SK JAYA adalah perusahaan manufaktur lokal yang sudah berproduksi secara komersial dan memiliki beberapa kegiatan usaha yaitu perdagangan panel-panel listrik, Box metal. Namun, dalam melakukan perencanaan dan pengendalian bahan baku, perusahaan mengalami kendala karena belum dilakukannya suatu perencanaan yang tepat dalam menentukan kebutuhan bahan baku. Kendala ini tentunya berpengaruh terhadap proses produksi dan pengelolahan biaya dalam melakukan pengadaan bahan baku. Untuk Box Panel, dengan metode perusahaan yang diterapkan sebelumnya, perusahaan hanya mampu memenuhi kebutuhan sebesar 2.880 pcs sedangkan kebutuhan yang dibutuhkan sebesar 3.150 pcs. Untuk membantu masalah yang terjadi pada CV. SK JAYA, maka diterapkan suatu metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) yang dapat membantu perusahaan dalam melakukan perencanaan bahan baku secara tepat. Dengan menggunakan metode MRP, perusahaan mampu menentukan kebutuhan yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan suatu proses produksi dengan biaya yang efisien. Bahan baku yang dikeluarkan perusahaan dalam melakukan pengadaan bahan baku selama satu tahun plat besi untuk komponen pintu box, bagian belakang box, samping box, bagian bawah box, dan kepala box membutuhkan sebanyak 3.147 lembar plat besi , komponen kunci membutuhkan 3.048 pcs, komponen tombol membutuhkan 9.441 pcs, komponen plat nama membutuhkan 2.081 pcs , komponen ensel membutuhkan 3.048 set, komponen BG lubang kabel membutuhkan 3.048 pcs. Dengan teknik Fixed Periode Requirement (FPR) mendapatkan biaya sebesar Rp6.659.790,00. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan metode MRP dapat berperan dalam melakukan perbaikan perencanaan dan pengendalian bahan baku dengan biaya yang efisien pada perusahaan.

Street lighting is a safety infrastructure on the highway. However, currently most of the public street lighting lamps do not comply with the provisions of the Indonesian National Standards Agency (BSNI). It is necessary to plan for lamp replacement by using lamps that are appropriate to field conditions, so that the light intensity produced is in accordance with established standards. Jalan Jenggolo Asri - Randu Asri in Sidoarjo is an example of a road that requires planning for lighting changes. This road is a type of secondary collector road with a length of 2500 meters and a road width of 6 meters. The lighting on this road does not meet the standards set by BSNI 7391: 2008 caused by several lights that go out and the power of the lights used is not optimal. Planning for replacing public street lighting is needed on this road by recalculating the maximum light intensity requirements. The method that can be done is to replace the lamp used with an LED lamp. In the current initial conditions, street lighting on this road uses 250W SON and 150W LED lamps. After planning, the lights will be replaced with 100W LED lights. The planning results show that by using a 100W LED lamp, a handlebar ornament angle of 14.06° will be produced, the light intensity is Candela, the lighting intensity is 6.77 Lux, and the power required per day is 26.4 kWh. Comparison with the use of 250 Watt SON lamps shows that the use of 100W LED lamps is more efficient in energy consumption by 51.76%. The results of this planning have met the standard requirements for secondary collector roads. Thus, by replacing the lights according to the plan, it is hoped that street lighting on Jalan Jenggolo Asri - Randu Asri Sidoarjo can meet the standards set by BSNI 7391:2008 and provide optimal light intensity with more efficient energy use.

