This study examines the semantic aspects of the poetry anthology Penyair Tanpa Bait by Ahmad Zayn, a contemporary poetic work characterized by free structure and the absence of conventional stanzas. The background of this research is rooted in the need to understand how meaning is constructed in modern poetry that departs from traditional poetic forms. The objective of this study is to describe and analyze lexical, grammatical, and referential meanings contained in the poems in order to reveal their overall semantic structure. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a semantic analysis approach. The data consist of words, phrases, and poetic lines selected from the anthology, which are analyzed through stages of data identification, classification, and interpretation of meaning. The findings indicate that the poems predominantly utilize lexical meanings as the foundation of interpretation, while grammatical structures and referential meanings function to strengthen symbolic and contextual meanings. The absence of stanza divisions encourages a continuous flow of meaning that emphasizes semantic cohesion rather than formal structure. The implications of this study contribute to the field of linguistic and literary studies by enriching semantic analysis of contemporary Indonesian poetry and providing a framework for interpreting non-conventional poetic texts.

This study aims to analyze the representation of character values within the Eight Dimensions of Graduate Profiles aligned with the vision of the Pancasila Student Profile in Amalia Najichah’s poems from the anthology Surat dari Samudera (Letters from the Ocean). The research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis, complemented by stylistic and literary reception theories. The data consist of six poems analyzed based on eight character dimensions: Faith and Piety to God Almighty, Citizenship, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Independence, Health, and Communication. The findings reveal that all poems reflect these character values, with Citizenship and Collaboration as the most dominant dimensions. Stylistic analysis shows that the use of repetition, metaphor, and onomatopoeia not only enhances aesthetic quality but also reinforces moral and social messages. Meanwhile, reception theory analysis indicates that young readers can internalize these values cognitively, affectively, and socially through reflective and contextual reading experiences. The study concludes that youth poetry has strong potential as an effective medium for character education in the Merdeka Curriculum, both in intracurricular and co-curricular contexts. Therefore, Amalia Najichah’s works serve not only as aesthetic expressions of adolescence but also as strategic instruments for shaping a faithful, independent, collaborative, and Pancasila-oriented generation.

This study aims to describe the form and function of negation elements in the syntactic structure of Chairil Anwar's poetry anthology. The research method is descriptive qualitative with linguistic approach. The data sources are poetry texts by Chairil Anwar consisting of nine titles of Chairil Anwar's poems: Aku, Diponegoro, Karawang-Bekasi, Derai-Derai Cemara, Senja di Pelabuhan Kecil, Cintaku Jauh di Pulau, Hampa, Tak Sepadan and Siap Sedia. The data was collected using the documentation method, namely reading and scrutinizing the poetry texts to identify sentences that contain negation elements. The data found were then recorded and classified based on the form and location of the negation element in the syntactic structure of the sentence. Data analysis was conducted through several stages, namely: 1) identifying negation elements (all word/phrase elements containing negation elements in the poem); 2) classifying negation forms based on their types such as not, not, none, yet or don't; 3) analyzing syntactic structure (how the negation element functions in the syntactic structure, whether in predicate, subject, object or adverb; 4) interpreting the meaning and semantic and stylistic functions of negation elements in the context of the whole poem. To maintain data validity, this research uses theoretical triangulation by referring to various linguistic references (especially syntax and semantics) as well as previous studies on Chairil Anwar's poetry. In addition, data validation is done through cross-checking between readers on the results of identification and analysis. The results show that the element of negation plays a central role in shaping the syntactic structure, meaning and ideological and emotional character of his poetry.

This study focuses on the symbolic meanings embedded in the use of figurative language in the poetry anthology Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Puisi by Joko Pinurbo. The research utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, with semiotic analysis serving as the theoretical foundation. The purpose of this study is to examine how the figurative language used in the poems contributes to conveying deeper symbolic meanings, beyond their role as mere rhetorical devices. The findings of this research reveal that the figurative language within the poems plays a significant symbolic role in expressing complex themes such as inner suffering, memories, identity, alienation, and the quest for the meaning of life. Symbols like 'storm,' 'refrigerator,' 'dusk,' 'window,' 'door,' 'river,' and others are employed to represent abstract concepts, providing a more nuanced understanding of the human experience. The study identifies various types of figurative language, including metaphor, simile, personification, hyperbole, synecdoche, paradox, and irony. Each of these elements serves to enrich the meaning of the poems, adding layers of depth to the interpretation and enhancing the aesthetic experience for the reader. Through these figurative expressions, the poet effectively invites the reader to engage with both the emotional and intellectual dimensions of the poetry. This research emphasizes how Joko Pinurbo's use of figurative language transcends its traditional ornamental function, making it a powerful tool for conveying complex symbolic and existential themes. By analyzing the symbolic meanings in the poems, this study contributes to a deeper appreciation of the interplay between language, meaning, and emotion in contemporary Indonesian poetry.

