Misi gereja tidak hanya terbatas pada penginjilan dan pelayanan sosial, tetapi juga mencakup pendidikan. Pendidikan Agama Kristen menjadi alat penting dalam mewujudkan misi tersebut. Tujuan dari Pendidikan Agama Kristen bukan sekadar menanamkan nilai keimanan, tetapi juga sebagai manifestasi nyata dari misi gereja di dunia. Artikel ini memahami misi gereja sebagai pemberitaan Injil, pemuridan, dan pelayanan kasih yang dapat direalisasikan melalui pendidikan, terutama melalui karakter dan spiritualitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan memahami misi gereja dalam konteks pendidikan agama Kristen dengan metode studi pustaka dan analisis data deskriptif. Hasil studi pustaka menunjukkan bahwa makna misi gereja dalam konteks pendidikan agama Kristen dipengaruhi oleh peranan pendidikan agama Kristen dalam mendukung misi tersebut.

Indonesia, as a pluralistic nation, faces serious challenges related to religious radicalism, often triggered by a literal understanding of sacred texts, including the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16–20. This study emphasizes the need for reinterpretation of this text, not as a mandate for Christianization, but as a call to disciple others in the spirit of love and tolerance. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review, offering novelty through a contextual reinterpretation approach, different from previous studies that tended to be textual. This approach seeks to understand the text within the social and cultural context of pluralistic Indonesia, emphasizing values such as love, respect for pluralism, and honoring religious diversity. The findings show that this reinterpretation aligns with the values of Pancasila and can contribute to preventing the seeds of radicalism while strengthening interfaith harmony. By promoting inclusivity and peace, Christian mission can be a positive force in maintaining religious harmony in Indonesia. In conclusion, the Christian mission must shift from an exclusive paradigm focused on aggressive proselytization to a theocentric paradigm that embraces pluralism and promotes interfaith tolerance, to achieve peace amid the diversity of Indonesian society.

Profesi guru dalam perspektif pendidikan modern dipahami bukan sekadar sebagai penyampai pengetahuan, tetapi juga sebagai agen transformasi moral, etika, dan spiritual. Dalam konteks pendidikan Kristen, peran guru semakin signifikan karena dipanggil untuk menghadirkan teladan Kristus dalam seluruh aspek kehidupannya. Penelitian ini mengkaji relevansi keteladanan Yesus dalam Yohanes 13:13–16 dengan praktik pendidikan guru agama Kristen di sekolah. Teks ini menampilkan Yesus yang membasuh kaki murid-murid-Nya sebagai simbol kerendahan hati, kasih, dan pelayanan, yang menjadi dasar teologis bagi peran guru Kristen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan teologis dan pendidikan, melalui studi pustaka dan wawancara dengan guru-guru di SMA PGRI 22 Serpong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lima temuan utama. Pertama, teladan guru Kristen berfungsi sebagai model nyata yang membentuk iman dan karakter siswa. Kedua, praktik mentoring dalam perspektif Alkitab menegaskan pentingnya relasi personal dalam pendidikan iman. Ketiga, keteladanan Yesus menampilkan dimensi servant leadership yang relevan bagi kepemimpinan guru Kristen. Keempat, integritas guru Kristen menjadi fondasi utama dalam proses pendidikan karena konsistensi hidup lebih berpengaruh daripada sekadar instruksi verbal. Kelima, keteladanan Yesus tetap relevan di era modern karena mampu menuntun peserta didik menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan digitalisasi dengan iman yang tangguh. Dengan demikian, guru agama Kristen dipanggil untuk melayani dengan kasih, rendah hati, dan penuh integritas, sehingga mampu membentuk generasi yang cerdas secara intelektual sekaligus matang secara spiritual.