PAL Indonesia is one of the construction companies in the maritime industry that focuses on producing above and below the surface ships which the Indonesian government highly relies on, therefore the safety system there is very strict, including safety lighting. With good lighting, objects can be seen clearly, so that the operation of production equipment and work in the workshop is optimal. However, the company PT. PAL Indonesia has a problem, namely in the warship production workshop, workers often complain because the lighting in the workshop is not bright enough, which causes workers to experience red, watery and sore eyes. Therefore, researchers are interested in analyzing whether the existing lighting standard is in accordance with SNI 03-6197-2000, namely 350lux. From the research that has been done, it is found that the PT PAL workshop with an area of 2700m2 has an average light intensity measurement of 82.22lux, so re-planning is needed to produce a light intensity that is in accordance with the standards. Based on the results of calculations according to standards, 42 light points are obtained with an average lighting of 354 lux which is simulated using the dialux application. The addition of these light points had an impact on increasing electricity bill rates, which were initially IDR 624,575.34 per month to IDR 2,186,013.69 per month.

PT. Z merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi pelat baja yang berlokasi di Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Proses produksi di PT. Z memanfaatkan sepenuhnya mesin yang berjalan sepanjang waktu. Hambatan dalam pembuatan pelat baja adalah bahwa sering ada kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh manusia, material, dan mesin. Seringkali, kerusakan mesin pada faktor mesin menghentikan jalanya proses produksi. Kerusakan pada mesin produksi mencegah proses produksi bekerja dengan lancar. Waktu henti yang tinggi sering disebabkan oleh perawatan dan penggantian komponen pada bagian-bagian mesin tertentu. Akibatnya, peralatan membutuhkan perbaikan atau pemeliharaan (maintenance). Diantara semua mesin produksi, mesin rolling mill  merupakan mesin dengan angka downtime tertinggi. Komponen pada mesin rolling mill yang menyebabkan downtime paling tinggi sebesar 12.851 menit yakni komponen roll. Studi ini bermaksud  membuat rencana penjadwalan penggantian roll pada mesin rolling mill.  Metodelogi yang diterapkan dalam  penelitian ini adalah Preventive Maintenance dengan menghitung keandalannya dan membuat jadwal penggantian roll. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata penggantian roll setiap 6 hari dengan keandalan 63,21%, dan rata-rata waktu proses penggantian roll adalah 131 menit.

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan FMCG yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur kosmetik dengan berbagai macam produk dan merek. Perusahaan ini memiliki banyak jenis bahan pengemas sebagai bahan baku produksi dan disimpan di gudang bahan pengemas dengan sistem penyimpanan randomized storage, yaitu dengan penyimpanan secara acak berdasarkan kesediaan rak tanpa memperhatikan jenis dan tingkat penggunaan komponen tersebut. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan perancangan penyimpanan menggunakan metode dedicated storage, yaitu metode penempatan lokasi atau tempat simpanan spesifik untuk setiap barang yang disimpan, untuk minimasi jarak tempuh aktivitas pergudangan pada gudang bahan pengemas PT XYZ dengan mengolah throughput sejumlah 352 aktivitas dan space requirement sebanyak 312 pallet untuk mendapatkan perankingn T/S terhadap bahan yang disimpan sehingga didapatkan penurunan jarak tempuh aktivitas pergudangan sebesar 75.529,28 meter atau sebesar 50,72%.

This study uses the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method to examine the choice of methanol raw material sources at PT XYZ. The procedure of gathering primary and secondary data for this study entails identifying supplier selection criteria, compiling data on criteria and sub-criteria, and compiling information on supplier performance. Results indicated that product quality, price, supply reliability, sustainability, and reputation were important factors in PT XYZ's decision to choose a certain supplier for its methanol raw materials. The relative weight of each criterion and sub-criteria has been computed using the FAHP approach, which aids in assessing possible providers. Additionally, depending on the obtained priority values, supplier rankings are also established. In conclusion, PT XYZ may choose its raw material suppliers for methanol using the FAHP approach effectively. As well as producing more objective and organized outcomes, this strategy aids in lowering decision-making uncertainty and complexity.

