Hypertension remains a major health problem with high prevalence, often linked to poor lifestyle habits and low self-efficacy in managing one’s health. Effective hypertension management requires not only support from health professionals but also encouragement from family members who can remind patients to adhere to treatment and provide emotional support. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy, lifestyle, and family support with hypertension among Prolanis members in the working area of Puskesmas Oesapa, Kupang City. Using an observational analytical approach with a cross-sectional design, the study involved 65 hypertensive Prolanis members selected through simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted using a structured questionnaire. The findings showed significant relationships between self-efficacy, physical activity, and diet with hypertension status (p-value = 0.000). However, resting habits were not significantly associated with hypertension (p-value = 0.063), and family support also showed no significant relationship (p-value = 0.388). The study recommends that the Puskesmas continue to strengthen Prolanis activities and enhance health education, particularly regarding the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through proper dietary management and regular light physical activity tailored to the abilities of Prolanis members.

Sampling was carried out using a simple random sampling technique with a total of 33 students. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship between hedonistic lifestyle and consumptive behavior in psychology students at Sahid University Surakarta. The method that will be used to test the hypothesis in this study uses the Pearson correlation test with the Pearson product moment correlation technique. The results of this study showed that there was no relationship between hedonistic lifestyle and consumptive behavior in psychology students at Sahid University Surakarta with a value of r = 0.135, with p = 0.455. Based on these results, the hypothesis in this study is rejected, which means that the lower the hedonistic lifestyle of students, the higher the consumptive behavior of students, and vice versa, the higher the hedonistic lifestyle of students, the lower the consumptive behavior of students.

A hedonic lifestyle is a lifestyle in which individuals spend time and money that serves only as motivation, a social class with conceptions that reflect the individual who uses it. The study aims to describe the relationship between self-control and hedonistic lifestyles in students at Padang State University. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study consisted of students at State University Padang with a total sample of 119 students using purposive techniques. The data collection using a scale with a hedonist lifestyle measurement tool organized by Amelia Acmel (2022) refers to the hedonistic lifestyle aspects proposed by Engel et al (1994), and the self-control measuring tool developed by Anggraeni (2022), referred to Averril (1973)'s self-controllment aspects as the instruments used in this research. Data analysis in this study uses product moment correlation techniques. The results of the analysis showed that there was a negative relationship between self-control and hedonistic lifestyles in students at Padang State University with statistical results of correlation coefficients r = -0,379 and p = 0,000 (p<0,5).
