The development of information and communication technology in the 21st century has driven a major transformation in the world of education, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The learning process is no longer limited to conventional classrooms but has shifted to interactive and dynamic digital spaces. This study aims to analyze the role of technology in PAI learning innovation by reviewing its effectiveness, challenges, and implementation strategies from a pedagogical and theological perspective. Through a library research approach with content analysis of scientific literature, this study found that the use of digital technologies such as e-learning platforms, social media, and Islamic applications has the potential to strengthen the internalization of Islamic values in a contextual and engaging manner for the digital native generation. However, the application of technology in PAI still faces various obstacles, such as disparities in access, low teacher digital literacy, and the threat of religious disinformation in cyberspace. Therefore, technology integration must be accompanied by strengthening digital ethics and the principles of maqāṣid al-syarī'ah to prevent the erosion of the spiritual value of Islamic education. The study's findings demonstrate that effective Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning innovations focus not only on the use of digital media but also on character development and noble morals through holistic, creative, and humanistic learning designs. This research contributes to the formulation of a new paradigm for Islamic education that integrates technology and spirituality as a means of developing a generation of Muslims who are morally upright, critical, and adaptable to the challenges of the digital era.

The study aims to analyze strategies for integrating digital literacy into the PAI curriculum, identify the challenges of its implementation, and formulate a contextual model for developing PAI learning based on digital literacy. Using a qualitative research method with a literature review approach and analysis of current curriculum documents, the study found that the implementation of digital literacy in the PAI curriculum remains partial and unsystematic. The findings indicate the need to reformulate the PAI curriculum by comprehensively integrating digital literacy competencies through digital project-based learning, online collaborative learning, and the use of social media for reflective learning. The implications of these findings highlight the urgency of transforming the PAI curriculum to prepare students to become critical, creative, and ethical digital Muslims in the era of technological disruption.

This study aims to analyze digital technology-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning strategies in an effort to enhance religious literacy and strengthen Islamic values in the lives of modern students. Using a literature research method, this study collects and analyzes various literature sources, such as books, scientific journals, articles, and related documents, that discuss the integration of digital technology in PAI learning. The results indicate that digital technologies, such as e-learning, social media, mobile applications, gamification, and virtual reality, play a significant role in creating more interactive, engaging, and effective learning processes. This strategy not only improves students' understanding of religious materials but also helps them internalize Islamic values in their daily lives. Additionally, digital technology enables access to a wider range of learning resources, encourages personalized and adaptive learning, and opens opportunities for more participatory collaboration and discussion. However, the implementation of this strategy also faces challenges, such as the digital divide, infrastructure limitations, and a lack of digital competence among educators. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed to address these challenges, including training for educators, improving access to technology, and curriculum adjustments. Overall, this study concludes that digital technology-based PAI learning strategies are an effective approach to enhancing religious literacy and strengthening Islamic values in the lives of modern students, while also preparing the younger generation to face global challenges while adhering to Islamic principles.

Religious moderation is an important concept in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), especially in the digital era that brings challenges such as the spread of extreme ideologies through the internet and the low digital literacy of students. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities of strengthening religious moderation through the PAI curriculum and offer technology-based strategies. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature review. Data were obtained from various literatures, such as scientific journals, books, and policy documents, which were analyzed using the content analysis method. The results showed that the main challenges include lack of digital literacy, resistance to change, and limited supporting resources. On the other hand, opportunities include the utilization of digital technologies such as online learning platforms, social media, and technology-based educational content to convey moderation values in an attractive manner. Recommended strategies include the integration of moderation values in the curriculum, strengthening teacher competencies through digital training, and collaboration with various stakeholders. This research makes a novel contribution by integrating the challenges and opportunities of the digital era into the approach of strengthening religious moderation. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for policymakers in creating a more adaptive and relevant PAI curriculum in the digital era.