CV Berkah Kecambah Tauge Aling is a company engaged in the field of food or vegetable bean sprouts made from green beans. In the production of CV Berkah Kecambah Tauge Aling there was a product defect in January 2023 which occurred, namely the result of the defect rate which was known to have the highest number of defects in the yellow color defect of 1818 packages, with a defect percentage of 58.3%. Then the Bad Smell defects with a total of 879 defects, a percentage of defects obtained by 28.2%, the type of defective packaging torn with a total of 423 defects, a percentage of defects of 13.6%. it is known that the diagram (p-chart) with the type of product defect still has 13 points exceeding the upper control limit or UCL and there are 12 points exceeding the lower control limit or LCL with a proportion of 0.148. Judging from the results of DPMO calculations and Sigma Levels, an average DPMO of 49619 is obtained, so that if there is a product defect of 49619 out of 1,000,000 opportunities in the Sprouts production process at CV. The Blessing of Aling Bean Sprouts. In the FMEA diagram to find out the factors and RPN values that result in product defects including human factors, machines, materials, methods, and the environment, the results of the FMEA analysis cause the biggest defects, namely yellowing defects with an RPN value of 810.

PT Kusuma Mulia Plasindo Infitex is a company engaged in the manufacturing sector that produces polypropylene and HD (Hight density Polyethylene) plastic products. The problem that occurred at PT Kusuma Mulia Plasindo Infitex was that the number of defective products on HD plastic products of 98,327 kg contained 4,194 kg of defective products. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that cause defects and suggestions for improvements to minimize defective products. This study uses the six sigma method which is useful for finding the root causes of problems that are adjusted to the characteristics of the data they have. The 5 stages of six sigma are DMAIC(define, measure, analyze, improve, control) and kaizen is the Five M-Checklist. So from the results of data processing, the value is obtained in the form of DPMO 8393.048 and a sigma value of 2.49. Proposed improvements include providing training in plastic welding, providing additional 5-10 minute breaks and supervision while working. Perform routine machine maintenance every month and cleaning every day. Adding ventilation and blowers in the production room. Carry out the production process according to the existing SOP at the company, especially in mixing materials according to the SOP for raw materials that have been made by the company.

Adisutjipto Angkasa High School in the laboratory has a fire risk and has some carbon content in the air which disturbs the respiratory system of the laboratory users. As for the manufacture of smart door lock products that have an important function value, namely as a tool for emergency needs when work accidents occur in the chemical laboratory and physics laboratory environment. The method used in this study is usability using the Use Questionnaire with validity and reliability measurements. The population in this study was 72 students of Angkasa Adisutjipto High School and the sample of this study was 41 students of Angkasa Adisutjipto High School. The results of this study show that the R value with df=39 and the correlation is significant at the 0.05 level and 2-tailend is 0.3081. reliability test results with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.756.

PT KMPI is an industrial company that produces textiles and plastics, including plastic products made of polypropylene (PP). The problem that occurs in PT Kusuma Mulia Plasindo Infitex is the quality of the products that still have defects, based on the results of the analysis in February 2023 with a total production of 76,596 kg there are rejects data of 4,695 kg and the percentage of product defects that occur is 6.1%. The objective of this study is to determine the predominant types of defects that influence the factors that cause defects. This study uses the seven tools method to find the root cause of the problem to be solved, as well as the Kaizen Five-M checklist and the Kaizen Five Step Plan to suggest improvements to the company. Based on the results of data processing, there are three types of defects, namely wrinkle defects with a percentage of 43% for a total defect of 2039 kg, medium wrinkle defects with a percentage of 45% for a total defect of 2094 kg, and thick-thin defects with a percentage of 12% for a total defect of 562 kg. From the fishbone diagram, it can be seen that the occurrence of defects is caused by several factors, namely people, materials, methods and machines. Suggested improvements using the Kaizen Five-M checklist analysis are training and monitoring of production, implementation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) established by the company, such as dosing the mixture of plastic seeds with addictive substances at a ratio of 25 Kg. 1 oz. and Kaizen management control: 1 Ons and Kaizen five-step plan management controls, namely Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke. This includes pre-job briefings and periodic assessments, and the establishment of standard operating procedures for the supervision of single-table melting machines with a melting temperature of 160-166oC.

