The illustrated story book The Legend of Harau Valley is a book designed by bringing folklore from Harau. This comic book was created to preserve local folklore and become a medium for introducing folklore to the younger generation. Currently, the younger generation's interest in culture is decreasing, so many people don't know the story about this legend. With this design, it is hoped that the Legend of Harau Valley will be increasingly recognized by the wider community so that it becomes a regional identity and its sustainability is maintained. The illustrations in this design use a semi-realist and full color illustration style to make it more easily accepted and liked by the younger generation. The method used in designing this picture book is the glass box method based on data obtained through observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation of the folklore The Legend of Harau Valley. In the problem solving process, 5W+1H analysis is used. This design resulted in a main media in the form of a picture story book entitled "The Legend of the Creation of the Harau Valley". This project focuses on the significant role of the gaming industry as an agent for spreading popular culture and global lifestyle from various countries, as well as its potential impact on local culture. Especially in the Indonesian market, the penetration of foreign cultures through digital platforms has become a phenomenon that has an impact on local cultural identity. However, as a successful example, Japan in promoting its traditional culture through media such as games, anime, and other products, provides inspiration for an approach that has the potential to strengthen the sustainability of local culture. This design aims to explain how character design in the game industry can be adopted as a tool to introduce and describe cultural values, myths, and philosophies of the East Kalimantan Dayak tribe. This approach will involve developing character designs that take references from the traditions and local wisdom of the Dayak tribe. The design will be a means of providing a unique and engaging visual experience, while simultaneously responding to concerns about the preservation of traditional culture. The methodology used in this research is a design thinking approach with a 5W+1H analysis approach. These design steps would result in a character called "Uyau Man Kan," which has its roots in the traditional folklore of the Dayak people of East Kalimantan. This character is not only a visual manifestation of the culture, but also a bridge for a deeper understanding of the cultural heritage of the Dayak tribe.

Waria are one of many different types of sexual intermediaries, including homosexuals and hermaphrodites who occupy the spectrum between pure men and pure women (Susan Stryker, 2008). From this quote, it can be understood that waria is like one who occupies a middle position between the concepts of men and women. The most obvious thing that distinguishes waria from men and women is the way they look that is not in accordance with the general sex that has been assigned to them since birth. Those who are biologically born male, in fact they (waria) look the opposite and resemble women. Waria often receive bad treatment from society such as discrimination, mental and physical violence and other actions that are contrary to morality. On May 2, 2022 waria who are members of the wagayo organization (Waria and gay organization) in Jember, East Java took action to commemorate national education day. From the attached news, the waria provide information that waria also want to get the same place as people in general in the world of education. This is enough to explain the existence of discrimination against transgender women even in the world of education which results in many transgender people being forced to drop out of school because they cannot stand ridicule from both friends and educators at their schools. This has implications for the cause of the low human resources of waria.

Globalization is a process of international integration that occurs due to the exchange of worldviews, products, thoughts, and other aspects of culture. Globalization has become a significant phenomenon in contemporary society and has had a great impact on the economy. One of the main impacts of globalization on the economy of contemporary societies and the acceleration of international trade. In addition, globalization has encouraged a freer flow of investment between countries. But the effects of globalization on the economy also pose challenges that need to be addressed. Increased global competition could threaten the survival of weaker sectors of the local economy. Local companies have to compete with multinationals that have greater resources, more advanced technology, and lower production costs. This can lead to a decline in local employment and difficulty for traditional sectors to survive. In addition, the effects of globalization also create greater economic inequality. Not all segments of contemporary society can access the same opportunities and benefits from globalization. Income inequality, social inequality, and economic inequality may increase, especially between groups connected to the global economy and groups. The impact of globalization on culture has also raised concerns about the loss of local cultural identity. Amid the influence of dominant global cultures, there is a risk that local traditions, languages and values become marginalized or forgotten.

This writing departs from the author's concern for the reality that often occurs in the leadership of Catholic Youth in fostering a spirit of leadership, where the leadership spirit of OMK is still lacking because they often forget responsibility, which is caused by the influence of the times which makes them more happy themselves, have their own opinion , act alone and boast about themselves, so that they still have not found their true identity as OMK. The purpose of this writing is to understand and understand the theory of OMK leadership and to understand the spirit of creative and innovative leadership in OMK. The method used in this thesis is literature review.
