This study aims to examine the effect of the use of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as part of digital payment instruments on the personal financial management of employees at PT. Alkana Diza Nusantara in the era of a cashless society. The rapid development of financial technology has encouraged a shift in transaction behavior from cash to cashless systems, making it important to understand its impact on individual financial management more comprehensively. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative research design to analyze the relationship between variables. The population consists of 42 employees, with total sampling used as the sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques include classical assumption tests, simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²) to measure the extent of the independent variable’s influence on the dependent variable. The results show that the use of QRIS has a positive and significant effect on personal financial management. This is evidenced by a regression coefficient of 0.923 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.735 indicates that QRIS usage explains 73.5% of the variation in personal financial management, while the remaining 26.5% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study. These findings suggest that digital payment usage can enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and discipline of individual financial management

The digitalization of payment systems constitutes an integral part of economic digital transformation, driving a shift in transactions from cash-based to technology-based cashless payments. In Indonesia, this digitalization is manifested through the development of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) by Bank Indonesia as a national standard for QR code–based payments. Along with its development, QRIS has not only been used in domestic transactions but has also been implemented in cross-border transactions through intercountry payment system cooperation, particularly within the ASEAN region. However, the rapid expansion of QRIS has not been accompanied by comprehensive and structured legal regulation. This study aims to analyze the structure and hierarchy of QRIS regulation within Indonesia’s payment system as well as the forms of legal protection for consumers in cross-border QRIS transactions. The research employs a normative juridical method using statutory, historical, and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that QRIS does not yet have a Bank Indonesia Regulation as a primary regulatory framework and is regulated solely through a Regulation of Members of the Board of Governors, which hierarchically functions as an implementing regulation. Consequently, QRIS regulation refers to several different Bank Indonesia Regulations, resulting in regulatory fragmentation. This condition has implications for legal uncertainty and the suboptimal legal protection of consumers in cross-border QRIS transactions.

The development of information and communication technology has significantly transformed the way people conduct financial transactions. One prominent shift is the transition from cash-based transactions to non-cash payment systems, commonly referred to as a cashless society. The core concept of a cashless society relies on transactions conducted through electronic payment instruments. This study aims to examine the challenges and readiness of the Fakfak Regency community in navigating the transition toward a cashless society. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through surveys and in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, including the general public, local government, financial institutions, and local business actors. Most existing studies on cashless society predominantly focus on urban areas and regions with well-developed digital infrastructure. This research offers novelty by exploring the challenges and readiness of communities in Fakfak Regency, one of the 3T (frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged) regions in West Papua, characterized by limited digital infrastructure, low financial literacy, and a significant digital divide. Data analysis was carried out using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to identify factors influencing the adoption of non-cash payment technologies. The findings indicate that the community in Fakfak Regency is not yet fully prepared for a cashless society. The region remains in the early stages of adopting non-cash transactions and faces various obstacles, including limited technological capability and insufficient infrastructure to support improvements in financial and digital literacy. This study provides important contributions by presenting an empirical picture of cashless adoption in a 3T region and offers valuable insights for developing more inclusive, adaptive, and contextually appropriate policies for the local transition toward a cashless society.

Digital transformation in Indonesia's financial sector has accelerated the adoption of cashless payment systems, with QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as the main innovation since its introduction by Bank Indonesia in 2019. Generation Z, as a digital native group, is the dominant user of QRIS due to their preference for fast, practical, and connected services. This study aims to empirically analyze the influence of lifestyle, ease of use, trust, and financial attitudes on the decision to use QRIS by Generation Z in Bogor Regency, as well as test the role of financial literacy as a moderation variable. The research approach uses quantitative methods through inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that only the variables of ease of use and financial attitude had a significant effect on the decision to use QRIS, with a significance value of < 0.05 and t calculated > t table. These findings reinforce the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) model, which emphasizes the importance of the perception of convenience in driving the adoption of digital payment technology. Meanwhile, the variables of lifestyle and trust did not have a significant effect, which may be due to the level of general trust that has been formed in QRIS and the digital lifestyle of respondents who have not fully developed. These results confirm the need to develop a more intuitive user experience and increase education related to digital financial literacy to strengthen the sustainable use of QRIS among Generation Z.

