This study aims to analyze the feasibility of vannamei shrimp farming in Kramat District, Tegal Regency. The research was conducted on several shrimp ponds using semi-intensive and intensive systems. The analysis includes calculations of investment costs, fixed and variable costs, revenues, income, and business feasibility indicators such as R/C Ratio, Payback Period, Break Even Point (BEP), Net Present Value (NPV), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The results show that vannamei shrimp farming is feasible, as indicated by an average R/C Ratio of 1.68 and a Payback Period of 1.90. All ponds yielded positive NPV values, with an average of IDR 546,070,598 and an IRR of 58%, which exceeds the 5.5% discount rate. Both price and production BEP values have been surpassed in all farming units. The intensive pond system proved to be more profitable than the semi-intensive system. Therefore, vannamei shrimp farming in Kramat District, particularly in Dampyak Village, has strong financial prospects and is feasible for development through intensive approaches and the application of modern technology.

Processing coconut into copra is an important strategy to increase value added and farmers’ income in rural areas. However, traditional copra processing businesses often face problems such as price fluctuations, high production costs, and limited understanding of business feasibility analysis. This study aims to analyze the value added and business feasibility of copra processing in Bone Regency, specifically in Tellusiattinge District, Ulo Village. The study was conducted from September to October 2025 using a descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research population consisted of 15 copra processing entrepreneurs, all of whom were selected as respondents using a census technique. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis included production cost analysis, income analysis, value added analysis using the Hayami method, and business feasibility analysis using the Revenue Cost Ratio. The results showed that the average value added from processing coconut into copra was Rp2,100 per kilogram with a value added ratio of 37.5 percent, which falls into the medium category. The average Revenue Cost Ratio of 1.35 indicates that the copra processing business is feasible and profitable to operate. The findings imply that copra processing has the potential to increase farmers’ income and rural economic development, therefore requiring support in improving production efficiency and adopting better processing technologies to enhance value added.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia’s economy, yet their failure rate remains high due to weak business planning and the absence of systematic feasibility studies. University business incubator laboratories are expected to assist prospective entrepreneurs in conducting comprehensive feasibility analyses, but evaluations are often performed manually and subjectively. This study aims to design a Business Feasibility Information System to support business incubator laboratories in achieving more objective, efficient, and documented assessments. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, encompassing stages of requirement analysis, system design, and conceptual validation. The system is designed to evaluate four key aspects of business feasibility: market, production, human resources, and finance. The result is a conceptual system prototype that integrates all aspects into a unified assessment framework. The findings indicate that the proposed system enhances the effectiveness of incubator laboratories in evaluating and assisting tenants objectively while fostering digital entrepreneurship literacy. The study implies that information technology integration is essential for strengthening MSME sustainability and decision-making in Indonesia.

The growing demand for organic fertilizers as an alternative to chemical fertilizers is in line with increasing public awareness of environmentally friendly agriculture. Meanwhile, livestock waste, particularly rabbit urine, remains underutilized and is often discarded, despite its high nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium content and potential as a raw material for liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). This study aims to design and develop a simple technological innovation for processing rabbit urine into economically valuable LOF, offering new business opportunities for local communities. Another objective is to advance bioactivator-based processing technology to produce an effective, marketable, and eco-friendly organic fertilizer that enhances plant growth. The research employed an applied research method with an experimental approach, including collection and processing of rabbit urine, simple production of LOF, effectiveness testing on horticultural crops with local farmers, and analysis of business feasibility and local marketing strategies. The study resulted in a simple bioactivator-based technology for converting rabbit urine into LOF through a fermentation process of more than 14 days, producing fertilizer rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The LOF improved horticultural crop growth by 25–30% compared to control plants. The group business model provides livestock farmers with new business opportunities, achieving profit margins between 40% and 50%. This research produced a replicable technology guide and usable LOF product, contributing to waste reduction and supporting sustainable agriculture through community-based entrepreneurship.

This study aims to determine the income and feasibility of sago processing business in Andabia Village, Anggaberi District, Konawe Regency. The research was carried out in March 2025 using the purposive sampling method, based on the consideration that the sago processing business has long been the main livelihood of the local community. The sample was taken by census of 13 respondents. Data analysis using revenue model I = TR - TC and business feasibility analysis with an R/C = TR / TC ratio approach. The results of the study show that in one sago processing process, the total revenue reaches IDR 18,000,000, while the total cost is IDR 7,863,269. Thus, the net income obtained by sago processors is IDR 10,136,731. The business feasibility analysis shows an R/C ratio value of 2.29, which means that every expenditure of IDR 1 generates IDR 2.29 in revenue. The R/C value > 1 indicates that the sago processing business in the region is profitable and feasible to be developed. These findings provide a basis for strengthening the local economy through optimizing the sago business as a sustainable source of income. This study also recommends policy support and technical training to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of sago processing businesses in the area.

This study aims to evaluate the financial feasibility of tempeh production using genetically modified soybeans (Genetically Modified Organisms/GMO) at the Annisa Tempe Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in Kubu Raya Regency. GMO soybeans are the preferred choice for the business owner due to their stable availability and lower price compared to local soybeans. This research employs a case study approach and utilizes investment feasibility analysis methods, including Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C). The results show that the business yields an NPV of IDR 779,241,805, an IRR of 20.82%, and a Net B/C of 78.92. These indicators demonstrate that the GMO-based tempeh business at Annisa Tempe MSME is highly feasible from a financial perspective. The study also identifies key challenges such as competition in traditional markets and highlights opportunities through direct distribution and stable raw material supply. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for MSME actors, academics, and policymakers in developing sustainable GMO-based local food businesses.
