Teacher performance is one of the key factors in determining the quality of education and the achievement of school objectives. Several factors that are assumed to influence teacher performance include transformational leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline. This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Musuk Boyolali. The research employed a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. The population consisted of 50 teachers, and all members of the population were selected as respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results revealed that work motivation had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. In contrast, transformational leadership style and work discipline did not have a significant partial effect on teacher performance. However, simultaneously, transformational leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline significantly affected teacher performance. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.324 indicates that these three variables explain 32.4% of the variation in teacher performance, while the remaining 67.6% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. The findings imply that enhancing work motivation should be prioritized in efforts to improve teacher performance, while leadership and work discipline should continue to be strengthened to support a more effective working environment.

Musi Rawas Utara Regency is categorized as an underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) region that still faces serious challenges in human development, particularly within the education dimension. Although the Human Development Index (HDI) indicates an upward trend, the School Enrollment Rate (SER) and the mean years of schooling at the secondary education level remain relatively low and lag behind other regions. This condition is influenced by limited access to secondary education, household economic vulnerability, and disparities in the quality and distribution of educators in remote areas. This policy paper aims to analyze secondary education issues as a primary obstacle to increasing the HDI of Musi Rawas Utara Regency and to formulate effective and sustainable policy alternatives. The method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis through a literature study, utilizing data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), regional planning documents, as well as relevant national regulations and policies. The analysis was conducted using a SWOT approach to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the regional education policy. The results of the study show that improving the HDI requires integrated, affirmative, and region-based education policies. Three main policy alternatives recommended include expanding and equalizing access to secondary education, strengthening educational assistance and social protection for vulnerable families, and sustainably distributing and improving teacher quality. The implementation of these policies is expected to increase the SER, extend the mean years of schooling, and strengthen the quality of human resources as a foundation for sustainable development in Musi Rawas Utara Regency.

This study aims to analyze the discrepancy between regulations and social realities in fulfilling the right to education in Indonesia. Normatively, the state has established a strong legal framework to guarantee the right to education, as stipulated in the 1945 Constitution and various educational policies. However, in practice, there remains a significant gap between policy and actual conditions in society. This research employs a qualitative approach using a juridical-normative method combined with an empirical (sociological) approach. Data were collected through library research from various sources, including laws and regulations, academic journals, and reports from official institutions. The findings indicate that the discrepancy is reflected in three main aspects: unequal distribution of educational facilities, disparities in the quality of education, and the existence of children who have not accessed education. These issues are influenced by factors such as limited infrastructure, unequal distribution of teachers, geographical challenges, and socio-economic conditions. Therefore, it can be concluded that the fulfillment of the right to education in Indonesia has not been fully optimal due to ineffective and non-adaptive policy implementation. Hence, more comprehensive and contextual efforts are required to achieve an equitable, inclusive, and accessible education system for all.

Teacher performance evaluation is a crucial factor in improving educational quality, but many schools still conduct it manually and subjectively, resulting in less transparent, time‑consuming, and error‑prone outcomes. This study aims to design and develop a web‑based decision support system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method for selecting the best teacher at MTs Mambaul Ulum. The system was developed using the Waterfall model with the Laravel 12 framework and MySQL database, incorporating two evaluator roles: the principal (assessing 5 criteria: teaching hours, responsibility, mastery of material, personality, and attendance) and the vice principal (assessing 4 criteria excluding personality). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document review. System testing employed Black Box Testing and accuracy validation by comparing system outputs with manual Excel calculations. The results show that the SAW method effectively ranks teachers objectively, with Kusyanti achieving the highest score of 0.9450. The system attained 100% accuracy, as no difference was found between manual and system calculations. Moreover, the system reduced evaluation time from days to seconds and provides well‑documented results, thus supporting more transparent and accountable decision‑making. Therefore, this system proves to be reliable, objective, and efficient in assisting school administrators in evaluating teacher performance in a structured and fair manner.

The development of information and communication technology has significantly transformed the field of education. Teachers no longer depend only on lectures to deliver learning materials but also use various learning media to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. One of the most widely used innovations is interactive learning media, which combines text, images, audio, video, and other interactive features to support student learning. Interactive learning media can create a more engaging and enjoyable learning environment. Through this media, students actively participate in learning activities rather than simply receiving information passively. As a result, their attention, motivation, and understanding of the learning materials can improve. However, low student learning outcomes remain a challenge in education. Limited student involvement in the learning process often affects their ability to understand lessons and achieve learning objectives. Previous studies have indicated that interactive learning media can enhance both the quality of learning and student achievement. Therefore, examining the influence of interactive learning media on student learning outcomes is important to support the development of more effective, innovative, and technology-based learning processes in the digital era.
