The preservation of the nation's collective memory is a very important aspect in maintaining national identity, but its existence today is threatened by physical damage and limited access to information. This study aims to explain effective preservation methods to ensure the sustainability of the collective memory as a historical heritage. The methodology applied is qualitative descriptive by collecting data through literature review and document analysis from various literature sources and regulations related to archives. The results of this study show that the implementation of the current preservation strategy still faces major problems, especially the difference between the expected tennis standards and the reality of limited funds and the ability of human resources to carry out restoration. In addition, the digitalization process has not been fully linked to the planned long-term digital preservation management. The implications of this study show that strengthening the collaboration and technical capabilities of archivists is very important so that all historical artifacts of the nation are maintained in their authenticity, protected, and can be widely accessed by future generations.

The rapid development of digital technology has fostered an instant culture that prioritizes results over processes, leading to a diminished appreciation of character formation through persistence and repetition. This study aims to examine scriptwriting strategies in the production of a feature video entitled “Ballet: Repeated Steps, Formed Self” as a representation of the value of process in character development. This research employs a qualitative practice-based approach, focusing on the stages of pre-production, production, and post-production, particularly the role of the scriptwriter in constructing the narrative structure. The findings indicate that the application of a human interest approach through the integration of interviews, practice visuals, and voice-over narration produces a reflective and communicative storytelling experience. Furthermore, the systematic use of a three-act structure proves effective in organizing the dramatic flow, enabling audiences to better understand the conveyed message. Scriptwriting serves as the fundamental framework in guiding narrative construction and audiovisual integration. The implications of this study suggest that well-planned scriptwriting strategies can enhance message delivery in social issue-based feature video production while reinforcing the role of audiovisual media as a reflective medium for understanding the value of process in contemporary society.

This study examines the directing approach in portraying the process of character formation through a video feature titled “Ballet: Repetitive Steps, a Formed Self.” The research is grounded in the phenomenon of instant culture in contemporary digital society, which tends to prioritize rapid outcomes over gradual processes. The objective of this study is to explore how directing strategies can construct repetitive ballet training as a meaningful visual narrative that reflects discipline, consistency, and perseverance. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a practice-based approach, where data are collected through observation, documentation, and the creative production process. The findings indicate that directing elements, including shot composition, rhythm, and audio-visual integration, play a significant role in transforming repetitive movements into a dynamic and progressive narrative. Repetition is not merely presented as a technical exercise but as a symbolic process of character development. The study also reveals that visual storytelling can effectively communicate reflective meanings and engage audiences emotionally. The implication of this research suggests that audiovisual works, particularly video features, can serve as a medium to challenge instant-oriented perspectives by emphasizing the value of process in personal development.

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing through Instagram on purchasing decisions at UMKM Jamu Bu Bekti in Karawang Regency. The research uses a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to consumers who have seen or purchased the products. The data analysis technique applied is regression analysis to examine the relationship between marketing content and promotional variables on consumer purchasing decisions. The results show that marketing content shared on Instagram does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. However, the content is considered quite attractive, informative, and helpful in providing product information to consumers. On the other hand, promotion has a positive and significant impact on increasing consumer interest and encouraging purchasing decisions. This indicates that consumers are more responsive to promotional strategies such as discounts, bonuses, or special offers rather than relying solely on content quality. These findings suggest that promotional strategies play a crucial role in digital marketing, especially for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Therefore, business owners are advised to focus more on creating attractive, creative, and targeted promotional activities on social media to boost sales. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective, efficient, and sustainable digital marketing strategies for SMEs in the future.

The documentary film “Dari Rasi Jadi Mimpi: Langkah Menjaga Tradisi” was an audiovisual work that portrayed the life and traditions of the Cireundeu Indigenous Community in Cimahi, West Java, with a focus on the consumption of Rasi (cassava rice) as a symbol of food security and cultural identity. The background of this work was based on concerns regarding the gradual marginalization of local traditions due to modernization and changing consumption patterns. This project aimed to document and visually represent the cultural values of the Cireundeu Indigenous Community through an ethical and authentic documentary approach. The production stages consisted of preliminary research, field observation, visual concept development, filming, and post-production. During the production process, the author acted as the Director of Photography (DoP), responsible for visual planning, camera blocking, composition, and lighting strategies adapted to the indigenous environment and technical limitations on site. The results indicated that a visual approach prioritizing authenticity, the use of natural lighting, and visual ethics successfully strengthened the documentary narrative without diminishing its aesthetic value. In conclusion, this documentary functioned not only as an audiovisual work but also as a cultural archive, an educational medium, and a sustainable tool for promoting local culture.