PT. Sejin Lestari Furniture is a company engaged in the production of furniture such as doors, tables, chairs, cabinets, bookcases and other interior equipment. As one of the companies that have succeeded in producing finished goods in large quantities, PT. Sejin Lestari Furniture relies on the help of an electric motor at every stage of its production, including one of the wood pellet production machines, namely the biofuel pelletizer molding machine which has four different types of motors. In order to work optimally, electric motors need a protection system that can protect them from threats. In this study, the protection system used is Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) which functions as an overload controller so that the electric motor is not easily burned or damaged. In this case, the TOR must be adjusted according to the capacity of each induction motor so that when an overload occurs, the TOR will automatically cut off the current flowing in the motor so that damage can be avoided. The TOR trip standards in this study uses the NEMA (National Electrical Manufactures Association) standard with the method used, namely Research and Development (R&D) where this method is carried out to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. The data collection was obtained through journals and books.

In a steam power plant, of course, it has a very important prime mover, namely an electric motor, but electric motors are used in a variety of functions, one of the main roles in this electric motor is as a condensate extraction pump in a steam power plant which functions to push materials for power plant production. Steam power, namely sea water, goes to the generator to become a power plant. The method used is qualitative by using observation techniques, interviews and literature studies. This condensate extraction pump (CEP) electric motor can be operated automatically and manually for routine maintenance and good inspection results.

A manufacturing company engaged in the furniture industry, specializing in wood, rattan and glass products. Most of the production orders were related to table products, stands and chests, with a total of 15,224 orders for other products. Based on results of direct observation at PT. Romi Violeta from the production process department says that due to the limited working hours, especially as the production orders for tables, shelves, etc. increase every month, the physical and mental strain employees take to meet their production targets. I often complain about. For commodity products. The purpose of the research is to find cases of high physical and mental stress at manufacturing sites with high stress standards such as tables, shelves, and chests of drawers, and to provide suggestions for improving the reduction of physical and mental stress. . Based on an analysis of the results, the mean cardiovascular load (CVL) percentage was found to be 43.902%, indicating that the assessment needs improvement, and the Bourdon Vielsma test speed result was 12.593 seconds with a score of 7. , a body weight score (WS) of 11.5 is included in the adequate group (C). Accuracy is 3.26, score is 8, fair group (CB) weighted score (WS) is 12, constant is 8.185 seconds, score is 5.5, score is . 8 are in the suspicious (R) group.

The need for water consumption is currently very high, almost all human activities require water, therefore the process and production of water is very important to maintain health, the electric motor is the main driving tool needed in the process of cleaning water, therefore the motor is able to move the machine to clean the place water filter or water filter at the Tirta Madani Regional Drinking Water Company in Serang City to maintain water quality. The method used is qualitative by using observation techniques, interviews and literature studies. The filter backwash system is one of the ways to care and maintain the quality of drinking water. Backwashing requires an electric motor, a centrifugal pump and an air blower as its propulsion device.

CV. Daya Patra Sentosa is a company that produces paving. Of the several types of products available, T6 paving, T8 paving, and hexagon paving are the types of products with the most demand. CV. Daya Patra Sentosa has problems in production scheduling, namely there are frequent delays in product delivery because they do not yet have an optimal production scheduling system and still use FCFS rules. The purpose of this study is to provide alternative production scheduling suggestions in order to obtain optimal production processing time and prevent delays in product delivery. These problems are solved by the method of Campbell Dudek Smith and Palmer. These two methods are compared to find out the production process time and get the optimal choice of production time. The calculation results show that the application of the method applied by the company, namely FCFS is 12342.9 minutes, the Campbell Dudek Smith method is 11953.9 minutes, and the Palmer method is 12023 minutes. It can be seen that the Campbell-Dudek-Smith method provides a shorter time of 389 minutes (3.15%) to the company's schedule.

