Breastfeeding should ideally begin immediately after birth and be provided exclusively for the first six months of life. However, in 2022, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding among infants aged 0–6 months in Jayapura was only 21%, which remains far below the national target of 45%. Various factors contribute to this low coverage, including limited knowledge, lack of experience, insufficient support systems, and concerns among adolescent mothers that breastfeeding may interfere with their education or employment. This study aimed to explore the breastfeeding experiences of adolescent mothers in Wahno Village, Abepura Subdistrict. A qualitative research design was used, with structured interviews conducted using a questionnaire. The results indicated that the initiation of exclusive breastfeeding among adolescent mothers was generally positive. Participants reported mixed emotional experiences, including feelings of happiness, pride, stress, and discomfort. Family support, particularly from husbands, played an important role in sustaining breastfeeding practices. Most respondents also demonstrated adequate knowledge regarding how to manage breastfeeding-related challenges. Overall, adolescent mothers in Wahno Village showed a reasonable level of understanding and commitment toward exclusive breastfeeding. Continued education and support are recommended to further strengthen breastfeeding practices among adolescent mothers and their families.

Children with special needs, particularly those with intellectual disabilities, often experience difficulties in emotional development, communication skills, and social interaction. These conditions may make it challenging for them to express their feelings, regulate their emotions, and adapt to their surroundings. Based on observations conducted at SLBN Pembina Kupang, several children were found to be easily angered, lacking in self-confidence, and experiencing difficulties in social interaction. The implementation of this program consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The program began with coordination with the school, the preparation of coloring materials and equipment, and the selection of participants. Subsequently, the children participated in play therapy through coloring activities under the guidance of the service team and teachers. Evaluation was carried out by observing the children's participation, changes in emotional expression, and social interaction skills throughout the activities. The results showed that play therapy through coloring activities had a positive impact on the children's emotional development. The children became calmer, more confident, and better able to express their feelings. In addition, the activities helped improve their social skills, cooperation, concentration, discipline, and fine motor skills. Therefore, play therapy through coloring activities can serve as an effective, simple, and sustainable intervention to support the emotional development of children with special needs at SLBN Pembina Kupang.

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a stage of education that plays a crucial role in maximizing children's cognitive, social-emotional, motor skills, and creativity growth at their peak developmental stage. Children aged three to six learn efficiently through play, hands-on exploration, and interaction with their surroundings. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of loose parts media based on natural materials as a means to stimulate creativity in early childhood at PAUD Pelita Mandiri Kertek. This study adopted a descriptive qualitative approach and utilized data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, and documentation of children's work. The main focus of this study was on the use of various natural materials, such as corn cobs, twigs, pebbles, and leaves, in play and learning activities. The results showed that loose parts media using natural materials can enhance children's creativity by improving problem-solving skills, strengthening verbal skills in expressing ideas and telling stories about their work, and supporting independent learning because children are actively involved in the educational process. The open-ended nature of the materials allows children to explore and express their ideas freely, thus creating a learning atmosphere full of creativity, innovation, and fun. The implications of this research indicate that the use of loose parts media based on natural materials can be an alternative learning method that is not only effective, but also economical and easy to implement to support the development of children's creativity, independence, and thinking skills, in line with the principles of child-centered learning.

This study examines how parents can serve as role models in fostering the spiritual growth of their adolescents. Parents play a fundamental role in shaping their children's character and faith by providing positive examples that adolescents can imitate in their daily lives. Spiritual growth during adolescence is particularly important because it serves as a strong foundation for their future faith, values, and moral development. The purpose of this study is to explore how parental role modeling influences adolescents' spiritual growth. This research employed a qualitative methodology using a library research approach. Relevant books, journal articles, theological literature, and other scholarly references were analyzed to examine theories and concepts related to parental roles and adolescent spiritual formation. The findings indicate that effective parental role modeling is demonstrated through words, behavior, love, faithfulness, integrity, and purity, which encourage adolescents to develop a deeper relationship with God and practice Christian values consistently. The study concludes that parents should actively model faith in everyday life as an essential part of educating their adolescents. By becoming living examples of Christian values, parents can significantly contribute to nurturing adolescents' spiritual maturity and strengthening their commitment to a lifelong life of faith.

The impact of sighar marriage on the younger generation from the perspective of Islamic law, social, and psychological. The main problem raised is the practice of marriage without dowry which places women as objects of exchange, thus ignoring their rights and causing the invalidity of the contract according to a number of scholars. The purpose of this study is to analyze the social, legal, and religious consequences of sighar marriage and its implications on the formation of children's identity and family resilience. The research method uses a literature study with a normative-comparative approach, referring to classical fiqh literature, hadith, and contemporary academic studies that compare the views of the Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali, and Hanafi schools. The results of the study show that nikah syighar has an impact on the neglect of women's rights, the normalization of objectification, household instability, the crisis of children's identity, and the weakening of family institutions. In addition, this practice is contrary to maqasid al-shari'ah, thus undermining the sacred value of marriage as worship and a means of moral development. These findings underscore the need for Islamic family law regulation and education to protect the younger generation from the practice of illegal and harmful marriage.

