This Community Intervention activity aims to optimize the identity of Ujung Piring Village through place branding, which includes creating a village logo, profile video, and designing a site plan for the village square. The main problems faced by the village are the lack of a strong visual identity to optimise its potential and structured planning of village space/facilities. The methods used in the village site plan development activity were observation, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGDs). The results of the activity showed that the village logo successfully represented local values and history symbolically; the profile video was an effective medium for public communication; and the village square site plan provided direction for the development of a functional, aesthetic public space that supports social interaction. This activity proves that place branding can strengthen village identity, increase community engagement, and open up opportunities for village economic development. Further evaluation and monitoring are needed to assess the long-term impact of the implementation of this work program.

The Community Service (PkM) activity aimed to enhance the capacity of civil society to conduct effective public oversight of the East Lombok Regency Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for fiscal year 2025. The “Budget School” program, organized by the Pimpinan Daerah Pemuda Muhammadiyah in collaboration with the Indonesian Forum for Budget Transparency (FITRA) NTB and ITSKes Muhammadiyah Selong, provided participants with a comprehensive and critical analysis of the regional budget structure and allocation patterns. The key findings highlighted notable fiscal inefficiencies, particularly the disproportionately high allocation for Employee Spending (Belanja Pegawai), which indicates an urgent need for budget reallocation toward increasing Capital Expenditure (Belanja Modal). Such realignment is essential to accelerate infrastructure development, enhance public service delivery, and ensure broader socio-economic benefits for the community. The event, conducted on September 25, 2025, successfully improved fiscal literacy among youth and civil society actors by strengthening their understanding of fiscal governance and legal oversight mechanisms. Overall, the activity fostered collective awareness and encouraged active participation in promoting sustainable, transparent, and efficient regional financial management.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a very important and strategic role in supporting the overall economic structure, with a contribution of 61.97% to the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, MSMEs, especially in rural areas, still face fundamental challenges, such as a lack of understanding and implementation of modern marketing and digital technologies. This service focuses on strategic efforts to empower Rengginang Ibu Saliem MSMEs in Dolok Kahean Village through a digital transformation program. The method used is descriptive qualitative Action Research, designed for direct program implementation and evaluation. The results of the pre-intervention showed that there was a severe digital gap in Rengginang products, although they had a tested taste, but still relied on traditional marketing models. Strategic intervention is carried out through two main pillars, namely, branding optimization by creating the trademark "Rengginang Huta" and a professional logo. Then the implementation of digital marketing through the construction of a virtual storefront on @rengginanghuta_ibusaliem's Instagram account. This program has succeeded in transforming these MSMEs into entities that are ready to compete in the digital ecosystem, in line with the statement that digitalization is the main imperative for MSMEs to survive. However, the evaluation stage identifies the issue of sustainability and digital independence as the next challenge. Long-term success requires more intensive post-program mentoring, focusing on digital operational management, to ensure independence and achieve real impact on improvement in Dolok Kahean Village.

The findings of this study reveal that the GoFood advertisement titled “Breaking News” and the GrabFood advertisement “Hematematika” serve not only as promotional tools but also as media that shape consumer mindsets and behavior. Both advertisements strategically employ language, narrative, and structure to highlight the ideas of efficiency and modernity, which align with the demands of contemporary digital society. The GoFood advertisement presents a serious narrative that emphasizes economic issues, while GrabFood adopts a humorous approach and wordplay to establish a lighter and more entertaining connection with the audience. This analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach by examining video advertisements on YouTube, with a particular focus on persuasive language and visual representation. In this sense, advertisements are understood not merely as marketing strategies, but as communicative practices embedded with ideology. Through the messages they convey, the ads promote values of efficiency, frugality, and modernity, which ultimately influence the construction of consumer identity and behavior. The study applies Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis framework, which consists of textual analysis, discursive practice, and socio-cultural context. This approach allows researchers to explore how language in advertisements contributes to the construction of social reality, communicates particular perspectives, and encourages audiences to respond actively.

