Improving the quality of Islamic boarding school education is essential to meet the demands of modern times and global competition. These institutions are expected not only to produce academically capable students but also those with strong character, noble morals, and spirituality. A key factor influencing the quality of Islamic boarding school education is the organizational commitment of human resources, particularly educators and educational staff. This study examines the role of human resource commitment in enhancing the quality of Islamic boarding school education, using a library research method by reviewing books, journals, and previous studies on organizational commitment and education quality. The findings highlight that organizational commitment, expressed through affective, normative, and sustained commitment, significantly impacts education quality. These dimensions encourage educators and staff to work professionally and responsibly, focusing on quality in both learning and management. Additionally, pesantren leadership and an organizational culture rooted in Islamic values further strengthen this commitment, leading to a positive and sustainable impact on education quality. The study concludes that fostering strong organizational commitment is crucial for improving pesantren education, urging managers to prioritize human resource development through effective management, visionary leadership, and a conducive organizational culture.

The quality of education is a crucial issue that continues to receive attention in facing the challenges of globalization, digitalization, and the demands of 21st century competencies. Quality improvement efforts are not only related to the quality of students' learning outcomes, but also concern the role of leadership, management effectiveness, and the implementation of a quality assurance system. This study aims to identify strategies to improve the quality of education that have been studied in the literature for the last five years (2020-2025) and answer two research questions, namely: (1) what quality strategies are predominantly discussed in the literature, and (2) how the role of leadership, strategy management, and quality assurance in supporting the quality of education. The method used is literature review with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained from Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) databases using the keyword "quality strategy" with a publication year limit of 2020–2025. The search yielded 30 articles, which then through a screening and selection process obtained 5 relevant articles for analysis. The results of the analysis show three main trends: (1) the strategic role of school principals in building a quality culture, (2) the importance of evaluation and implementation of quality management in a sustainable manner, and (3) the synergy of visionary leadership with the quality assurance system  as the basis for sustainable quality. This study concludes that the education quality strategy requires the integration of these three aspects. Going forward, further research is needed to develop integrative models across approaches and broader educational contexts.

Improving the quality of education is a strategic issue that is the main focus in the development of educational institutions in Indonesia. In the era of globalisation and digital transformation, educational institutions are faced with the demand to produce graduates who are not only academically excellent, but also adaptive to changes and community needs. One approach that has been widely studied to address these challenges is the application of educational quality management. This study aims to systematically review various studies that discuss the concept, implementation, and results of the application of educational quality management, with the main question being how the application of quality management contributes to improving the quality of educational institutions. This study uses a literature review method by searching for scientific articles from 2019 to 2025 accessed through Google Scholar and the Publish or Perish (PoP) application. The search was conducted using the keywords ‘educational quality management’, ‘quality implementation’, and ‘improvement of educational institution quality’. From the search results of 15 articles, five main articles were obtained and analysed in depth based on their relevance to the topic and contribution to the research focus. The results of the study revealed three main themes: first, quality management is implemented as a continuous improvement strategy that emphasises planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up on quality; second, transformational and collaborative leadership are determining factors in the successful implementation of quality management; third, the implementation of quality management has been proven to improve student academic achievement and the effectiveness of educational institutions. This study concludes that educational quality management plays a significant role in building a culture of quality, accountability, and professionalism among educators. Further research is recommended to explore models of digital and participatory quality management implementation in the context of 21st-century education.

Doctors play a crucial role in determining the quality of healthcare services and in upholding the right to health as guaranteed by the constitution and international human rights frameworks. Despite this essential role, medical practice continues to encounter significant challenges, including disparities in medical education quality, inadequate competency assessment mechanisms, and limited integration of professional ethics, discipline, and scientific standards within the health legal system. These issues create risks to patient safety and undermine public trust in medical services. This research analyzes the urgency of health law reform to ensure physician competence and proposes an integration model that unites ethics, discipline, and scientific foundations as the core pillars for equitable and welfare-oriented medical professional governance. Using a normative legal research method, this study adopts legislative, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Primary and secondary legal materials are examined qualitatively through doctrinal studies, normative analysis, and comparisons with governance practices of the medical profession in other countries. The study finds that health law reform should prioritize strengthening regulations on competency standards, transparent certification and periodic recertification systems, as well as integrated professional oversight that aligns ethics, discipline, and legal accountability. The proposed integration model serves as a framework to ensure that every physician maintains measurable competence, adheres to professional ethics, and upholds clear legal responsibilities in clinical practice. Reforming health law through such integration is a strategic step to enhance medical service quality, reinforce patient protection, and advance global justice and welfare.

