The integration of Islamic education into a nation’s educational system represents a strategic effort to align religious and national educational objectives under a unified policy framework. In many Muslim-majority countries, the responsibility for managing Islamic education is delegated to local governments as part of a broader national consensus involving various educational stakeholders. This arrangement, however, often raises tensions because education policy is inherently a political decision influenced by state interests and ideological considerations. The process of incorporating Islamic education within the national system reflects the dynamic interplay between religion and politics, where Islamic education both shapes and is shaped by political structures. This study explores how political power affects the development, autonomy, and implementation of Islamic education policies. The objective is to highlight the challenges of maintaining educational freedom and religious authenticity while ensuring state oversight and quality assurance. The findings emphasize that a deep understanding of educational politics enables Muslim educators and policymakers to advocate for Islamic education that aligns with Islamic principles yet remains relevant within the national educational framework. Therefore, the balance between state control and institutional independence is essential in realizing the holistic goals of Islamic education in contemporary society.

Cooperatives have a strategic role in supporting the local economy and improving community welfare. However, many cooperatives face challenges in managerial and leadership aspects that hinder their competitiveness. This article discusses the results of community service programs aimed at improving managerial capacity and leadership at the Prosperous Citizen Development Cooperative in Pamekasan. The approach used includes training, mentoring, and hands-on mentoring, with a focus on strengthening strategic planning, operational management, and innovative leadership skills. The target of the program is cooperative administrators and key members who have a strategic role in the organization. The results showed significant improvements in managerial skills, leadership mindsets, and member involvement in strategic decision-making. This program also has an impact on more professional cooperative management, increased competitiveness, and strengthening the cooperative's external network. However, the evaluation of the program identified several obstacles, such as participants' time constraints, low levels of digital literacy, and resistance to change. To overcome this obstacle, it is recommended that there be more focused continuous training, flexibility in implementation time, and collaboration with external parties such as the government and educational institutions. This article emphasizes the importance of strengthening the capacity of human resources to support the transformation of cooperatives into competitive economic entities. This approach not only provides internal benefits for cooperatives, but also contributes to the development of the local economy in a sustainable manner. Thus, this service model can be a reference for the development of cooperatives in other regions.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in encouraging economic equity in Indonesia by encouraging economic growth, encouraging innovation and creativity, and reducing unemployment. Among the various MSME sectors, the culinary business stands out because it is very promising due to the universal food needs. One of the culinary businesses, Roti Bakar Bahagia, located in Medang Lestari, Tangerang Regency, shows significant growth potential but faces challenges in optimizing digital marketing and payment systems. To overcome these challenges, community service activities are carried out to increase the digital presence and digital payment infrastructure of the business. The assistance provided includes designing and making logos, designing and recreating menu lists, creating Google Maps lists, and integrating digital payment systems through QRIS. These efforts proved to be very beneficial, equipping Roti Bakar Bahagia to increase its competitiveness and sustain growth in the dynamic culinary market.

The educational program “Strengthening Awareness of Rights and Obligations through an Educational Program at Class IIA Pamekasan Narcotics Prison” aims to improve the understanding of prisoners regarding their rights and obligations in the context of prison guidance. Implemented at Class IIA Pamekasan Narcotics Prison, the program integrates a participatory-based educational approach with materials covering basic rights, legal protection, and responsibilities as prisoners. Methods used include lectures, group discussions, and case simulations, with evaluation conducted through surveys and interviews. The results of the program showed a significant increase in prisoners' awareness of their rights and obligations, as well as positive changes in behavior and participation in prison activities. Challenges encountered include limited resources and initial resistance from some participants. However, the success of this program shows great potential for improving the quality of rehabilitation in prisons. Recommendations for similar programs include improved educational materials and adaptation for other prisons to expand the positive impact. This program makes an important contribution to the development of more effective and humane coaching practices in prison settings.

Drug abuse is a significant public health issue in Indonesia, especially in rural areas such as Mandangin Island Village, Sampang Regency. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of a legal education program as a preventive measure for drug abuse at MI Miftahul Ulum. The six-month program involved lectures, interactive discussions, and legal case simulations. The research methodology included data collection through questionnaires, interviews, and observations to assess improvements in students' knowledge and attitudes towards drugs. The results showed that there was a significant increase in students' knowledge regarding the legal aspects of drug abuse, with the average score increasing by 30% after attending the program. Participant responses showed high enthusiasm and a better understanding of the legal consequences. However, challenges such as limited time and resources need to be addressed to improve the effectiveness of the program. Recommendations for improvement include expanding time and resource allocation and integrating the program with other prevention efforts. The program is expected to serve as a model for the implementation of legal education in other educational settings to increase drug awareness and prevention more broadly.

However, its growth has been hampered by a lack of developed brand identity and limited digital marketing efforts. This community service activity aims to overcome these challenges by assisting Haochi Bites in creating a strong brand identity and expanding its digital marketing presence. The program begins with a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to identify internal and external factors that affect business performance. Furthermore, customized business support is provided, which results in the development of a new business logo and an improved digital marketing strategy through social media. In addition, the team facilitated product innovation by introducing new topping and sauce variants. The results of this community service activity increase the competitiveness of Haochi Bites and increase its market potential in the culinary sector in Tangerang.