Penelitian ini menganalisis peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) dalam mengimplementasikan Amanat Agung berdasarkan Matius 28:19–20, serta implikasinya terhadap pertumbuhan iman peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif di SD Kristen Pelita Bangsa Bandung dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAK memiliki tiga peran utama, yaitu sebagai penginjil, pelatih, dan pengajar. Ketiga peran ini berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan iman peserta didik melalui penginjilan, pembinaan rohani, dan pengajaran firman Tuhan. Tantangan yang muncul meliputi kurangnya dukungan keluarga, pengaruh teknologi digital, dan dangkalnya pemahaman rohani siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan urgensi guru PAK sebagai agen Amanat Agung di sekolah.

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Great Commission in the growth of the Mahanaim Community Church Semarang youth community. The focus of the study is directed at discipleship, evangelism, and development strategies based on the principles of the Great Commission and their impact on community growth. The growth referred to is not only related to the increase in the number of members, but also concerns the depth of faith, the formation of spiritual character, and the active involvement of the younger generation in church services. The research method used is a qualitative case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with youth leaders and community members, direct observation of development and service activities, and analysis of internal documents held by the church. Triangulation techniques were used to ensure the validity of the data and strengthen the research findings. The results show that the implementation of the Great Commission carried out systematically, directed, and consistently proved very effective in encouraging the holistic growth of the youth community. Discipleship strategies through small groups and personal mentoring play a significant role in instilling strong faith values. Evangelism implemented creatively and contextually is able to attract the interest of the younger generation to join. Meanwhile, ongoing development provides space for youth to grow in service skills and channel their potential. Thus, the implementation of the Great Commission not only impacts the quantity of members but also the spiritual quality, commitment to service, and engagement of the younger generation with the church. This research provides a practical contribution to other churches seeking to develop youth ministry through a holistic and transformative approach based on the Great Commission.

The presence of metaverse which is the result of the development of digital technology has been adapted by some churches so that it has given rise to a new model of worship and church, namely the metaverse church. The presence of metaverse technology provides new opportunities and challenges for the church of the future. This research is intended so that the church is able to maximize the implementation of the great commission and the implementation of the church's three tasks by utilizing metaverse technology. This research uses qualitative methods and literature studies. The results of the study revealed a lack of uniformity of opinion among churches regarding the implementation of the great commission in the metaverse world, but the church has the opportunity to optimize service and implementation of the great commission with metaverse technology and the church must prepare itself well to overcome the challenges of the presence of metaverse technology.

The background to this Community Service Activity (PkM) is: First, there is a need among congregation members for speakers/lecturers/who can speak Javanese so that the participants better understand the material for faith formation, in the context of commemorating Good Friday and Easter.  Second, there is a need to refresh the commitment of congregation members in their faith in Jesus Christ.  Third, there is a need for a correct understanding of Good Friday and Easter for the general public, so that they get the correct information about this.  The aim of this Community Service activity is as follows: First, so that the message of the lecture about the coming of Jesus who gives life and abundance (John 10:10b) can be captured or understood more clearly by the recipients of this PkM service, because it is delivered in Javanese .  Second, to explain the material for community service through faith formation lectures.  Third, to determine respondents' satisfaction as participants in this community service activity.  The results of this devotion are: First, faith formation material with the theme "Christ came to give life and abundance" including that Jesus is the door to guaranteeing safety and security, Jesus came to give life and abundance and Jesus guides the lost sheep.  The level of satisfaction of the participants with the material and its delivery is at the level of hight (85,11%).

The Great Commission was the last message that gave by Jesus to His disciples before His ascension to heaven. It is an absolute command that must do by all believers who have faith in Christ. It also must be a cornerstone for evangelical activity. Goal of the great commission's activity is to share that salvation has provided in Jesus so since that is also God's grace and love it can be felt by everyone who give response and believe. To have a correct understanding so that capable to get the conclusion based on the truth, observation using exegetical method according to excavation from the original language could be support the discovery. The main purpose of Great Commission is "to make all the nations Christ's disciple." The process to make discipleship started by mission, followed by baptizing and teaching. The phrase of "to make all nations disciple" has meaning to make all nonJewish or people who unknown God, unbelievers, and gentiles, become Christ's followers. The Lord God willing to that all nations to be His disciples. Discipleship needs an obedience to produce multiplication from the devout of disciples themselves as well. Church or believers must realize to this mission (marturia) as the main task that must be done. l. Evangelism must be done immediately and become a lifestyle of all believers. Means that evangelism must be done anytime and anywhere. When believers don't do evangelism, then it proves that they don't care about the salvation of others. And when do not care about salvation of others, hence in this case church sinned. Sinned because of disobeying the Lord's commandment.