Intestinal parasitic infections caused by non-Soil Transmitted Helminths (non-STH), particularly Enterobius vermicularis, remain a public health problem in developing countries, including Indonesia. Transmission does not require soil as a medium but occurs through direct contact, autoinfection, or unclean household environments. In children, infection may cause perianal itching, sleep disturbances, loss of appetite, and secondary infections due to scratching, which can affect nutritional status, sleep quality, and overall growth and development. This study was conducted in Kupang City, an endemic area of helminthiasis, to determine the prevalence and risk factors of E. vermicularis infection among children aged 1–5 years. A cross-sectional design with total sampling was applied to 30 children living in RT 008/RW 003, Penfui Timur Village, Kupang Tengah District, from February to May 2025. Risk factor data were collected using structured questionnaires covering personal hygiene, environmental sanitation, socioeconomic status, and parental education. Infection was identified using the scotch tape technique and microscopic examination. The results showed a prevalence of 7% (2 out of 30 children), mainly among boys aged ≥4 years, with poor personal hygiene, inadequate sanitation, low economic status, and parental education at elementary school level or below. In conclusion, enterobiasis in children is influenced by a combination of behavioral, environmental, and socioeconomic factors. Prevention should not rely solely on mass deworming programs but also require continuous health education for parents, improved hygiene practices, and household sanitation.

This community service activity was carried out with the primary objective of improving the financial literacy of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pesawaran Regency. Financial literacy is considered a fundamental aspect in maintaining business continuity, as it is directly related to the ability of business actors to manage income, record transactions regularly, develop short-term and long-term financial plans, and utilize digital technology as a supporting tool. Low financial literacy is often an obstacle to the development of MSMEs, so interventions in the form of structured training and mentoring are essential. The activity method includes several stages, namely a pre-test to measure initial conditions, interactive delivery of training materials, direct practice using digital financial applications, and a post-test to disseminate learning outcomes. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in all measured indicators. Basic financial literacy increased by 10.16 points, financial recording skills increased by 14.47 points, the ability to prepare financial plans increased by 12.43 points, while financial digitalization experienced the highest performance with an increase of 18.12 points. These findings confirm that financial literacy training programs not only improve conceptual knowledge but also develop the practical skills essential for MSMEs to face the challenges of the modern economic era. This increased understanding and skills are expected to make Pesawaran MSMEs more independent, adaptable to digital technology developments, and more competitive.

The economic foundation of the village relies heavily on the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) rooted in local wisdom, which simultaneously function as drivers of economic growth and instruments of cultural preservation. This study seeks to examine the management practices, marketing strategies, and challenges faced by MSMEs in Panglipuran Village. The research applied qualitative methods, including field observation, in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, documentation review, and descriptive analysis. The findings reveal a strong synergy between customary values and economic activities, reflected in flagship products such as bamboo handicrafts, traditional cuisine, and signature beverages. Success factors include an effective organizational structure, the support of customary institutions, and the ability to adopt adaptive marketing approaches. Nonetheless, several challenges were identified, including limited utilization of digital marketing platforms, constraints in production capacity, and insufficient product innovation to meet the demands of broader markets. Recommendations highlight the importance of strengthening online marketing, diversifying product variations, and expanding cooperative networks both within and beyond the village. Overall, the study underscores the significant potential of culture-based MSMEs to enhance community welfare, increase competitiveness, and ensure the sustainability of local traditions within the dynamics of modern tourism.

Literacy is one of the key factors that hinders the development of human resources. To improve the quality of human resources, it is essential to focus on eliminating illiteracy within the population. One of the primary goals of this outreach activity is to enhance the literacy skills of the local community in Sitanggal Village, located in Larangan District, Brebes Regency, Central Java. The residents of Sitanggal Village primarily rely on farming and entrepreneurship for their income. However, due to the village's isolated location, difficult access, and low economic status, many residents face challenges in accessing proper education. As a result, the illiteracy rate in this area is relatively high, further exacerbating the cycle of poverty. To address this issue, a collaboration has been established with the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) Danawangsa Sitanggal, which has facilitated the eradication of illiteracy within the community. The literacy skills of the participants were assessed both before and after the program implementation using pre-tests and post-tests. The participants, aged between 35 and 59 years, totaled 50 individuals. The program was conducted in three stages: reading, writing, and arithmetic. Each stage was structured around specially designed teaching modules, employing engaging and interactive methods to ensure the participants' active involvement. The results of the program were highly encouraging. The participants' reading skills improved significantly, rising from 10% to 64%. Their writing skills saw a notable increase from 40% to 82%, and their counting skills improved drastically from 80% to 100%. These improvements highlight the success of the program and demonstrate the positive impact that literacy education can have on enhancing the overall quality of life for individuals in marginalized communities.

