In addition to being programmatically successful in lowering TFR and slowing population growth rates, the Long-Term Contraceptive technique (MKJP) is an affordable technique of preventing conception. This study's objective was to examine variables associated with long-term contraceptive (MKJP) selection at the Gandasuli Community Health Center. The study design is cross-sectional and the research methodology is quantitative. The investigation was carried out in the workspace of the Gandasuli Community Health Center. 300 women of reproductive age made up the study's population, and a straightforward random selection procedure was used to choose 45 participants. A questionnaire was used to gather the data, which were then subjected to univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test. Age and MKJP choice did not correlate, according to the data (p- value = 0.09 > 0.05). The choice of MKJP was correlated with education (p-value = 0.003 < 0.05). The choice of MKJP was correlated with occupation (p-value = 0.003 < 0.05). The choice of MKJP and the husband's support are related, with a p value of 0.004 < 0.05. Parity and MKJP selection are related, with a p value of 0.003 < 0.05. Knowledge and MKJP selection are related, with a p-value of 0.003 < 0.05.

Postpartum depression is a mood disorder that occurs in mothers after childbirth, with symptoms that can appear from pregnancy until 4 weeks postpartum. This condition negatively impacts the psychological health of the mother and the development of the baby. This study aims to analyze factors associated with the risk of postpartum depression. The method used was quantitative with an analytical survey design through a cross-sectional approach. Data collection was carried out using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) questionnaire consisting of 10 questions. The results of the validity test showed a calculated r value of > 0.3610 and the reliability test obtained a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.67. The study sample consisted of 42 respondents selected using a total sampling technique, with inclusion criteria of mothers aged ≥18 years, in the period <6 weeks postpartum, and willing to be respondents. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results showed that all variables had a significant relationship with the risk of postpartum depression (p < 0.05). These variables include age (p=0.040), education (p=0.018), occupation (p=0.011), history of depression (p=0.024), complications (p=0.017), economic status (p=0.048), parity (p=0.016), type of delivery (p=0.006), husband's support (p=0.000), and family support (p=0.028). Therefore, it can be concluded that demographic, obstetric, and social support factors play an important role in the risk of postpartum depression. These results are expected to form the basis for prevention efforts and early intervention to improve postpartum maternal mental health.

The coverage of Complete Basic Immunization (Imunisasi Dasar Lengkap or IDL) in Maharani Village remains low at 38.8%, falling short of the national target of 95%. This condition increases the health risk of toddlers contracting Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (PD3I). This study aimed to determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge and husbands' support regarding the completeness of basic immunization for toddlers in Maharani Village, within the working area of Rumbai Bukit Public Health Center. This research employed a quantitative analytic method with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study comprised all mothers with toddlers in the area, with a sample of 73 respondents selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using validated questionnaires and observation of Maternal and Child Health (KIA) books, followed by univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square statistical test. The results indicated that the majority of toddlers had incomplete immunization status (61.6%), mothers had a low level of knowledge (61.6%), and respondents did not receive support from their husbands (58.9%). Statistical test results confirmed a very significant relationship between mothers' knowledge (p-value = 0.000) and husbands' support (p-value = 0.000) with the completeness of basic immunization. The conclusion confirms that knowledge and husband's support are the main determinant factors. It is suggested that Rumbai Bukit Public Health Center implement a more inclusive health promotion strategy by involving the active role of husbands in monitoring child health.

Maternal anxiety during the childbirth process is a common psychological condition that can potentially increase the risk of complications, prolong labor, and reduce the likelihood of a positive birthing experience. High anxiety levels in mothers may interfere with the effectiveness of labor, impact maternal and fetal well-being, and lead to increased medical interventions. One of the most important support systems during labor is the presence and active involvement of the husband. The husband’s role is not only limited to being present but also includes providing emotional, physical, and motivational support to the mother. Recognizing the importance of this role, this community service program was designed to enhance husbands’ understanding and skills in supporting their wives during childbirth, thereby helping to reduce maternal anxiety. The program consisted of several stages, including the delivery of structured health education sessions on maternal needs during labor, demonstrations of effective communication techniques, simulations of support during different stages of childbirth, and interactive discussions to address questions and share experiences. Through these activities, participants were encouraged to build empathy, strengthen their knowledge about labor, and develop the confidence to assist their wives effectively. The results of the program indicated a noticeable improvement in the husbands’ awareness of the importance of their role, as well as increased confidence in providing both emotional reassurance and physical assistance. Participants reported feeling better prepared to accompany their wives, manage unexpected situations, and foster a more supportive environment during childbirth. This initiative highlights the significant impact that targeted education and training for husbands can have on maternal psychological well-being, ultimately contributing to safer and more positive birth experiences.

Antenatal Care (ANC) is an essential component of maternal health services that plays a vital role in maintaining the health of the mother and fetus during pregnancy and delivery. In Indonesia, coverage of ANC services K1 has reached 100%, but coverage of K4 has only reached 78% and has not met the national target. A case study in Sidenreng Rappang Regency showed better results with K1 coverage of 98% and K4 reaching 97%, although there is still room for improvement. This quantitative study with a cross-sectional design aims to analyze the relationship between maternal knowledge, attitudes, and husband's support factors on the utilization of ANC services at the Compong Village Health Post. The study population included 190 mothers with toddlers registered at the Compong Village Health Post. Sampling was carried out using the Slovin formula with a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error, resulting in 127 respondents as the research sample. The data collection method was carried out through a structured questionnaire containing questions about respondent characteristics, level of knowledge, attitudes towards ANC, and level of husband's support. Data analysis used the Chi-Square statistical test with a significance level of p<0.05 to determine the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The results revealed several important findings. First, there was a significant relationship (p=0.002) between maternal knowledge and utilization of ANC services. Second, maternal attitudes also showed a significant relationship (p=0.001) with the frequency of ANC visits. Third, husband's support was shown to have a significant influence (p=0.003) on maternal participation in ANC programs. These findings confirm the multifactorial role in determining ANC service utilization. Practical implications of this study include recommendations for improving health education programs that not only target pregnant women but also actively involve husbands.
