Digital animation technology is increasingly advancing, as evidenced by the proliferation of animated films worldwide. This is also true in Indonesia, where the production of animated films has increased significantly due to the improvement and ease of digital animation technology. One of the most important parts of the animation process is the rigging process, which involves creating a skeleton for the character or object so that it can move and appear lifelike. The rigging process in the short animated film "The Relativity Of Reality" tells the story of Rei, a young boy who discovers advanced technology from a secret organization. However, the owner of the technology comes to take it back, leading to a struggle and chase. Rei decides to escape but is cornered and a battle ensues. The characters in the film are animated using rigging techniques, utilizing the Bendy Bone feature in the Blender application. This feature is useful in creating a rigged system for characters and objects. The result of applying rigging with the Bendy Bone feature is that characters move more fluidly, not only in the legs, body, and arms but also in the face. Therefore, the use of bendy bone and facial rigging in characters will make it easier to produce animations. In addition, rigging can also be applied to other moving objects such as cars, skateboards, doors, and cabinets.

The rapid development of multimedia technology has significantly advanced 3D animation techniques, enabling the production of high-quality visual content across industries such as film, gaming, architecture, and product visualization. Rendering, as the final stage of the 3D production pipeline, plays a crucial role in determining both visual realism and production efficiency. This study compares the performance of three rendering engines—Eevee, Cycles, and Radeon ProRender—by evaluating rendering speed, visual quality, and memory efficiency in Blender. The objective is to provide practical insights for designers and digital content creators in selecting the most suitable rendering engine based on project requirements. In this research, three identical 3D scenes were rendered using each of the three rendering engines under controlled experimental conditions. The comparison was conducted based on several parameters, including rendering time, output file size, shadow accuracy, lighting effects, and overall visual realism. Quantitative measurements were used to evaluate render speed and memory consumption, while qualitative analysis assessed differences in shadow detail, global illumination behavior, reflection accuracy, and material realism. The results indicate that Eevee outperforms the other engines in terms of rendering speed, making it highly suitable for real-time applications and projects requiring fast previews. Cycles produces the highest level of visual realism due to its physically based path-tracing algorithm, although it requires longer rendering time and higher computational resources. Meanwhile, Radeon ProRender demonstrates competitive performance, particularly in shadow quality and lighting effects, offering a balanced alternative between realism and efficiency. Based on the findings, Blender remains a flexible and effective platform. The choice of rendering engine should depend on whether speed, graphic quality, or memory optimization is prioritized.

Sambas has a traditional craft of songket cloth known as Kain lunggi or kain Bannang ammas because the motif is woven from gold and silver colored threads. Lunggi fabric has many weaving motifs, one of the most famous weaving motifs is the motif of bamboo shoots (Pucuk Rebung). But not a few people who do not know other motifs besides woven fabrics and other information about the motif of Sambas woven fabrics that are already quite global. So it is important to convey this information to the public interestingly. One of the media that can be used is through 3D animated films. This study was conducted by applying the MDLC method in which the process of modeling, rigging texturing, editing and animating in it. Based on the test results of 2 media experts at 84%, 2 material experts at 89%, and 30 general public at 89.46%, this animated film deserves to be published with a duration of 15 minutes and mp4 format.

Health education is one of the most important thing to be learn since early age like washing hands and brushing teeth. But because of the lack of education a lot of people in the community don’t know the ways to take care of their own teeth. The consequence of lack of education create a problem for a a lot of people in the community which is tooth ache. The effort that could be done to fix the problem is to create a learning media that is easy to understand and have the capability to share information widely. Because of that, animation 3D become a choice for this research to educate people in the community about dental health and how to take care of it. The method that the researcher use in this research is qualitative interview, researcher will do an interview with a dentist to get information about how to take care of your teeth. After getting the information it will then be used to create animation 3D. the method that is being used to create animation 3D is MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) which has 6 stages, namely Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing and Distribution after the animation is finished its being shared to social media such as Youtube and Instagram. Keywords: MDLC, Animation 3D, Qualitative Interview

The main thing that distinguishes between 2D and 3D animation lies in the quality of the resulting display, namely the appearance of 2D animation that seems flat and the appearance of 3D animation that seems more volume. This study aims to manually apply 2D visual effects as an alternative in making an animated visual effect. The process of uniting a 3D animation combined with 2D animation visual effects that are created manually frame by frame and using Clip Paint Studio and Blender software. The results of this study indicate that the application of 2D animation visual effects in 3D animation is able to display a visual style that resembles 2D animation and does not require computer engine performance that is too heavy, rather than using 3D simulation methods or 3D procedural which requires strong computer resources. It is good to use in making a 3D animation with a visual style of 2D animation.

Main Objective: The objective of this research is to complete the exciting and fictive effects of each color and lighting type when practiced in 3D animation setting. In addition, this research also proposes several lighting design recommendations in 3D animation. Background problem: The main sense for the advance of animated films is cinematic lighting effects. Various techniques and approaches have been planned to create lighting effects, but how these effects affect the viewer’s sentimental sense and especially the storytelling practice is not understood. Novelty: The results of the emotional effects of lighting styles show that these effects are not shown in an imposing aspect, which means, not all lighting style affects the feelings on each scale. In this study, several differences were found in several color scales with different cinematic meanings. Research Method: The research method used is quantitative and subjective data analysis adopting a qualitative grounded theory coding with several animated video scenes developed with various colors and low and high-key statistical lighting designs to analyze and measure the effects of different lighting designs. Finding/Result: The finding of this study indicate that cinematic lighting influences the emotional impact of scenes and stories in plan. Conclusion: This study also confirms the current lighting approach, according to the result of this study, it brings guidance on how certain lighting and color techniques can be adopted to influence the audience in 3D animation about feelings and story perception Keywords: Cinematic Lighting, 3D animation, Emotional Storytelling

Freshwater fish farming extension activity is one of the activities at UPT Karanganyar Fish Seed Center (BBI). In freshwater fish farming extension activities at the exposure session at UPT Balai Balai Ikan Ikan (BBI), they still used the lecture model and did not use other extension media. This resulted in extension participants becoming less familiar with the exposure material they obtained. Participants had difficulty in describing counseling materials. This has become an obstacle for the extension team in delivering the counseling material. Utilization of Simulated Multimedia as a 3D Animation-Based Counseling Media, can facilitate the counseling team in providing material exposure explanation on how to cultivate freshwater fish. By utilizing 3D Animation-based Mutlimedia Simulation can help extension participants in understanding the depiction of extension material to be implemented at the practice stage of freshwater fish farming. This is evidenced by using a user test, 40% of 25 respondents who stated that by utilizing multimedia simulation based on 3D assimilation, it is feasible to be used as an extension media for freshwater fish farming.