In an effort to increase productivity to ensure smooth production processes, it is necessary to implement an appropriate maintenance system to reduce production machine downtime. The purpose of company maintenance is to keep production machines in good condition so that production operations can run efficiently and effectively. PT Yale Woodpallet Indonesia is a company in Indonesia that produces wooden pallets (wood pallet). This company often experiences problems with damage to machines due to suboptimal machine maintenance because the maintenance system is carried out to repair damaged components with new components resulting in downtime. Among these problems, this study aims to determine maintenance intervals to minimize maintenance costs by using modularity design and age replacement methods. Based on the analysis of the results obtained, it is known that the modularity design and age replacement methods can achieve optimal component replacement intervals for pallet machine components is 30,000 minutes, rotary screening components are 33,200 minutes and hopper components are 33,200 minutes. The total maintenance cost per year is Rp. 2,115,610,959, -. compared to the company's maintenance costs which have a value of Rp. 2,668,692,000, the maintenance system using the modularity design and age replacement method is more efficient by 1.27%.

This research is based on the problems found based on the results of interviews with mathematics teachers and students at SMPN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban that the media used in the learning process only uses the blackboard with lecture and discussion methods, there is no technology-based learning media, especially educational games that are used by teachers to students related to mathematics lessons caused a lack of interest and activeness of students in mathematics subjects. Based on this, the solution given is to design a learning media. The purpose of this research is to produce learning media products in the form of educational games with the help of software Building 2 mathematics subjects at SMPN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban. The design of mathematics education games uses the construct 2 design application at SMPN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban with the Research and Development (R&D) research method using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) development model from Luther Sutopo the development model is explained in 6 stages, namely Concept, Design, Materials Collection, Assembly, Testing and Distribution. The product test used in the research is the validity test, practicality test, and effectiveness test. The product test results show that the educational games designed are valid, practical and effective. For the results of the validity test of three validators, the score was 0.88, the practical test by 3 practi- tators was 0.97, and the effectiveness test of twenty people was 0.92.

Cryptography is a solution or method of information security that is good for maintaining the confidentiality and security of information, and can improve information or information security in an era of very rapid development of information technology. The rapid development of this technology, many new implications and problems arise in the delivery and communication of information, this is because everyone has easy access to the media and this affects the security of information and messages on the media. Therefore, to protect messages, we can use Caesar encryption, which is relatively easy to implement in PHP. How to apply message security in this study by designing web-based applications using the PHP and HTML programming languages. Message protection uses the Caesar encryption algorithm by changing every character of the original message into ciphertext. Characters in plain text are replaced with keys that are determined based on the number of alphabetical orders of plain text. In this way, unauthorized parties cannot read these private messages and users can interact with private messages more freely.

This study aims to provide an overview of the suitability of machining engineering majors in the world of work. When the Covid-19 case is on the increase, especially in Indonesia, many graduates of vocational high schools have difficulty finding jobs according to the majors they are interested in, especially in the field of machining engineering expertise. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods with field data obtained from the results of questionnaires distributed to vocational high school students in the field of machining engineering expertise so that 33 respondents can be analyzed. The results of the study show that there is suitability and incompatibility in finding work due to the impact of Covid-19, factors that can cause this such as students' lack of understanding of distance learning when affected by the Covid-19 outbreak and remote practicum which hinders the growth of students' competence that should be obtained to enter the world of work. In addition, the lack of information related to the world of work was also felt by students when the Covid-19 outbreak attacked Indonesia. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out how suitable graduates of vocational high schools are in finding jobs and in accordance with what they are interested in in their areas of expertise

The paper-based voting system that has been used so far has several weaknesses such as ballot damage, vote counting errors, susceptibility to fraud, and delayed election results. To overcome these issues, a more secure and guaranteed electronic voting system is needed. The shift from conventional media to various media used for opinion polling, such as social media/internet, has occurred in this technological era.
