The existence of Islamic education policies during the New Order era brought changes to Islamic education and the life of the nation, especially Muslims. The birth of a three-ministerial SKB stating that madrasah alumni could continue their education in public schools both at home and abroad. And that was born from the process of modernizing Islamic education which began in the early 20th century. In line with the development of social and economic institutions, the Muslim modern elite mostly live in cities, are highly educated, have religious knowledge, work in the New Order bureaucracy and in various secular modern institutions, the social and religious position of the modern Muslim elite makes them have social access. and strong politics. And they spread a lot to membership in the DPR both through Islamic and nationalist parties such as Golkar and others.

Children are a gift from Allah SWT that should be grateful for, guarded, cared for, guided, educated and must also develop all their potential according to their nature. Education for children has got the most important place, because education is a very important factor in changing a civilization. This study aims to improve the role of parents in educating their children according to religious demands based on the Qur'an so that what is expected by parents can be applied to their children in living life. So this research is a library research. In this research will be explored about Early Childhood Education according to the Qur'an in the study of maudhu'i interpretation. Data were collected from various literatures, such as books, the Koran, interpretations and other research results are then processed into informative data. The results of this study indicate that the active role of parents in educating children is very much needed. Negligence of parents in educating children from an early age can result in unfavorable children's behavior in the future. Children's education according to the Qur'an shows how good children's behavior is, about what is the sense of responsibility for moral development in children, responsibility for attitudes towards children, responsibility for social development in children, responsibility for fostering prayer in children.

In the 21st century, reading and writing are the main assets that must be mastered by each individual. Individuals who have the ability and expertise in reading and writing tend to have critical, creative and innovative thinking. Every individual has different reading and writing abilities. A person's ability to read and write is influenced by the environment in which he grows up. Each country has a different level of interest in reading. Reading and writing are parts of life that cannot be separated. Reading and writing are like keys to open the door to civilization in a society. In our nation's culture, reading and writing have become a part of every part of Indonesian society's life. However, in reality, currently Indonesia is faced with low public interest in reading. Here I will explain why reading and writing are very important in encouraging the progress of a nation.