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays a fundamental role in shaping children's character, moral values, and intellectual potential from an early age. However, many PAUD institutions in Indonesia still face serious challenges in management, where attention is focused more on operational sustainability than on improving educational quality. This study aims to describe the actual condition of PAUD institutions, analyze the causes of weak management, and identify the impact of operational orientation on educational quality. The method used is a literature study through analysis of various sources such as books, scientific journals, research reports, and government policies related to PAUD implementation. The results of the study indicate that weak management is caused by limited human resources, low managerial competence, minimal funding, weak planning, and a lack of supervision and community support. The impact is seen in the decline in educational quality and low public trust in PAUD institutions. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen quality-based management that emphasizes improving educator competence, community involvement, effective management of infrastructure, utilization of educational technology, and implementation of continuous evaluation. Professional and adaptive PAUD management is key to realizing superior, high-quality institutions that are relevant to the developmental needs of early childhood in the modern era.

The improvement of Islamic elementary education quality largely depends on the competence of teachers as the primary agents of learning. In the context of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), the challenges of globalization and the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum demand teachers to develop professionally, innovatively, and with strong Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the integration of transformational leadership and organizational culture in enhancing the quality of teachers’ human resources in MI. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed at three Islamic elementary schools in Central Java. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with source and method triangulation for validation. The findings reveal that transformational leadership practiced by school principals plays a crucial role in building teachers’ motivation, commitment, and change orientation through exemplary behavior, inspiration, and empowerment. Meanwhile, an organizational culture rooted in Islamic values strengthens collaboration, professionalism, and shared responsibility among teachers. The integration of these two elements creates a synergistic effect that enhances teachers’ pedagogical, professional, and spiritual competencies. It can be concluded that transformational leadership combined with a strong organizational culture serves as an effective strategy to sustainably improve teacher quality in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah..

Lecturers are a key element in improving the quality of education in higher education. Effective assessment of lecturer performance is essential for evaluation and improvement of education quality. Instituito Profissional de Canossa (IPDC) evaluates lecturer performance through manual methods involving students, this process often produces inaccurate data and slows down decision making. For this reason, a decision support system is needed that can accommodate all the criteria needed in decision making using the promethee method to assess lecturer performance. Promethee was chosen in this research because of its ability to consider data characteristics and provide more accurate results. This DSS will consider three assessment criteria, including education, community service and research. The results of the DSS implementation with the Promethee method can provide recommendations for lecturer performance rankings that help the quality assurance team in identifying outstanding lecturers.

Vocational education in Indonesia faces a serious challenge in the form of a gap between the competencies of Vocational High School (SMK) graduates and the evolving needs of the workforce. Timika City, despite having the largest number of vocational high schools (SMK) in Papua, has not yet fully demonstrated optimal educational management quality, particularly in the aspect of school administration. This condition has resulted in low effectiveness in data recording, documentation of industrial work practices, and reporting and evaluation of partnerships with the business and industrial world (DUDI). This study aims to explore and analyze administrative management strategies that can improve educational quality while strengthening the work readiness of vocational high school students in Timika City. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis of secondary data, including government policy reports, educational statistics, and the latest scientific literature. The results show that weaknesses in the administrative system are one of the factors inhibiting the achievement of competitive vocational education quality. The implementation of management strategies based on Total Quality Management (TQM) principles, particularly through the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle, data-driven decision-making, and the involvement of all school elements, has proven effective in increasing the efficiency and accountability of administrative services. The discussion also emphasized the importance of transformational leadership from school principals, developing the competencies of administrative staff, utilizing information technology in administrative systems, and strengthening strategic partnerships with the industrial and industrial sectors (DUDI). Therefore, it can be concluded that school administrative management is not merely a technical function, but rather a strategic component in building a vocational education ecosystem that is adaptive, relevant, and oriented to the needs of the workplace. This research recommends that school policymakers and local governments strengthen administrative governance systems to support educational quality and improve the job readiness of vocational high school graduates.