Marriage agreements frequently give rise to juridical issues when intersecting with inheritance law, particularly within the context of second marriages. This study is based on an inheritance dispute examined in the Palangka Raya District Court Decision Number 21/Pdt.G/2022/PN.Plk, wherein the second wife argued the existence of a marriage agreement to annul the inheritance rights of children from the previous marriage. Using a normative juridical method with statutory and case approaches, this research evaluates the agreement’s validity against formal registration requirements and freedom of contract limitations. The findings indicate that the marriage agreement invoked by the defendant was declared invalid and lacked binding legal force due to noncompliance with the formal registration requirements under Article 29 of the Marriage Law and the inclusion of clauses contrary to inheritance provisions in the Civil Code, particularly concerning the rights of children as lawful heirs. Consequently, the disputed property was classified as marital property to be distributed among all heirs in accordance with applicable law. This study affirms that freedom of contract in marriage agreements is limited and cannot override legal protection of legitimate heirs.

The main issue in this study is the practice of ministers concurrently holding positions as party chairpersons, despite conflicting with the provisions of Article 23 of Law No. 39 of 2008 concerning State Ministries, which prohibits ministers from concurrently serving as leaders of organizations funded by the state budget (APBN/APBD), including political parties that receive APBN/APBD funds. The focus of this research is on the reasons why the president appoints ministers from political party leadership and the implications of such dual positions. The method used is normative legal research with statutory and conceptual approaches, and data collection through literature review of regulations, literature, and other official documents. The study reveals that the main factors behind appointing ministers from party leadership are the dynamics of the multiparty system requiring the president to rely on coalition support, regulatory ambiguity regarding the prohibition of dual office holding, and political pragmatism that undermines the party’s role as representatives of the people. The implications of this practice include violations of Law No. 39 of 2008, weakening of checks and balances mechanisms, potential for transactional politics, strengthening of oligarchy and political dynasties, and violation of good governance principles. To address these issues, a revision of Article 23 of Law No. 39 of 2008 is necessary to make the prohibition of dual offices clearer, strengthen law enforcement mechanisms, ensure transparency in ministerial appointments, and secure the president’s commitment to meritocratic principles.

Background: Anemia in pregnancy is a public health problem that can increase the risk of serious complications, such as premature birth, maternal and infant mortality, and impaired fetal growth and development. One effort to prevent anemia is by consuming iron tablets (iron supplements). However, the success of this intervention is greatly influenced by the behavior of pregnant women in consuming these tablets, which includes knowledge, attitudes, and actions. If pregnant women have a good understanding and attitude, and implement iron tablet consumption appropriately, the risk of anemia can be reduced. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between iron consumption behavior (based on knowledge, attitudes, and actions) with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Kuala Bangka Community Health Center, North Labuhan Batu Regency, in 2022. Method: This study used a descriptive analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 20 pregnant women selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire covering knowledge, attitudes, and actions of pregnant women regarding iron consumption, as well as the incidence of anemia. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Results: The majority of respondents had sufficient knowledge (45%), insufficient attitudes (70%), and insufficient iron consumption actions (70%). Moderate anemia was found in 70% of respondents. Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.005), attitudes (p=0.001), and practices (p=0.000) and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between iron consumption behavior (knowledge, attitudes, and practices) and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Increased education and support for pregnant women regarding the importance of proper iron consumption to prevent anemia during pregnancy is needed.

This study discusses the practice of "capture marriage" (pakondong) still carried out in Ana Engge Village, Kodi District, West Sumba Regency, as part of the local tradition. Capture marriage is a practice where a man "captures" his prospective wife without the consent of the woman or her family. This practice has been ongoing for a long time and is considered part of local culture. However, when viewed from the perspective of national law, particularly Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage, this practice raises controversy. The law emphasizes that marriage must be conducted with the free consent of both parties, as stated in Article 6, Paragraph 1, which asserts that a marriage is only valid if both parties agree. This research uses an empirical juridical method, with interview techniques and literature studies, to examine the legality of capture marriage under positive law. The results show that capture marriage contradicts the basic principles of a valid marriage because it does not meet the requirement of free consent from both parties involved. Furthermore, capture marriage is also considered a violation of women's human rights, as women should have the right to choose their life partners without coercion or pressure. This practice also degrades women's dignity, as their rights as independent individuals to make their own choices should be respected. The conclusion of this study is that capture marriage cannot be justified under national law because it contradicts the principle of free and mutual consent. Therefore, efforts are needed from various parties, including the government, law enforcement, customary leaders, and society, to provide education on the importance of consent in marriage. Additionally, the modernization of customary law is crucial to align it with constitutional values and human rights, ensuring the protection of women's rights and promoting the development of a more just and equitable culture.
