the family level makes communities vulnerable to phishing attacks, personal data breaches, and AI-generated fraud. This community service program aimed to strengthen digital literacy among residents of RW 03 Kalipancur, Semarang, through participatory education focusing on link scam detection and responsible AI usage. The program involved interactive lectures, case discussions, simulations, and pre-test and post-test evaluations with 18 participants from family groups, PKK cadres, and elderly residents. The results showed a significant increase in understanding, from an average pre-test score of 43% to a post-test score of 84%. Beyond knowledge improvement, participants demonstrated increased awareness and behavioral change toward safer digital practices. The findings suggest that community-based participatory approaches effectively enhance family-level digital resilience and can serve as a replicable empowerment model in other communities facing similar digital threats.

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are religious institutions focused on education, the dissemination of Islamic knowledge, and the propagation of Islamic propagation, as well as serving as centers for the development of religious thinkers. Furthermore, pesantren also serve as platforms for human resource development and empowerment for alumni, families, and the wider community. This research aims to collect data to uncover fundamental issues arising from phenomena, realities, and experiences, thereby providing a diverse range of knowledge regarding the life and practice of pesantren-based economic empowerment. Economic empowerment is understood as both a process and a goal. As a process, economic empowerment encompasses a series of efforts to improve the economic capabilities and strengths of vulnerable communities to improve their quality of life. As a goal, economic empowerment represents the desired condition or outcome and serves as a measure of the success of the process. To realize an empowered people's economy, three main elements are required: production potential, distribution potential, and consumption potential. These three elements constitute concrete and applicable steps for effectively implementing community economic empowerment. By considering these three potentials, empowerment can be implemented in a focused and sustainable manner. Pesantren, in their historical and cultural dynamics, play a vital role in the life of the nation. Therefore, Islamic boarding schools have the capacity, both in quality and quantity, to contribute and play a significant role in efforts to empower the community's economy.

Salem District is one of the largest coffee commodities in Brebes Regency. This significant potential has yet to provide a meaningful contribution to the income of coffee farmers, especially in Gunung Jaya village, Salem District. The low income of coffee farmers is due to the fact that they still sell their coffee products in the form of cherry. Over time, in 2018, farmers began to develop small-scale and simple coffee processing from green beans to roasted beans and coffee powder, pioneered by the SME "Lulumpang Kopi". They still use simple tools and often have to travel out of town to obtain the desired coffee powder. Lulumpang Kopi can produce 100-150 packages of coffee weighing 100 grams. Seeing this potential, the Community Partnership Empowerment team (PKM) from the University of Civilisation and UNSOED, funded by DIKTISAINTEK, is conducting community service this year 2025 using training methods, workshops, and appropriate technology grants. Thus, technology has been granted in the form of 1 Huller machine with a capacity of 150kg/batch, 1 BBM Grinding machine with a capacity of 10kg/batch, and scales. This assistance aims to enhance farmers' capabilities to achieve greater economic independence and improve their competitiveness in the market. As a result of this activity, partners were able to increase the capacity and quality of coffee farmers' production through the grant of equipment such as huller, BBM grinder, and digital scales, making the processing faster, more efficient, and yielding better coffee compared to traditional methods. In addition, the training participants also demonstrated an increase in knowledge through pre-tests and post-tests, rising from 66.5% to 77.3%, an increase of 13.8% from the 40 participants who attended.

Cahaya Amal Soleh Foundation is a social institution that focuses on community service through various institutional programs engaged in social, education, and community empowerment. However, a number of operational staff who do not have a financial background have difficulty in understanding and managing financial reports effectively. This study aims to assist staff through the On-the-Job Learning and Development Program (OLDP) themed Finance for Non-Finance with the SIAPIK (Islamic Boarding School and Social Charity Accounting Information System) application approach. The method used is a qualitative approach with a participatory model, involving direct training, transaction recording simulations, and evaluation of participant understanding. The results of the assistance showed a significant increase in staff understanding of basic accounting principles, transaction recording, and SIAPIK-based financial reporting. These findings indicate that a practical approach through an application based on the foundation's needs can improve the financial capacity of non-accounting staff. The implications of this activity reinforce the importance of digitizing the financial system of social organizations and the need for ongoing training for human resources so that accountable and transparent financial governance can be realized sustainably. In addition, the results of this program highlight that the integration of technology and participatory training can overcome barriers in financial literacy among non-finance staff. The SIAPIK application provides an accessible interface and structured modules that are easy to understand, thereby reducing the complexity usually associated with financial management. Staff who previously felt unconfident in processing financial transactions gradually gained competence and independence in applying accounting procedures. The training also fostered collaborative learning, where participants supported each other in solving case simulations, enhancing not only technical knowledge but also teamwork and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the foundation’s management expressed that the program positively contributed to institutional performance by ensuring more reliable and transparent financial reporting.

Household organic waste production in Thekelan Hamlet has increased along with population density and agricultural activities, potentially having negative impacts on the environment and health. However, this waste actually has the potential to be processed into environmentally friendly products with economic value, one of which is eco-enzymes. This community service activity aims to increase community awareness and skills in processing organic waste into eco-enzymes through a participatory approach, technical training, and live demonstrations. The main partners in this activity are housewives and village environmental cadres, who are the main targets for introducing organic waste processing techniques. During the implementation, participants were trained on the benefits and how to produce eco-enzymes independently. This activity not only provided an understanding of the eco-enzyme production process but also motivated participants to produce eco-enzymes independently at home. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in understanding of the benefits of eco-enzymes as an environmentally friendly product, which can be used as a natural cleaner and organic fertilizer. In addition, participants also began to demonstrate the initiative to produce eco-enzymes independently, which has the potential to reduce household organic waste and increase economic value through the utilization of this product. The findings from this activity demonstrate that community-based waste management can not only be an environmentally friendly solution but also has high economic value. This empowerment model can serve as a sustainable model and be implemented in other areas, providing extensive benefits to the environment and the local economy. Furthermore, this activity introduced the concept of sustainable waste management to the community, providing them not only with new knowledge about organic waste processing but also with the opportunity to apply these techniques in their daily lives.