Sustainable learning should begin with strengthening basic skills such as reading, writing, and arithmetic (calistung). This is heavily influenced by the teaching methods, media, and teaching modules used. Adapting the content into student activities through modules is key to improving the quality of the learning process. In response to this issue, the Community Service Team (PkM) conducted a Training on Preparing Teaching Modules at the Swara Peduli Ceria Foundation, located in Klender, East Jakarta. This training aimed to assist educators at the learning center in developing relevant and impactful teaching modules for children. The activity was held at the Learning Center Hall of the Swara Peduli Ceria Foundation, with 15 participants attending. The training was carried out in five stages: (1) initial preparation, (2) activity presentation, (3) delivery of material, (4) activity evaluation, and (5) follow-up. Participants were given both theoretical materials and practical experience in developing teaching modules. The results showed an improvement in the participants' ability to design teaching modules that were appropriate for the needs of the children at the learning center. The final product, a collaboratively developed teaching module, was considered beneficial and practical for the educators to implement in their lessons. This activity provided a positive impact not only for the participants but also for the quality of learning at the center. The PkM program strengthened the role of higher education institutions in supporting sustainable education for the community. By helping educators in preparing suitable teaching materials and modules, the program contributed to enhancing the learning environment for children, ensuring that the education they receive aligns with their developmental needs. This initiative also highlights the importance of collaboration between universities and local educational institutions in improving education quality and fostering sustainable growth in the community.

This study aims to analyze the influence of economic growth and education quality on labor absorption in 27 regencies/cities of West Java Province during the 2020–2024 period using the Random Effect Model (REM) method. The estimation results show that economic growth has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption, with a coefficient of 0.322424 and a p-value of 0.0002. This indicates that regional economic growth contributes to increasing employment opportunities. On the other hand, the quality of education, measured by the average years of schooling, has a negative and insignificant effect on labor absorption, with a coefficient of -0.706782 and a p-value of 0.0755. These findings suggest that improvements in formal education do not automatically lead to increased labor absorption, likely due to a mismatch between graduate qualifications and labor market needs. The Adjusted R-squared value of 0.091650 indicates that the model explains only about 9.16% of the variation in labor absorption, with the remaining variation influenced by other unobserved factors. Therefore, strategic policies are needed, such as the development of labor-intensive sectors and the improvement of vocational education quality and relevance, to optimally enhance labor absorption in West Java.

The abolition of the National Examination (UN) as a national policy has marked a significant change in the education evaluation system in Indonesia. This policy was implemented with the aim of reducing psychological pressure on students and replacing it with a more holistic evaluation approach through the National Assessment (AN). However, this transformation has raised various issues, particularly regarding the aspects of equity and accountability in education quality. This study aims to analyze in depth the impact of the abolition of UN on the quality of educational evaluation by examining its implications for equitable access, fairness, and accountability systems at both national and local levels. This research uses a qualitative method with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, analyzing various scholarly literature sources and relevant policy documents published between 2020 and 2024. The findings indicate that although the UN was abolished with the intention of promoting fairness and reducing academic stress, the implementation of AN has yet to ensure equitable implementation of educational evaluations across regions. Moreover, the absence of a standardized, open, and quantitative evaluation indicator such as the UN has weakened transparency and accountability in education, both in the public's perception and in policy-making processes. Therefore, a new evaluation system is needed—one that is not only diagnostic in nature but also ensures data transparency, equitable access, and strengthened public accountability functions in education.
