The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), financial performance, and Earning Per Share (EPS) on firm value. The object of this research consists of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2021–2024. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data in the form of annual financial statements as the primary source. The sample was selected using purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria, ensuring that only companies with complete data and consistent reporting were included in the analysis. The independent variables analyzed include the audit committee, independent commissioners, institutional ownership, Return on Assets (ROA), and Earning Per Share (EPS). Multiple linear regression analysis was used to process the data in this study, allowing the researchers to examine the simultaneous and partial effects of the variables on firm value. The findings indicate that firm value is significantly influenced by financial performance, particularly ROA, highlighting the importance of operational efficiency and profitability in enhancing shareholder wealth. While certain GCG variables such as institutional ownership showed positive influence, other elements like audit committees and independent commissioners produced mixed results, suggesting that governance mechanisms may have varying effects depending on organizational context. Meanwhile, EPS demonstrated inconsistent results in relation to firm value, implying that market perceptions of earnings may not fully capture the impact on overall firm valuation. This study provides insights for policymakers, investors, and corporate managers on the relative importance of governance and financial indicators in value creation for state-owned enterprises.

Mikroba : Jurnal Ilmu Tanaman, Sains Dan Teknologi Pertanian 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Tanaman Dan Hewani Indonesia

Soil contamination by hydrocarbons, pesticides, heavy metals, and complex pollutants is rapidly increasing and degrading essential ecosystem functions. Physical or chemical treatments offer faster results, yet they are often costly, energy-intensive, and risk disrupting soil biological integrity without fully eliminating pollution sources. Microorganism-based bioremediation provides a more sustainable alternative by utilizing microbial metabolism to degrade or immobilize pollutants into less toxic and less mobile forms. This article presents a structured literature review on the roles and applications of microorganisms for bioremediation of contaminated soils, covering comparisons between single isolates and microbial consortia, dominant biological mechanisms, and ecological challenges in field application. A Systematic Literature Review approach was applied, using narrative synthesis and thematic clustering of national and international journals published between 2020 and 2025. The review indicates that single microbial isolates are commonly selected for specific pollutant targets, whereas microbial consortia are preferred for mixed or persistent contaminants due to metabolic synergy that enhances microbial adaptability and stepwise pollutant breakdown in highly polluted soils. Adaptive mechanisms such as EPS production and biofilm formation contribute to microbial resilience under stress and help retain contaminants within the soil matrix. Key challenges identified include inoculum stability under extreme conditions and limited microbial access to pollutants trapped in micro-soil pores. The findings highlight that microbial selection strategies must be tailored to pollutant characteristics and soil environmental conditions, while also emphasizing the potential of biofilm-based systems and organic carriers to support broader field implementation of microbial bioremediation.

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability ratios, namely Earnings per Share (EPS), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE), on the stock price of PT Ciputra Development Tbk during the 2016–2023 period. The research employs a quantitative approach with a causal research design using secondary data derived from quarterly financial statements and stock closing prices published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, supported by classical assumption tests, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous testing (F-test), and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that EPS, NPM, and ROA do not have a significant effect on stock prices, while ROE has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, all profitability variables do not significantly influence stock prices. The coefficient of determination indicates that profitability ratios explain a relatively small proportion of stock price variation, suggesting that stock prices in the property sector are influenced more by external and market-related factors than by short-term profitability indicators. These findings imply that ROE is the most relevant profitability indicator for investors in assessing property sector stocks, while other profitability ratios play a limited role.

This study investigates the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Risk Ratings on stock prices of companies listed in the ESG Leaders Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020–2023. Using the Ohlson (1995) valuation model as the theoretical framework, the research examines the value relevance of financial information—proxied by Book Value per Share (BVPS) and Earnings per Share (EPS)—and non-financial information in the form of ESG risk ratings. The study employs purposive sampling, resulting in an unbalanced panel dataset of 120 firm-year observations. Panel regression analysis with the Random Effect Model (REM) is applied, supported by classical assumption tests and sensitivity analysis. The findings reveal that BVPS has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, highlighting its role as a stable and value-relevant measure for investors. By contrast, EPS shows a positive but insignificant relationship, confirming the declining relevance of earnings in the Indonesian market. Moreover, ESG Risk Ratings exhibit a negative but statistically insignificant effect, suggesting that while firms with higher ESG risks tend to be valued lower, sustainability considerations are not yet consistently incorporated into equity valuation by Indonesian investors. These results imply that financial fundamentals, particularly BVPS, remain the dominant factor in stock price determination, whereas ESG information has not yet achieved value relevance in the Indonesian context. The study underscores the need for stronger regulatory enforcement, standardized ESG disclosure, and greater investor awareness to enhance the integration of sustainability risks into capital market decision-making.