Awareness of environmental health is an important factor in maintaining community welfare, especially in developing urban areas. The city of Medan, as one of the major cities in Indonesia, still faces various environmental problems such as poor sanitation, garbage accumulation, and water pollution, which have an impact on public health. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the level of public awareness of environmental health in the city of Medan. This study uses a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected from 100 randomly selected respondents using a structured questionnaire, which measures people's level of awareness of environmental health and various factors that influence it, such as education level, media exposure, and economic status. Data analysis was carried out univariately, bivariately with Chi-square test, and multivariate using logistic regression to determine the relationship between independent variables and the level of public awareness. The results of the study show that factors such as education level, media exposure, and economic status have a significant influence on the level of public awareness. People with higher levels of education, better media exposure, and better economic status tend to have higher awareness of environmental health issues. The implications of these findings suggest that improving environmental education and more effective dissemination of information can be an important effort in raising public awareness. Community-based programs that focus on education and strengthening environmental information can be a strategic step in overcoming environmental problems in urban areas. The results of this research are expected to be a reference for the formulation of more effective policies and programs in increasing environmental awareness in urban communities.

This community service program is designed to improve the competitiveness and marketing effectiveness of YAIKI's Shoe Business Partners, located in Karangdieng Village, Mojokerto Regency. This improvement effort is carried out through the creation of a digital product catalog integrated with QR codes as a modern promotional medium. The digital product catalog is systematically structured, interactive, and easily accessible, containing comprehensive information on the types, designs, sizes, prices, and advantages of the shoes produced. The catalog's attractive appearance is designed using design software and online platforms, thus conveying a professional impression and increasing consumer appeal. Furthermore, QR codes are created and placed on each product and promotional materials such as brochures, packaging, and posters. By scanning the QR code with a smartphone, consumers can directly connect to the digital catalog without having to manually search for information, thus making the marketing process more efficient and responsive to market needs. The program implementation method includes training in digital catalog creation using free or low-cost graphic design software and online platforms, the creation of QR codes that directly link to the catalog, and technical assistance for partners in implementing this technology into their marketing strategies. The program evaluation demonstrated increased partner understanding of digital technology, ease of product information delivery, and the potential for increased sales and broader market reach. Through this innovation, local shoe businesses in Karangdieng Village have a greater opportunity to compete in the modern market. The implementation of digital catalogs and QR codes is expected to be a practical and sustainable solution to support business growth, strengthen brand image, and encourage economic independence for the local community.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) play a crucial role in driving local economic growth, particularly in the food and beverage sector. However, many UMKM, such as Cipta Rasa Mulya, still face significant challenges in adopting modern marketing approaches to expand their reach and enhance their competitiveness. This community service program focuses on addressing two major issues: the lack of effective digital marketing utilization and the weak brand identity—especially in packaging design—of the dairy products produced by the UMKM. Through a structured and intensive training program, this initiative aims to provide UMKM actors with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in rebranding and digital marketing. The activities include workshops on digital branding strategies, hands-on mentoring sessions for social media management, product photography, and brand storytelling, as well as ongoing evaluations to monitor progress and implementation. The expected outcomes of this program are multifaceted, including improved brand awareness among consumers, more attractive and informative packaging, increased product variety, and broader market reach through the use of digital platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and e-commerce channels. By enhancing the UMKM’s ability to present their products professionally and utilize social media for marketing purposes, this program supports the development of more competitive and sustainable business practices. In the long term, it is anticipated that such interventions will not only increase the visibility of Cipta Rasa Mulya’s dairy products but also strengthen their position in both local and national markets. Ultimately, this initiative highlights the importance of combining technological adaptation with creative branding in empowering UMKM and stimulating inclusive economic growth.
