This research discusses the communication strategy between sellers and buyers on social media as part of an effective marketing strategy. Social media has become a key platform in modern marketing due to its ability to create direct interaction and build relationships between sellers and buyers. The communication strategies applied include the use of relevant content, personal approach, quick response, and utilization of interactive features of social media. The results show that effective communication can increase customer engagement, build trust, expand market reach, and drive increased sales. However, there are challenges in maintaining communication consistency and facing increasing competition in the digital world. Therefore, an innovative and customer-focused approach is required to achieve success in marketing through social media. Communication strategies between sellers and buyers on social media play an important role in supporting the success of marketing strategies in the digital age. Social media has evolved into a major platform for direct interaction between sellers and buyers, offering ease of access, wide reach, and cost-effectiveness compared to traditional marketing methods. This research explores the various communication strategies used by sellers to build relationships with buyers, including the use of relevant and engaging content, a data-driven personalized approach, and prompt responses to customer needs and questions. This research concludes that an effective communication strategy on social media serves not only as a promotional tool, but also as a means to build long-term relationships between sellers and buyers. With the right approach, social media can be a powerful platform to support marketing success, increase customer satisfaction, and achieve overall business goals.

The rapid development of technology and social media has led to an increase in online gambling activities, with promotional advertisements on social media and streamer donation platforms serving as one of the main contributing factors. This study aims to analyze the impact of these advertisements on the rise of online gambling activities, with a legal perspective based on Article 27 Paragraph 2 of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. This research employs a descriptive-analytical approach through regulatory analysis and case studies. The results indicate that the presence of online gambling advertisements on digital platforms violates existing legal provisions and has potential social impacts.

This research aims to find out “Implementation of Waspada Online Media in Communicating Educational News (Case Study: Waspada Medan City Office)”. The method in this study uses qualitative methods with the form of dataresearch(field research). The results of this study are that 1. The role of alert online media in communicating educational news, it can be concluded that Waspada Daily uses marketing communications such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations, personal selling and direct marketing. 2. Waspada Daily prioritizes establishing good relations with consumers and the community in facing competition with online media. 3. Facing the development of journalism in the digital era like today. This issue is interesting considering that repeatedly world journalism experts predict the death of print mass media every time the onslaught of technological developments occurs from time to time. In the digital age, people who need certain information from all over the world can simply search for it on search engines connected to the internet network anytime and anywhere with sophisticated equipment that is currently growing rapidly.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of health promotion through social media in encouraging healthy behaviors among adolescents. The discussion covers two main aspects: the urgency of health promotion through social media for adolescents, and the effectiveness and challenges faced in its implementation. The urgency of health promotion through social media is based on the high usage of digital platforms among adolescents, making it a potential tool for disseminating health information. Social media allows for quick and wide access to educational content, enhances health literacy, and encourages active participation of adolescents in maintaining their health. The study results indicate that health promotion through social media is effective in increasing health knowledge and motivating healthy behavior changes. However, several challenges need to be addressed, such as the spread of inaccurate information, limited access and digital literacy, and issues of privacy and data security. This study concludes that despite the challenges, social media has great potential as an effective health promotion tool for adolescents. Appropriate strategies are needed to overcome these challenges, including digital literacy education and the development of regulations to ensure information accuracy. Further research is recommended to explore the combination of social media with face-to-face interventions to enhance the effectiveness of health promotion

The creative industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth in recent years, causing increasingly tight trade competition and various innovations in product marketing. This research focuses on the handicraft industry, especially accessories such as bracelets, necklaces and rings. Even though stringing looks easy, the biggest challenge is creating a unique design and ensuring the strength of the connecting rope so that it doesn't come loose easily. As technology develops, handicraft producers are now utilizing digital marketing to expand their market reach. Digital marketing, which involves the use of social media for promotion, has become a key strategy in the industry. This research specifically highlights the use of the social media platform TikTok as a digital marketing tool. TikTok, which is popular among teenagers and young adults, provides e-commerce features such as TikTok Shop and live shop, which allow manufacturers to sell their products directly through the app. Through this research, we explore the effectiveness of TikTok as a digital marketing medium for handicraft producers, as well as how this platform can support the growth of the creative industry in Indonesia.

UMKM Berkah Setia in Kadirejo Village is one of the potential UMKM in the area. However, these UMKM still use conventional buying and selling systems and endtrust their product to UMKM centers and souvenir centers. Due to limited capabilities, until now this UMKM product has not been widely known because it has utilized digital technology such as the marketplace as a promotional medium and place for buying and selling. In this service acticity, there are the introduction and assistance of the adoption of E-commerce in the form of the Shopee application media for UMKM Berkah Setia herbal drink. It is hoped that knowledge can increase sales for UMKM owners. The aim of this service activity is not only to introduce the UMKM marketplace, but also to assist in the management of the marketplace so that UMKM income experiences an increase in sales activities. The methods used in this service process are discussion, tutorial, mentoring, and aseesment and evaluation methods. The result from this method show that UMKM actors gain knowledge about creating an account, the process when goods are ordered until they reach the buyer, and UMKM actors gain skills in managing their Shopee accounts

This study aims to analyze the role of the Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism (Diskopar) Dumai City in tourism development and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its implementation. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants consisted of a tourism data and information officer at Diskopar Kota Dumai and a community tourism actor. The data were analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that Diskopar Kota Dumai plays an active role based on three role indicators: institutional position, social expectations, and implementation. The institution is involved not only in policy formulation but also in maintenance, monitoring, training workshops, event organization, and management of public tourism spaces. Supporting factors include regional tourism potential, digital promotion, regulatory documents, and regional budget support. Inhibiting factors include suboptimal maintenance of tourist sites, illegal levies in unmanaged areas, and uneven information access due to limited network coverage. Overall, the role of the Dumai City Diskopar is functioning but still requires strengthening in supervision, facility management, and equitable promotion.
