Surgery with spinal anesthesia techniques often causes complications such as hypothermia with shivering symptoms that can affect hemodynamics, one method of overcoming shivering is the provision of blanket warmers. Knowing the effect of blanked warmer on hemodynamics in shivering patients after spinal anesthesia in IBS RSUD dr.Tjitrowardojo Purworejo. This study used a type of quasi-experimental research with a pretest posttest control group design approach, sampling with purposive sampling. The research sample amounted to 30 respondents of post-spinal anesthesia patients. The results showed that there was an effect on hemodynamics as evidenced by the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test in the experimental group of blood pressure P value 0.001 and pulse 0.000 in the control group obtained p value 1.000, and a different test using the mann whitney test obtained a significant value of blood pressure and pulse p value of 0.000 (α < 0.05). There is an effect of giving blanket waremer on hemodynamics in post-spinal anesthesia patients in IBS RSUD dr.Tjitrowardojo Purworejo. As an alternative and can improve the comfort of patients who experience hemodynamic disorders in postoperative shivering patients with spinal anesthesia.

Shivering is one of the complications that often occurs after anesthesia due to impaired body thermoregulation. This condition can cause discomfort, increase oxygen consumption, and prolong the patient's recovery period. Education about shivering is very important for patients and families so that they understand the causes, risks, and how to handle it. This education program is carried out using a counseling method that involves educational media in the form of leaflets and demonstrations of effective handling techniques, such as the use of warm blankets, giving warm fluids, and relaxation techniques. Evaluation is carried out by measuring the level of understanding of patients and families before and after education, through a prepared questionnaire. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in understanding about shivering and how to handle it, both in theory and practice. This increase shows that the education provided is effective in increasing the readiness of patients and families in dealing with post-anesthesia shivering. This program is expected to reduce the negative impact of shivering and accelerate the patient's recovery process.

Shivering after cesarean section is one of the common side effects of spinal anesthesia that is often overlooked but can cause significant discomfort, even increasing the risk of postoperative complications such as increased oxygen consumption and impaired recovery. This community service program aims to improve understanding in both patients and health workers regarding the importance of effective shivering management through health education and practical training. The methods used include socialization, interactive counseling, action simulation, and evaluation of the level of understanding before and after educational activities. The results showed an increase in patient knowledge from 50% to 85% after education, and a decrease in the incidence of shivering from 70% to 30% after implementation of the intervention. These findings indicate that educational interventions and promotive-preventive approaches play an important role in improving the quality of postoperative care, especially in patients undergoing cesarean section. Therefore, the active involvement of health workers in providing health information and non-pharmacological pain management is essential to prevent and overcome shivering optimally.
