This study aims to explore students’ perceptions of using Canva as a digital storytelling platform to enhance their visual and written narrative skills in English writing. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method involving 34 students who participated in a questionnaire consisting of eight closed-ended statements and two open-ended questions. The data were analyzed descriptively, using percentages to support qualitative interpretation. The findings revealed that most students perceived Canva as an accessible, enjoyable, and effective tool for developing writing skills. Students agreed that Canva helps them visualize ideas, organize stories logically, and combine words with images creatively. Moreover, Canva was found to improve students’ motivation, confidence, and emotional expression in English writing. These results are consistent with previous studies by Utami and Suriyani (2022), Febriansyah et al. (2023), Siregar et al. (2024), Herwani (2024), Eragamreddy and Joseph (2025), Hafidzin et al. (2025), and Jayanti et al. (2025), which collectively highlight Canva’s role in supporting writing engagement, creativity, and organization. The study concludes that Canva transforms traditional writing into a multimodal and meaningful process, combining linguistic and visual literacy. Therefore, Canva can be considered an innovative pedagogical tool that promotes creative thinking, digital competence, and expressive communication in the English writing classroom.

This study aims to examine the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Canva as instructional media in elementary school learning, particularly at SDN 069 Mompang Julu, Indonesia. The research employed a qualitative approach with a field study design. The research subjects consisted of elementary school teachers and students, while data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the use of AI and Canva assists teachers in designing more creative, visual, and efficient learning media, as well as increasing students’ motivation and engagement in the learning process. The discussion reveals that the integration of these technologies creates a more adaptive and engaging learning experience; however, it still faces challenges related to teachers’ digital competence and technological infrastructure. The study concludes that the integration of AI and Canva has strong potential to improve the quality of elementary education when supported by continuous teacher training and adequate technological facilities.

This research examines the use of technology in increasing learning interactivity in Indonesia. The aim of the research is to analyze various forms of educational technology used, identify their impact on learning interactivity, and explore the challenges and opportunities in their implementation. The method used is a systematic literature review by analyzing published scientific articles. The research results show that the use of technology such as learning management systems, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence significantly increases learning interactivity. However, there are challenges such as limited infrastructure and digital competence of educators. In conclusion, the use of technology has great potential in increasing learning interactivity, but requires a comprehensive and sustainable implementation strategy.

Microteaching is a simulation or training for prospective teachers to explore the ability of skills in teaching that combines the components of learning. The purpose of this study was to analyse the implementation of microteaching learning in terms of the use of various biology learning media with a touch of technology. The method used is descriptive quantitative with observation sheets and interviews. This research uses a squential explanatory design that combines quantitative and qualitative methods sequentially the first stage of collecting and analysing quantitative data followed by collecting and analysing qualitative data to help explain quantitative results. The results of the study regarding the pattern of using technology-based learning media showed that PowerPoint 92% and learning videos 78% were the most widely used media in microteaching practice. While the level of effectiveness of the media used varies. The 4.6% digital microscope showed a high level of effectiveness even though the frequency of use was still low. This indicates that high technology-based learning media has considerable potential in improving the quality of learning. Furthermore, the analysis of students' digital competence shows that 70% of students have good to very good mastery of technology. Furthermore, creativity in media development shows an even distribution while time management is still a challenge for 35% of students at a sufficient or insufficient level. The use of technology-based learning media in micro teaching has considerable potential, but still faces several challenges. A systematic and comprehensive approach is needed to optimise the use of technology in developing the teaching competence of prospective biology teachers.