Child support rights after divorce constitute a fundamental right that must be protected to ensure children's welfare and development. However, many children do not receive adequate financial support because parents, particularly fathers, fail to fulfill their obligations after divorce. This study aims to analyze the legal regulation of child support rights after divorce and examine the legal protection available when these rights are neglected. The research employs normative legal research using statutory and conceptual approaches. Legal materials were collected through library research, including legislation, legal literature, scholarly journals, and relevant court decisions. The findings show that Indonesian law provides a comprehensive legal framework through the Marriage Law, the Child Protection Law, and the Compilation of Islamic Law, all of which affirm that divorce does not terminate parental responsibilities. Under Islamic law, the obligation to provide child support remains with the father. Legal protection is available through civil and criminal mechanisms, including enforcement claims and criminal liability for child abandonment. However, weak law enforcement, limited supervision of court decisions, and low legal awareness continue to hinder effective protection. Strengthening enforcement, increasing legal awareness, and enhancing state involvement are essential to ensure the fulfillment of child support rights after divorce.

Divorce is an increasing social reality within Christian congregations, including in Indonesia, bringing profound psychological, social, and spiritual impacts while simultaneously presenting serious challenges for the church's pastoral ministry. This article examines the theological foundation and practical approaches in pastoral accompaniment for congregation members experiencing divorce, employing library research methodology within a pastoral theology framework. The study reveals that the church is called to be present not as a judge, but as a healing, supportive, and restoring community. Effective pastoral accompaniment encompasses empathetic pastoral counseling, a compassionate congregational community, intentional attention to affected children, and a long-term restoration commitment rooted in Gospel grace. The church is called to move beyond stigmatization toward genuine acceptance of wounded individuals, reflecting the redemptive love of Christ. This article concludes that the church's response to divorce must balance biblical integrity with deep compassion, affirming both the sanctity of marriage and the dignity of broken individuals. Thus, the church can become a safe space for every congregation member to experience genuine restoration and rediscover hope in Christ.

This study aims to analyze the discrepancy between regulations and social realities in fulfilling the right to education in Indonesia. Normatively, the state has established a strong legal framework to guarantee the right to education, as stipulated in the 1945 Constitution and various educational policies. However, in practice, there remains a significant gap between policy and actual conditions in society. This research employs a qualitative approach using a juridical-normative method combined with an empirical (sociological) approach. Data were collected through library research from various sources, including laws and regulations, academic journals, and reports from official institutions. The findings indicate that the discrepancy is reflected in three main aspects: unequal distribution of educational facilities, disparities in the quality of education, and the existence of children who have not accessed education. These issues are influenced by factors such as limited infrastructure, unequal distribution of teachers, geographical challenges, and socio-economic conditions. Therefore, it can be concluded that the fulfillment of the right to education in Indonesia has not been fully optimal due to ineffective and non-adaptive policy implementation. Hence, more comprehensive and contextual efforts are required to achieve an equitable, inclusive, and accessible education system for all.

Background: Stunting remains one of the public health problems that requires early prevention through health education and growth monitoring in children under five years old. Lack of parental knowledge regarding balanced nutrition, child feeding practices, hygiene, and routine physical examination can increase the risk of growth disorders in toddlers. Purpose: Physical examination in toddlers is important to identify early signs of growth and developmental problems, including body weight, height or length, nutritional status, and general physical condition. Method: This community service activity was conducted face-to-face using health education, discussion, and direct physical examination methods. The stages of activity included preparation, delivery of educational materials about stunting, physical examination of toddlers, recording the results, and providing simple counseling to parents. Results: The activity showed that mothers were enthusiastic in participating in counseling and toddler physical examination. Before the education was given, several mothers still had limited understanding about the causes, impacts, and prevention of stunting. After the activity, mothers began to understand the importance of balanced nutrition, routine weighing, height measurement, immunization, hygiene, and regular visits to posyandu or health facilities. Conclusion: Education about stunting and physical examination of toddlers can increase parental awareness regarding early prevention of growth disorders. This activity is useful in encouraging families to monitor toddler growth regularly and implement healthy childcare practices.

Child marriage remains a significant issue negatively impacting the health and quality of the younger generation, particularly through the increased risk of stunting in children. This article discusses the results of an educational outreach titled “Marriage Is Not Just About Legality: Legal Education on Marriage Dispensation and Its Implications for Stunting Prevention Among Students,” conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Parepare. The outreach aimed to raise students’ awareness about the relationship between minimum marriage age, marriage dispensation, and the health impacts on children, especially the risk of stunting. The methods employed included deconstruction, brainstorming, material delivery, reconstruction, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test assessments. Results demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ understanding from both medical and legal perspectives. The discussion focused on analyzing the contradictory legal norms regarding minimum marriage age and marriage dispensation, which frequently lead to implementation challenges. This outreach underscores the importance of integrating legal education and reproductive health as a preventive strategy to reduce child marriage and prevent stunting. Consequently, the program contributes to shaping a healthy, legally aware younger generation capable of making mature and responsible marriage decisions.

