Hypertension is a primary risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, including stroke, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, and peripheral vascular disease. Often referred to as "The Silent Killer," its onset is frequently asymptomatic, making early detection challenging. Effective interventions, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological, are necessary to manage hypertension and reduce complications. Long-term treatment requires adherence to prescribed medications, with self-care management playing a vital role in minimizing hypertension's adverse effects. Self-efficacy, or an individual's belief in their abilities, is crucial for improving medication adherence and self-care activities. This study aimed to examine the correlation between self-efficacy and self-care management in relation to medication adherence among hypertension patients at RSUD Mandau District. A non-experimental, quantitative, analytic correlation study with a cross-sectional design was conducted, involving 38 hypertension patients. Self-efficacy was measured using the MASES-R (Medication Adherence Self-Efficacy Scale-Revision), medication adherence was assessed with the MMAS-8 (8-item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale), and self-care management was evaluated using the HBP-SCP (Hypertension Self-Care Profile). The findings revealed a significant correlation between self-efficacy and medication adherence (p=0.000, r=0.594). Additionally, self-care management was significantly correlated with medication adherence (p=0.027, r=0.360). In conclusion, self-efficacy and self-care management both significantly correlate with medication adherence in hypertension patients at RSUD Mandau District.

This research is motivated by the importance of business licensing in the trade of goods and services sector as an instrument of legality, supervision, and legal protection; however, its implementation still faces gaps between normative regulations and practices in the field. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of business actors’ compliance with licensing obligations, identify obstacles in the implementation of risk-based licensing policies, and evaluate their impact on compliance. The method used is library research with a normative juridical approach, through an examination of primary legal materials in the form of laws and related regulations, as well as secondary and tertiary legal materials from scientific literature. The results show that the effectiveness of risk-based licensing policies has not been optimally achieved due to low legal literacy, limited digital understanding, and the perception that licenses are merely a formality, causing many business actors to neglect administrative obligations. This condition illustrates the existence of a gap between regulatory objectives and implementation practices. These findings emphasize the need for procedural simplification, intensified socialization, and strengthened technical assistance so that licensing policies become more responsive to the needs of business actors, while simultaneously encouraging compliance and enhancing national economic competitiveness.

This study aims to review the legal aspects and impacts of the vehicle tax amnesty policy on increasing Regional Original Income or PAD due to late payment of vehicle tax, which has become one of the strategies adopted by local governments to optimize tax revenues and maintain the validity of vehicle data. This study uses normative juridical as its approach to review laws and regulations and uses relevant literature studies. The results of the study reveal that normatively, this policy has a strong legal basis and has been empirically proven to be able to increase tax revenues in the short term. However, there is a potential for a long-term decline if the policy is not accompanied by adequate supervision and education. Therefore, harmonious, transparent implementation and increased socialization are needed to avoid taxpayer misunderstandings. This study contributes to the understanding of the importance of balance between fiscal incentives and the powerlessness of regional tax governance.

This study evaluates the implementation of Behavior Based Safety (BBS) in improving occupational safety compliance at PT Wichindo Pratama, a heavy equipment manufacturing company with high work risks. The topic was chosen due to frequent violations of safety procedures, such as the improper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and neglect of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which increase the risk of accidents. A qualitative method was used through direct observation, in-depth interviews with 12 shift workers, and field assessments of safety facilities. The findings show that although the company has an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management system, non-compliance still occurs. Issues include incomplete PPE usage, disorganized work tools, and unsafe rest habits. Observations revealed potential hazards such as physical (noise), chemical (oil exposure), ergonomic (awkward postures), mechanical (machine use without full PPE), biological, and psychological risks (stress from shift work). BBS is seen as a strategy to connect existing OHS policies with safe work behavior by focusing on mindset and daily habits. The implementation of BBS is expected to reduce accidents and support the creation of a safer, more sustainable workplace.

Anemia in pregnant women is one of the contributing factors to stunting in toddlers. The consumption of iron (Fe) tablets by pregnant women requires supervision from family members to support the success of the stunting reduction program in Bangli Regency. Iron tablet intervention in pregnant women has been proven to reduce the risk of complications, lower the incidence of low birth weight in infants, and decrease maternal mortality during childbirth. This study used a cross-sectional survey design, involving 48 pregnant women. Data collection was conducted using total sampling during the period from January 2024 to January 2025 at Kintamani IV Public Health Center. Bivariate data analysis was carried out using the chi-square test. The results of the study showed that 68% of pregnant women experienced mild anemia. Most pregnancies were in the third trimester (39%), and 43% of the participants were in their first pregnancy. The majority of the pregnant women had good knowledge levels. There was a significant relationship between pregnant women’s knowledge and their adherence to consuming iron tablets, with a p-value of 0.019. The odds ratio (OR = 5.014) indicated that pregnant women with good knowledge were five times more likely to adhere to iron tablet consumption compared to those with limited knowledge. Support and monitoring of the nutritional status of pregnant women are essential to reduce the incidence of low birth weight and stunting among toddlers in Selulung Village, Kintamani District.

Morbus Hansen, or leprosy, is a chronic infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium leprae. There are two types of leprosy, namely MB (Multi Bacillary) and PB (Pauci Bacillary). According to the WHO, the level of disability due to leprosy is divided into three levels: Level 0, Level 1, and Level 3. This study is an analytic observational study using a cross-sectional research design, involving 45 respondents selected through total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by filling out a questionnaire consisting of questions regarding leprosy medication compliance. Data analysis used the chi-square test and prevalence rate. The results showed no association between medication compliance (p=0.092, PR=2.0) and the incidence of leprosy disability at the Batumarmar Health Center, Pamekasan Regency. The conclusion of this study indicates that although theoretically adherence to medication can lead to disability in leprosy patients, the results of this study show something different. The difference between the results of this study and the theory may be due to other factors affecting disability. The suggestion is that the health center is expected to improve the monitoring system to evaluate patient compliance with treatment. Support from medical personnel and families is also needed to encourage patients to be more consistent in undergoing therapy.

Background: The frequency of hypertension continues to increase in line with the low compliance of hypertension sufferers in carrying out their treatment, one of which is a hypertension diet. Family support plays a crucial role in increasing self-confidence, motivation, and life satisfaction of hypertension sufferers. Family involvement in health education programs helps patients with their needs met, understanding when to seek medical help, and support for treatment compliance, which can prevent recurrence and serious complications due to hypertension. In addition, compliance with a hypertension diet is very important to keep blood pressure stable. A good understanding of the benefits of diet and the role of family and health workers in providing support can increase diet compliance. Conversely, low understanding can reduce awareness of the importance of diet, potentially causing ongoing complications. Therefore, hypertension management strategies must involve family support and education about the right diet to achieve optimal health outcomes. This study was conducted to analyze the Relationship Between Family Support and Diet Compliance in the Elderly in Controlling Hypertension at the Kedungmundu Health Center. Methods: This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Data were collected through demographic questionnaires, family support, and hypertension diet compliance, with a study sample consisting of 90 people using random sampling techniques. Somers' D test was chosen as the statistical analysis method for this research data. Results: Based on the study, it was found that some respondents received quite good family support, with a total of 57 people (63.3%) and were quite compliant with dietary compliance as many as 57 people (63.3%). The results of the Somers' D test showed that the significance value of p = 0.000 <α (0.05), so H0 was rejected. Conclusion: Based on the data analysis, the conclusion obtained is that there is a relationship between family support and dietary compliance in the elderly in controlling hypertension at the Kedungmundu Health Center, Semarang City.