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of Christian Religious Education teachers towards the Great Commission of Jesus Christ as the basis for the ethics of the teaching profession. The Great Commission of Jesus Christ contains important moral values in the educational context, such as love, justice, humility, forgiveness, and social responsibility. This study uses the library method. In the library method, the writer will search and select information sources that are relevant to the research topic. The results of this research can contribute to the development of an educational approach that focuses on spiritual and ethical values, as well as provide a better understanding of the challenges faced by teachers in integrating religious values into a diverse school environment.

Church dedication in carrying out God's mission is an obligation that must be carried out because it is the main task and responsibility of church institutions to remain faithful and consistently realize it. The purpose of writing this article is to provide a theoretical contribution through ideas or ideas about how the church's dedication in realizing the mission Allah in the world with the right efforts to maximize the completion of the mandate as a whole. The method used in this paper is the literature review method by collecting data in the form of observations, analysis of books, articles, magazines, websites and other sources related to the topic of discussion and looking at the links from each library source used, and all sources used are described. based on the provisions of the research. The result of this discussion is that the church is able to complete the great commission in the world in the right way, then the church is able to produce quality missionaries with various upbringings that are applied and the church consistently carries out its missions with various predetermined actions

Sebagai bentuk tindak lanjut penetapan tahun 2008 sebagai tahun Paulus, Keuskupan Banjarmasin memprioritaskan perutusannya dengan mengembangkan sebuah misi pemberdayaan masyarakat pribumi yaitu Masyarakat Dayak Pegunungan Meratus. Misi ini dikenal dengan nama “Misi Meratus”. Tujuan misi Meratus adalah agar Gereja lebih mendekatkan diri kepada masyarakat Dayak Meratus dan sekaligus memberikan berbagai sumbangsih dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan mereka sehingga mampu bersaing di tengah arus perkembangan zaman. Misi ini sudah berjalan 14 tahun. Bagaimanakah dampak kehadiran misi ini di Tanah Dayak Pegunungan Meratus? Hal itulah yang mendorong peneliti melakukan penelitian ini, terutama untuk melihat sejauh mana perkembangan Gereja Katolik dan seberapa besar sumbangsih Misi Meratus bagi kemajuan masyarakat pegunungan Meratus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa Batuah, Stasi Bernadus Ka’ar Kalimantan Selatan, pada bulan Juli sampai November 2021. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data-data diperoleh dari 10 informan, yang terdiri dari  1 Pastor, 1 Volunteer Misi Meratus, 1 orang aparat desa, dan 7 orang umat Ka’ar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sejak lahirnya, Gereja Ka’ar mengalami perkembangan yang luar biasa, baik dari segi kuantitas umat maupun kualitas iman. Semua itu tidak terlepas dari kerja keras Tim Misi Meratus Keuskupan Banjarmasin dalam mendampingi umat Ka’ar. Kehadiran Tim Misi yang merupakan representasi kehadiran Gereja Katolik di pegunungan Meratus telah memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan pembangunan masyarakat Ka’ar seluruhnya. Gereja Katolik pun mendapat apresiasi yang cukup tinggi dari masyarakat Ka’ar dan sekitarnya karena dedikasinya yang begitu loyal dan tulus. Gereja Katolik telah sukses melanjutkan amanat agung Sang Guru Yesus untuk mewartakan sukacita keselamatan bagi umat manusia.