This community service program was carried out by students of Universitas Pelita Bangsa in Karangsetia Village, Karang Bahagia District, Bekasi Regency, as a concrete effort to strengthen the capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in facing the challenges of digitalization. MSMEs in this area still encounter various obstacles, such as the absence of formal business legality, limited understanding of branding strategies, and minimal utilization of digital technology for both marketing and payment systems. These conditions have weakened business competitiveness and hindered the growth of local enterprises. The program focused on three interrelated aspects: legal compliance, brand development, and digital adoption. Business legality was facilitated through the issuance of the Business Identification Number (NIB), which provides legal certainty while granting access to government programs and financial institutions. Branding was strengthened by designing logos, banners, and simple promotional media to enhance business identity, professionalism, and consumer appeal. Digitalization was promoted through business registration on Google Maps to improve visibility, and the adoption of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as a cashless payment method that is efficient, secure, and widely accepted. The methods employed included observation, socialization, mentoring, and participatory evaluation with business owners. The results demonstrated significant progress, as most MSMEs successfully obtained legal registration, adopted QRIS in daily transactions, registered their businesses on Google Maps, and developed clearer visual identities. This program had a positive impact by increasing entrepreneurial confidence, expanding market reach, and fostering awareness of the importance of digital transformation. Overall, the community service program contributed to strengthening the competitiveness, sustainability, and independence of MSMEs in Karangsetia Village, while supporting the development of the local economy.

This study investigates the impact of cashless payment technologies, specifically e-toll and Garda Total Objek (GTO), on customer satisfaction and travel efficiency on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road. The research demonstrates that the implementation of these technologies significantly enhances travel time efficiency and overall user satisfaction, providing a more seamless and convenient toll payment experience. Despite these positive outcomes, the study identifies several technical challenges that hinder optimal performance. Notably, there is an 18% transaction failure rate, primarily caused by malfunctions in card reader devices and server disruptions, which negatively affect the customer experience. In addition to technological reliability, the quality of service delivered by field staff and the degree of customer loyalty emerge as critical factors influencing sustained use of the digital payment system and overall satisfaction levels. The study underscores the importance of time efficiency and customer loyalty as key drivers for improving service quality and encouraging the widespread adoption of cashless systems. To address these challenges, the study recommends enhancing the reliability of payment devices and network infrastructure through regular maintenance and upgrades. Furthermore, the adoption of Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) technology is suggested to allow toll transactions without stopping, thereby reducing traffic congestion and waiting times at toll plazas. Continuous staff training is essential to improve service response and technical troubleshooting. Additionally, customer loyalty programs offering incentives like discounts and rewards could increase user engagement. The study also emphasizes the need for increased public education on cashless payment systems and their features to minimize resistance and misunderstandings. Finally, ongoing monitoring and evaluation based on user feedback are critical for promptly addressing issues and sustainably improving customer satisfaction.

Along with the rapid advancement of digital technology, the practice of zakat payment has also evolved, such as by making non-cash zakat payments online. Online zakat payment offers the potential to reach zakat givers and recipients more broadly, as well as to increase efficiency in the collection and distribution of zakat funds through a digital system. However, this online zakat payment system still raises debates among the public regarding the validity of its implementation and the law, which is considered unclear because the method was not found in the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Therefore, this research was conducted to examine the concept, Islamic legal review, advantages and disadvantages, as well as challenges and solutions in the application of the online non-cash zakat payment system from the perspective of Islamic law. This research uses normative legal methods in qualitative form and by conducting a literature study of literature or library materials. The findings of this research show that online non-cash zakat payments are sharia-acceptable as long as they fulfill the pillars and conditions of zakat and are carried out by official amil zakat institutions or platforms affiliated with amil zakat institutions.

The issue of illegal parking in Batam City has become a serious concern, where unofficial parking attendants often collect fees from drivers without contributing to the local government. This situation not only disrupts order and security but also harms local revenue (PAD). Illegal parking practices create discomfort for the public and reduce trust in the existing parking system. Moreover, it hinders the optimization of PAD potential that should be generated from a well-organized and orderly parking system. This research aims to develop a technological solution to address this issue by creating an Android application called Fast Parking System. The application is designed to improve parking system efficiency through a fast, secure, and transparent cashless payment system. By using this application, drivers can pay for parking digitally, reducing direct interaction with parking attendants and minimizing the potential for illegal fees. The application is also integrated with an official surveillance system, allowing local authorities to monitor parking activities in real-time and ensure that parking fees are directed to the local treasury. It is expected that the implementation of Fast Parking System will create a more orderly, safe, and efficient parking system. With this solution, the local government can not only increase transparency but also optimize revenue from the parking sector. In addition, the application offers greater convenience for the public in using well-managed parking facilities. The findings from this research can serve as a useful reference for the Batam City Government and other cities in Indonesia facing similar illegal parking issues. It can also be used as a guideline for developing more efficient and modern technology-based parking systems.