English has become an important subject at the elementary school level, unlike when it was introduced at the middle school level. Today, English is included in the curriculum of elementary schools, as well as in kindergartens and early childhood education. English is introduced through enjoyable informal methods, such as playing and singing, to align with students' development. This aims to provide a strong foundation in foreign language acquisition. However, teaching English in remote areas like Samuda Kecil still faces challenges, such as a lack of resources and facilities. Digital technology, such as interactive videos from YouTube, is one innovation that has addressed these obstacles. The community service group at Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palangka Raya, who teaches at SDN 1 Samuda Kecil, uses the interactive video "Days of the Week" as a teaching medium. This video helps students listen to correct pronunciations and increases their motivation to learn. As a result, students find it easier to remember vocabulary and show significant improvement in understanding the material. Interactive media like this has proven effective in enhancing the quality of English learning in remote areas.

Business disputes are increasing in Indonesia along with the growth of economic relationships. Litigation is often perceived as time-consuming and costly, making Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) a more efficient and relationship-friendly alternative. This study aims to analyze the obstacles and opportunities in implementing ADR for business dispute resolution in Indonesia, based on the legal framework provided by Law Number 30 of 1999. The research employs a normative legal approach with descriptive analysis. Data were collected through literature reviews of legal regulations, academic literature, and journal articles. The findings reveal that although ADR holds significant potential for resolving business disputes efficiently and cost-effectively, its implementation faces several challenges. The primary obstacles include the lack of awareness among business actors about ADR's benefits, the perception that ADR lacks the legal authority compared to litigation, and the limited quality of mediators and arbitrators. The study also highlights the importance of enhancing the capacity of ADR practitioners through continuous training and educating business actors to build trust in this method. By addressing these challenges, ADR is expected to become the primary choice for resolving business disputes, fostering a conducive business environment, and supporting long-term economic growth in Indonesia.

The methods used in community service activities (PKM) are influenced by various factors, such as monotonous teaching methods, lack of teacher support, and the influence of technology. PKM uses interactive lecture methods that utilize media, discussions, and Q&A sessions to increase students’ learning motivation. This highlights the importance of motivation to support oneself in achieving goals and becoming a better individual. This community service aims to increase the learning motivation of students at SMKN 6 Serang cities, as motivation is one of the factors that influence students’ success. When someone is motivated to learn, they will achieve the desired learning outcomes. Motivation acts as a driving force to achieve good results. People engage in activities because they have motives. High learning motivation will yield optimal results. This activity aims to prepare students as participants who, based on their respective skills, can face challenges in starting their careers.

This article discusses a community service program carried out in Sidodadi Village, Surabaya City, with the aim of increasing public understanding of national insight and nationalism. This program involved 30 participants from various backgrounds through seminars, group discussions, and practical training. Participatory methods were applied to ensure active community involvement in the learning process. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the level of participant understanding, from 70% before the activity to 85% after. In addition, the positive response from participants reflects the success of this activity in instilling national values ​​that are relevant to everyday life. Despite challenges such as time constraints and uneven involvement, this activity has had a real impact on strengthening nationalism at the local level. This program concludes that strengthening national insight requires a systematic, educational, and sustainable approach. With the support of local governments and community participation, similar activities can be replicated in other regions to strengthen national unity.

Extension on Fish Cultivation in Buckets (Budikdamber) to groups of housewives aims to increase understanding, skills and independence in managing local resources to support family food security. This activity was carried out in Huangobotu Village, Dungingi District, Gorontalo City, using lecture, discussion and live demonstration methods. The material presented includes efficient fish cultivation techniques using buckets as a medium, as well as integration with plants as an integrated agricultural system. The results of the activity showed that participants had high enthusiasm in adopting this simple technology. In addition, they can manage fish and plant cultivation independently in the household environment, which can increase the fulfillment of family food needs. However, several challenges arise regarding water management and selecting appropriate fish feed. This program shows great potential in increasing food security, especially for housewives in urban areas with limited land. The long-term success of this program requires ongoing support in technical aspects and solving problems that arise during the implementation of Budikdamber. Through this program, it is hoped that a community will be created that is more independent in meeting the nutritional needs of the family, as well as playing a role in realizing family-based food security.

However, the business has encountered various challenges, particularly in managing raw material inventory. Therefore, it is crucial for Warung Awi to adopt a more effective and efficient inventory management system. Assistance with digital financial reports using the Jaraya application for culinary MSMEs aims to increase the understanding and skills of MSME players in managing financial reports in a more efficient and structured way. Culinary MSMEs often face challenges in accurate and transparent financial records, which can affect their business decisions and business growth. In this program, the Jaraya application is introduced as a practical solution to simplify the process of recording transactions and creating digital financial reports. Assistance is provided through direct training, application usage simulations, and discussions to overcome problems faced by business actors. The results of this assistance show an increase in MSME players' understanding of the importance of organized financial reports and their ability to use the Jaraya application to monitor cash flow, manage profit and loss, and make better business decisions. This program is expected to have a positive impact on more efficient financial management and support the growth of culinary MSMEs in the future.
