This research was conducted to describe the impact of fatherlessness on children's socio-emotional conditions. This topic was chosen because the presence of a father in a child's life has a very important role in shaping the child's socio-emotional aspects. However, the phenomenon of fatherlessness is increasing in society, whether due to divorce, problems in marriage, father's death, or fathers working outside the city. This research uses a systematic literature review to analyze data obtained from various sources. Based on the data findings, it can be seen that children who experience fatherlessness tend to have low self-confidence, have difficulty adapting to the social environment, and experience socio-emotional problems such as loneliness and loss. These impacts can be seen from various phases of development starting from early childhood, adolescence, even to early adulthood.

Marriage is a sacred vocation that signifies a profound commitment between husband and wife, rooted in love and faith. Many couples, however, lack the emotional and mental readiness to navigate marital challenges. This study examines the impact of Pre-Marriage Catechesis (KPP) on the emotional and mental readiness of Catholic couples in the Holy Spirit Cathedral Parish, Denpasar. Using a pretest- posttest experimental design, data were collected from 89 participants (44 males, 45 females) in November 2024, utilizing the Sukoon Marriage Readiness Scale. Before KPP, participants were categorized as "Highly Ready for Marriage" (20%, 18 individuals), "Moderately Ready" (50%, 45 individuals), and "Not Ready" (30%, 26 individuals). After completing KPP, the "Highly Ready" group increased to 65% (58 individuals), "Moderately Ready" remained at 30% (27 individuals), and "Not Ready" decreased to 5% (4 individuals). Pearson correlation analysis showed a strong relationship between KPP and readiness (r = 0.842, p = 0.000). Gender had no significant effect (p > 0.05), indicating KPP's universal applicability. The study concludes that KPP significantly enhances couples' readiness for marriage, contributing 98.7% to their emotional and mental preparedness. Recommendations include adapting KPP modules to address modern couples’ needs and increase program efficacy.

A human being was created to live in pairs as husband and wife through marriage. Marriage is a spiritual bond between a man and a woman as husband and wife with the aim of forming a happy and eternal family or household. Ideally, women marry at the age of 21-25 years, while men at the age of 25-28 years. It is recommended that getting married at this age can be done in terms of the health of the woman's reproductive organs, which are ready to conceive and give birth. Likewise, men of this age are ready to fulfill their obligations as head of the family (Fatmawati etal., 2019).  This community service activity takes the form of counseling about the impact of early marriage on teenagers in Darul Amin Village, Lawe Alas District, Southeast Aceh Regency. This activity was attended by 30 participants with the aim of increasing young women's knowledge about the impact of early marriage on young women. The results of this activity were an increase in the knowledge of young women before and after being given counseling, namely from an average knowledge score of 50 to 80. It is hoped that this activity can be useful for young women and not to engage in early marriage to prevent the effects, namely miscarriage, anemia, birth weight low, sexually transmitted diseases.