This study discusses the symbolic meaning contained in the use of figurative language in the poetry anthology Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Puisi by Joko Pinurbo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a semiotic analysis method as a theoretical basis, which allows researchers to interpret the signs and symbols in the poetic texts in depth. The results of the study show that the figurative language in the poems does not only function as rhetorical decoration or mere linguistic ornamentation, but has a strong and essential symbolic function in conveying hidden messages and the poet's inner emotions. Symbols such as "storm", "refrigerator", "twilight", "window", "door", "river", and others are not only concrete images, but convey deep meanings related to inner suffering, past memories, the search for self-identity, feelings of alienation, and the search for the universal meaning of life. In addition, this study also identifies various types of figurative language used by Joko Pinurbo in the anthology, including metaphor, simile, personification, hyperbole, synecdoche, paradox, and irony. All types of figurative language are skillfully used to enrich the meaning of poetry and deepen the aesthetic experience of readers, allowing them to feel and reproduce the messages hidden behind the words. Thus, this study confirms that the use of figurative language in poetry is not only a literary technique, but also a powerful medium of expression and a means of communicating complex meanings in modern literary works. This study aims to describe the physical structure in the poetry collection Doa untuk Anak Cucu (Prayer for Children and Grandchildren) by W.S. Rendra. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a content analysis approach. The data analyzed are the lines of poetry in the anthology. In-depth, this thesis analyzes the physical structure of the poems in ten selected works from the Doa untuk Anak Cucu collection by W.S. Rendra. The analysis focuses on seven elements of the physical structure of the poems: diction, imagery, figurative language, concrete words, typography, rhyme, and rhythm. The results show that the poet employs various strategies in selecting and arranging the physical elements of the poems. The diction chosen is highly diverse, with a total of 192 words across the ten poems. Imagery, which is strong and present in every poem, amounts to 161 images throughout the collection, creating vivid mental pictures for the reader. Figurative language such as metaphor, simile, and personification is used effectively to enrich the meaning and beauty of the poems, with 152 instances of figurative language identified in the study. The carefully chosen concrete words help readers visualize the objects and events described, with 121 concrete words found in this thesis. The typography used is also varied, with the arrangement of words and lines intentionally set to create specific rhythmic and visual effects. Rhyme and rhythm in the poems create a distinct harmony and musicality. This thesis identifies 121 rhymes and 170 rhythms.

Poetry is a type of literary work that expresses the emotions, ideas and contents of the poet's heart. Poetry usually expresses its contents using linguistic types. The aim of this research is to provide a detailed description of the language style used in the poetry anthology book 16 Poets Embrace the Earth. A qualitative descriptive approach was used. The book 16 Poets Hugging the Earth by Rayakultura was used as the data source. Data collection methods, including collecting and examining written data on poetry, were used to conduct data analysis. Data reduction is also used in processing the data to classify and identify the language styles contained in the poetry. The results of the research show that the poetry in the book 16 Poets Hugging the Earth contains several language styles, namely the group of comparative and contradictory language styles. The several language styles found in the poem aim to move society to prioritize caring for and protecting the environment.

This study use a qualitative approach with the type of case study in Sekolah Penggerak SMP Bilingual Terpadu Junwangi Krian Sidoarjo. As for the data collection tehniques, used observation,interview and documentation tehniques. The stages in the data analysis use the stage of condensing data analysis,data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, checking the validity the data is through. Participation extensions source triangulation and technical triangulation. The result of this study are 1) The teaching materials LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) name’s ‘Alima arranged by crew MGMPS,The books have ISBN  from self publish of institution “Bendera Al Amanah Pers”, review, poetry, anthology, class mading and outdoor mading; 2) The education report, design budget of school, build the literacy organizational structure ,meeting literacy team and MGMPS Indonesia teacher and the literacy cost; 3) Organizing with literacy organization structure,The coordinator has responsibility wih headmaster’ SK,The communication with students of OSIS; 4) The implicationts are giving facility in the library or out library, the student must visit library and give a present to active student,the school have library car,ISBN’s book Publish’Bendera Al Amanah Pers’and overseas book,the class mading,MGMPS mading,race in the school and outside,assessment team,daily literacy,monthly literacy,yearly literacy,start a bookfair,education repot of teacher and rew 5) ard; The evaluations with education instrument of national assessment and evaluation with intern meeting and big meeting.