Cognitive development is an important aspect of early childhood growth because it forms the foundation for children’s abilities to think, remember, understand concepts, solve problems, and make decisions. Early childhood is often referred to as the golden age since development occurs very rapidly during this period, requiring appropriate stimulation from the surrounding environment, particularly the family. In this context, parents play a crucial role through the parenting styles they apply in daily life. This study aims to examine the relationship between parenting styles and early childhood cognitive development based on findings from previous research. The method used is a narrative review by analyzing relevant scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2026. Articles that met the inclusion criteria were then analyzed descriptively to identify the relationship between parenting styles and children’s cognitive development. The results of the review of 15 selected articles indicate that there is a significant relationship between parenting styles and early childhood cognitive development. Authoritative parenting emerged as the most consistently positive style, characterized by effective communication, emotional support, balanced supervision, and opportunities for children to develop independent thinking skills. Other factors, such as parents’ educational level, involvement in children’s learning activities, and a supportive learning environment, also contribute to cognitive development. In conclusion, authoritative parenting is considered the most effective approach in supporting optimal cognitive development in early childhood.

This study analyzes the minimum age of marriage in Islamic jurisprudence and compares it with the positive law regulations in Indonesia and Malaysia. Using a normative legal method with comparative and conceptual approaches, the study draws on primary sources, including the Qur'an, hadith, Law Number 16 of 2019 on Marriage in Indonesia, and the Islamic Family Law (Federal Territories) Act 1984 in Malaysia. The analysis focuses on how Islamic legal principles concerning marriage eligibility are interpreted and incorporated into contemporary legal frameworks in both countries. The findings reveal that Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) associates marital readiness with the concept of baligh (puberty) without prescribing a specific numerical age, whereas state law establishes fixed minimum age requirements to safeguard the rights and welfare of women and children. Indonesia sets the minimum marriage age at 19 years for both males and females, while Malaysia prescribes 18 years for males and 16 years for females, with judicial dispensation available in both jurisdictions under certain circumstances. These legal arrangements demonstrate each country's effort to harmonize classical Islamic jurisprudence with contemporary social protection objectives through institutional ijtihad, reflecting a balance between religious principles, legal certainty, and public welfare in regulating marriage.

Introduction: Febrile seizures are seizure episodes that occur due to an increase in body temperature above 38°C without evidence of central nervous system infection such as meningitis or encephalitis. In Indonesia, the prevalence of febrile seizures is approximately 2–5% among children aged 6 months to 3 years, and around 30% of these cases experience recurrence or recurrent febrile seizures. Therefore, an appropriate nursing care plan is required to manage patients with febrile seizures. Methods: This scientific paper employed a descriptive narrative method to illustrate the provision of nursing care to patients through the nursing process approach. The general objective of this study was to understand and implement nursing care for patients with febrile seizures. Results: The nursing diagnoses identified in patients with febrile seizures were hyperthermia, risk for injury, and knowledge deficit. Nursing interventions included hyperthermia management, safety management, and health education. Conclusion: After two days of nursing implementation, two nursing diagnoses were resolved and one was partially resolved. Discharge planning included monitoring the patient's condition, particularly for seizure signs, maintaining a safe environment, educating the family about injury prevention during seizures, and encouraging family members to continuously supervise the patient.

Nutritional problems among school-age children remain an important challenge in human resource development in Indonesia. Adequate nutritional status is essential for supporting physical growth, cognitive development, learning achievement, and future productivity. Schools play a strategic role in promoting children's health through nutritional monitoring and educational interventions, particularly during the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG). This community service activity aimed to monitor students’ nutritional status and strengthen awareness of the importance of nutrition as a foundation for human resource development. The activity was conducted on April 5–6, 2026, at SD Negeri 09 Jambi City and involved 261 students from grades I to III. A school-based assistance approach was implemented through anthropometric measurements, including body weight and height assessments, followed by balanced nutrition education. The findings revealed that 77.0% of students had normal nutritional status, while 8.8% were undernourished, 9.6% were overweight, and 4.6% were classified as obese. The activity also increased school awareness regarding the importance of continuous nutritional monitoring and evidence-based health management. These findings suggest that school-based nutritional monitoring can support the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program and serve as an initial effort to strengthen human resource development by fostering healthier, more productive, and higher-quality future generations.

This article theologically analyzes the role of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers through a study of the doctrine of pneumatology, traced from the testimony of Scripture to its impact on the practice of Christian faith. The purpose of this study is to explain how the work of the Holy Spirit is understood not merely as a theological concept, but also as a spiritual reality that shapes the identity, character, and dynamics of believers’ service. The method employed is qualitative research with a library research approach, involving the analysis of relevant theological and biblical sources to construct a conceptual framework concerning the work of the Holy Spirit in guidance, conviction, the sealing of salvation, spiritual transformation, and empowerment in ministry. This research is necessary because there remains a limited understanding of pneumatology that tends to be doctrinal and disconnected from concrete faith experiences. The findings of this study indicate that the presence of the Holy Spirit plays a vital role in leading believers into truth, forming Christian character, strengthening their identity as children of God, and empowering them to serve effectively within the community. Therefore, pneumatology holds significant practical relevance in fostering a dynamic, reflective, and transformative life of faith in the contemporary Christian context.
