Digital learning design has great potential in shaping students' Islamic character in this digital era. However, its implementation faces several challenges, such as limited access to technology, difficulties in internalizing Islamic values through digital media, and a reduction in the essential social interaction required for character development. Additionally, distractions from technology, the limited availability of relevant Islamic content, and the lack of technological skills among teachers also pose significant barriers. To overcome these challenges, solutions are needed, including the improvement of technology infrastructure, the development of more relevant Islamic learning content, and teacher training in effective technology usage. Approaches that involve social interaction, digital skills development, and holistic character evaluation can enhance the effectiveness of digital learning in building Islamic character. Therefore, digital learning can serve as an effective tool for educating students with Islamic values, provided it is balanced with the right approach.

This research aims to analyze the interpretation of Surah Al-Baqarah verses 275–279, which comprehensively discuss the concept of usury (riba) in Islam. These verses emphasize the fundamental distinction between usury and lawful trade, while clearly stating the prohibition of riba as an economic practice that leads to injustice and exploitation. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, using primary sources such as the Qur’an, classical and contemporary tafsir books, and other relevant supporting literature. The findings indicate that riba is viewed as a practice that damages social and economic order because it contradicts the principles of justice, fairness, and mutual assistance. Furthermore, these verses highlight severe warnings for those who persist in usury and call upon believers to repent and abandon any remaining claims derived from riba. This research is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of the prohibition of riba and its relevance to modern economic systems, particularly in applying Islamic values of justice, ethical responsibility, and social welfare in contemporary society.

Perfume has been used since the time of the Prophet Muhammad, not only as a means to improve appearance and cleanliness, but also has spiritual, aesthetic, and health values. The aroma produced from natural ingredients such as flowers, wood, and spices is believed to be able to provide calm and improve the quality of life. This study aims to examine the content of natural chemicals in perfumes, such as essential compounds from plants, and their positive impacts on human physical and mental health. In addition, this study also reviews the use and recommendations of perfumes in the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, which show that the use of fragrances is part of an Islamic lifestyle that is sunnah. The method used is a systematic literature review, by examining various scientific sources related to natural chemistry and appropriate hadith books. The results of the study show that several natural compounds such as linalool, eugenol, citronellol, and others have antibacterial, antidepressant effects, and provide a sense of relaxation and comfort. From the perspective of the hadith, the use of perfume is a form of cleanliness, respect for others, and a reflection of noble morals.