Abstract The poem "Sergius Mencari Bacchus" by Norman Erikson Pasaribu which is the object of this research aims to describe things related to (1) the physical and mental structure of the poem "Sergius Mencari Bacchus", (2) aspects of Christian religiosity in the poem "Sergius Mencari Bacchus”. The data collection technique was based on the form of a part of one of the poems in the poetry anthology book "Sergius Mencari Bacchus". The analysis technique used is in the form of analysis and interpretation of the data which is the subject of the study, as well as the emphasis on analyzing the religious values ​​contained therein. The results of the study describe that there are six physical structures and four mental structures that are builders in the poem "Sergius Mencari Bacchus". There is also an explanation regarding each stanza in the poem "Sergius Mencari Bacchus" in relation to the value of Christian religiosity. With the research that has been done, new meanings and understandings have been found regarding the values ​​of Christian religiosity which are very strong in the poem. How can Indonesian society, which is predominantly Muslim, be unable to interpret the poem "Sergius Mencari Bacchus" and its relation to the history that happened to the two figures who are the object of the poem. Apart from being related to religious values, there are also historical values ​​that lie behind the story of the two figures.   Keywords: christianity, poetry, religiosity, inner structure, physical structure     Abstrak Puisi “Sergius Mencari Bacchus” karya Norman Erikson Pasaribu yang menjadi objek penelitian tersebut bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hal-hal terkait (1) struktur fisik dan batin puisi “Sergius Mencari Bacchus”, (2) aspek-aspek religiusitas Kristen dalam puisi “Sergius Mencari Bacchus”. Teknik pengumpulan data berdasar pada wujud bagian salah satu puisi dalam buku antologi puisi “Sergius Mencari Bacchus”. Teknik analisa yang digunakan berupa analisa dan juga pemaknaan terhadap data yang menjadi subjek kajiannya, serta penekanannya pada analisa nilai religiusitas yang terkandung didalamnya. Hasil penelitian menjabarkan adanya enam struktur fisik serta empat struktur batin pembangun dalam puisi “Sergius Mencari Bacchus”. Terdapat juga penjabaran terkait tiap bait dalam puisi “Sergius Mencari Bacchus” dalam kaitannya dengan nilai religiusitas Kristen. Dengan adanya penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan pemaknaan dan pemahaman baru terkait nilai religiusitas Kristen yang sangat kental dalam puisi tersebut. Bagaimana dalam masyarakat Indonesia yang mayoritas beragama Islam kurang dapat memaknai puisi “Sergius Mencari Bacchus” serta kaitannya dengan sejarah yang terjadi pada dua tokoh yang menjadi objek dari puisi tersebut. Selain terkait dengan nilai religiusitas terdapat juga nilai sejarah yang melatar belakangi penceritaan dua tokoh tersebut.   Kata kunci: kristen, puisi, religiusitas, struktur batin, struktur fisik

Morphology is a field of linguistics that studies morphemes and their combinations. Morphological objects are things related to word forms or word structures in language. In the study of morphology, there is a closed class and open class word classification. One of the closed class word classifications is conjunctions. Conjunctions are used to connect two or more clauses, both of which have a syntactic structure or have a different syntactic structure. The types of conjunctions include: coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions, and conjunctions between sentences. The choice of topics in this study was based on the finding of closed conjunction classes in the poetry anthology Sebatas Angan Rindu by Fina Af'idatussofa and Upik Lestari. The purpose of this research is to analyze and obtain a clear picture of closed classes of conjunctions, such as coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions, and conjunctions between sentences contained in the poetry anthology Sebatas Angan Rindu by Fina Af'idatussofa and Upik Lestari. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source used is the poetry anthology Sebatas Angan Rindu by Fina Af'idatussofa and Upik Lestari published by the QT Millennials Library in 2006 which can be accessed via the link https://aseranikurdi.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/antologi-puisi-sebatas-angan-rindu.pdf. This article discusses the poem “Kaleidoscope” by Salman Khairi Faras in the book: Anthology of Poetry of the Valley of Taste. The poem will be discussed by analyzing the style of language contained in the poem. This study uses a structural approach by analyzing the elements that build literary works from within. The method used in this research is a qualitative method by specifying poetry as a data source and research object. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of language style in the poem “Kaleidoscope” by Salman Khairi Faras in the book Anthology of Poems of Lembah Rasa.The benefits of this research are to provide insight to readers in terms of literary works, to become a source of reference for further research, and as a comparison for future researchers in developing relevant research. The results of this study indicate that the poem “Kaleidoscope” by Salman Khairi Faras in the book: Anthology of Poems of Lembah Rasa has several styles of language. The style of language is personification, association, hyperbole, metaphor and antonomasia. The dominant style of language in the poem “Kaleidoscope” by Salman Khairy Farras is personification, hyperbole and metaphor.

The purpose of this study was to describe the language style, meaning, and figure of speech contained in the book collection of poetry Perjamuan Khong Guan by Joko Pinurbo. The research approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approachThe data collection techniques used in this study were literature techniques and note-taking techniques in the form of words, phrases, lines, and poetry stanzas. The results of this study indicate that there are rhetorical and figurative language styles from the 10 poems that the researcher took. The style of language that often appears or is dominantly used in the collection of poetry Perjamuan Khong Guan by Joko Pinurbo is a figurative language style. The style of language is dominated by the use of language styles consisting of personification and metaphorical figure of speech.