Indonesia is one of the countries with abundant availability of palm fiber composite, yet its application in advanced material technology remains limited. On the other hand, most motorcycle helmets available in the market are made from ABS plastic, which has limitations in impact energy absorption and may increase the risk of head injuries during accidents. This study aims to develop helmet composites based on palm fiber and epoxy resin by varying the fiber volume fractions (15%, 25%, and 35%) and alkali soaking durations (75, 150, 225, and 300 minutes). The impact strength test results showed that the combination of 35% fiber volume and 225-minute alkali soaking produced the highest specific impact energy (SIP) of 0.142 J/mm². As a comparison, SNI-compliant helmets made from ABS plastic only reached an EPS value of 0.00972 J/mm², indicating that palm fiber-based composite helmets could improve impact energy absorption efficiency by more than 14 times. The results conclude that increasing the fiber volume fraction and optimizing the alkali treatment duration significantly enhances the impact resistance, making ijuk-based composite helmets a promising alternative for safer and more eco-friendly protective gear.

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial performance on firm value in transportation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. The research uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative method, employing secondary data obtained from annual financial statements and capital market databases. Financial performance is measured using three indicators—Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE)—while firm value is measured using Earnings Per Share (EPS) and Price to Book Value (PBV). Data analysis is conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS). The results show that financial performance has a positive and significant effect on firm value, as indicated by a path coefficient of 0.8622, a t-statistic of 31.2125, and a p-value of 0.000. These findings imply that the better a company’s financial performance, the higher its firm value. The results also support the Signaling Theory, which explains that strong financial performance serves as a positive signal to investors about a company’s future prospects. The study highlights the strategic importance of profitability improvement, cost efficiency, and transparency in financial reporting to enhance firm value and strengthen investor confidence, especially in the transportation sector that plays a crucial role in post-pandemic economic recovery.

This study explores the role of parental involvement in fostering academic motivation among elementary school students at SD Negeri 4 Wonoboyo. Grounded in Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory and employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving parents, teachers, and students. Thematic analysis revealed that parents serve as motivators, facilitators, supervisors, and emotional supporters each contributing uniquely to the development of students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Strategies such as verbal encouragement, structured study routines, and emotional affirmation significantly influenced students’ learning enthusiasm and engagement. However, the study also identified critical barriers, including time constraints, limited parental knowledge, and weak school-home communication. These challenges hindered optimal parental participation, particularly among working-class families. The findings emphasize the importance of integrated school-parent collaboration models, such as Epstein’s Six Types of Involvement and the Teachers Involving Parents (TIP) framework, to enhance engagement. Additionally, community-based interventions and flexible policy support were found essential in mitigating structural challenges. This research concludes that empowering parents through responsive and inclusive school practices can significantly enhance students’ academic motivation and long-term development. The study offers valuable insights for educators and policymakers aiming to strengthen parental engagement in primary education, particularly in rural Indonesian contexts

A company's financial performance is one of the main indicators in assessing the health and sustainability of a business entity's operations. Evaluation of financial performance is crucial, especially for large companies operating in strategic sectors such as telecommunications. PT. XL, as a telecommunications company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, requires regular performance assessments to provide a clear picture of the effectiveness of its business strategy and its ability to generate profits. This study aims to analyze PT. XL's financial performance using a profitability ratio approach. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, utilizing secondary data sourced from the company's financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and other financial statements for the 2021–2023 period. The profitability ratios analyzed include Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), and Earnings Per Share (EPS). These five ratios were chosen because they are able to describe the company's ability to generate profits, both in terms of sales, total assets, and shareholder equity. The analysis results indicate that PT. XL's financial performance during the study period is still less than optimal. This is reflected in the profitability ratio, which is below the average standard for the Indonesian telecommunications industry. This condition indicates that the company has not been able to optimally manage its resources to generate competitive profits. This finding has important implications, namely the need to evaluate financial management strategies, operational cost efficiency, and improve service quality to increase company profitability in the future. Therefore, this study confirms that profitability ratio analysis is a crucial instrument for assessing a company's financial condition and serves as a basis for formulating performance improvement strategies.

Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study the analyze the influence of financial performance as a predictor of stock price in the property and real estate sector listed on the IDX for the 2020-2024 period, using a sample consists of 12 property companies. The financial performance variables used in this study include ROE, EPS, CR, and TATO. The result of show that simultaneously, all four variables have a significant  effect on stock prices. Partially, only ROE, EPS, and TATO have a significant impact, while CR has no significant effect. The analysis methods include descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and F Satatistical tests. The findings confirm that profitability, particularly (ROE and EPS) and asset efficiency (TATO), are the factors consideres  by investors when evaluating stocks in the property sector.  The analysis methods used in this study include descriptive statistics to summarize the data, classical assumption tests to ensure the validity of the regression model, multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between the financial performance variables and stock prices, and F-statistical tests to evaluate the overall significance of the model. The findings suggest that profitability, particularly ROE and EPS, and asset efficiency, represented by TATO, are the key factors considered by investors when evaluating stocks in the property sector. These results imply that investors in the property and real estate sector prioritize financial performance metrics that reflect the company's ability to generate returns and utilize its assets effectively. Specifically, ROE and EPS serve as crucial indicators of profitability and are closely monitored by market participants. On the other hand, CR, which measures the company's short-term liquidity, does not appear to have the same level of influence on stock prices.

Internet of Things (IoT)-based digital transformation has become a major catalyst in improving the efficiency of operational systems in various sectors, including the modern retail industry. One of the common logistics problems found in supermarket environments is the accumulation of unorganized shopping trolleys, which can hinder service flow and increase staff workload. This study presents a design of an IoT-based autonomous smart trolley system and automatic navigation to address these problems in a structured manner. The system design utilizes the integration of ESP32 and Arduino UNO microcontrollers, ultrasonic sensors for distance detection, line sensors for automatic path navigation, and Raspberry Pi modules for visual image processing in location tracking. The system is designed to be able to independently reposition the trolley to a predetermined parking station. Conceptual analysis shows that this system has significant potential in reducing operational costs, increasing labor efficiency, and strengthening customer service automation. Initial evaluation of technical and economic feasibility aspects strengthens the opportunity for widespread system implementation in the future. This design is the first step in developing a smart retail solution based on adaptive technology that is in line with the principles of Society 5.0. Furthermore, the development of this smart trolley system also considers user safety and comfort through additional features such as anti-collision sensors, an early warning system in the event of technical problems, and a manual control option as an alternative in emergency situations. The integration of Internet of Things-based technology also enables real-time monitoring and management systems through a web-based dashboard or mobile application, which can be accessed by supermarket management for operational analysis. Thus, this system not only addresses internal logistics needs but also contributes to improving the overall customer experience.

Underpricing continues to be a prominent issue within the Indonesian capital market, as many firms conducting an Initial Public Offering (IPO) tend to set initial share prices below their subsequent market value. This research investigates the moderating role of underwriter reputation in the relationship between profitability, financial leverage, and earnings per share (EPS) on IPO underpricing among firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Utilizing a purposive sampling technique, the study analyzes data from 176 companies. The data are processed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the help of STATA software. The findings reveal that profitability, measured by return on assets (ROA), significantly influences underpricing. In contrast, financial leverage (proxied by the debt-to-equity ratio) and EPS show no statistically significant effect. Moreover, underwriter reputation is shown to moderate the negative impact of both ROA and EPS on underpricing but does not moderate the relationship between the debt-to-equity ratio and underpricing. These results offer valuable insights into signaling theory and information asymmetry, highlighting the importance of firm fundamentals and intermediary reputation in IPO pricing strategies. The study contributes to a better understanding for investors, issuers, and regulators involved in the IPO decision-making process.

This study aims to examine in depth the influence of financial variables consisting of Current Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Earning per Share (EPS) on Stock Returns in primary consumer sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2018–2022 period. This study uses a quantitative approach by utilizing secondary data in the form of annual reports published through the official websites of each company and the Indonesia Stock Exchange page, so that the data used can be accounted for its validity. Sample selection was carried out through a purposive sampling technique with certain criteria resulting in 15 sample companies with a total of 75 observation data which were then analyzed using Eviews 13 statistical software. The analysis focused on partial and simultaneous relationships between variables to determine how much each factor contributed to the movement of Stock Returns. The results showed that the Current Ratio had no significant effect on Stock Returns with a probability value of 0.4079, so that company liquidity in the short term was not a major determining factor for investors. Return on Equity also did not show a significant effect with a probability value of 0.2591, indicating that the company's efficiency in generating profits from shareholder equity has not been a consistent benchmark for investment returns. Conversely, the Debt to Equity Ratio was shown to have a significant negative effect on Stock Returns with a probability value of 0.0053, meaning that the higher the company's leverage level, the greater the risk borne, thus implying a decrease in investor interest and a decrease in returns. Earnings per Share also did not have a significant effect on Stock Returns with a probability value of 0.2989, indicating that although EPS is one of the fundamental indicators, in the context of this research period its effect was inconsistent on the returns received.
