Indonesia has experienced several curriculum changes from 1947 to 2013. These changes are related to how important and strategic the role of the curriculum is in implementing the national teaching system. The 2013 curriculum is an integrated competency and character-based curriculum which is a refinement of the Education Unit Level Curricum (KTSP). The 2013 curriculum places more emphasis on character education, especially at the basic level, which will become the foundation for the next level. This research is descriptive quantitative research which aims to describe or create an objective picture of a situation, starting from data collection and answering the research questions that have been asked. Descriptive quantitative research also aims to obtain broader and deeper information by summarizing various conditions, situations, phenomena, or various variables and circumstances that occurred during the research by presenting what actually happened. The research results show that the obstacles in implementing the 2013 Curriculum come from the government, institutions, teachers and students. This seems to be appropriate that there are several factors that influence implementing the curriculum, namely: support from agencies and school principals, support from fellow teachers, support from students and parents, and support from within the teacher are the main elements. When the elements above encounter obstacles, they will certainly hinder the process of implementing a curriculum.

The ever-growing global business world provides opportunities for the food industry, the large number of fast food restaurants in Indonesia causes intense competition in fighting for the quality and quality of the products produced. Researchers chose Richeese Factory as the research target because it is the only fast food restaurant that has superior product innovation, namely crispy fried chicken topped with spicy sauce and cheese sauce so that it can attract consumers' attention when consumers are more selective and innovative in choosing fast food restaurant products. A quantitative approach was taken in this study. A questionnaire created with Google Form media was used to collect data. 100 respondents made up the sample, which was selected through non-probability sampling methods. In this method, the population or elements selected as samples do not have the same chances or opportunities. This research is motivated by the importance of critical discourse analysis in the Representation of Indonesian Leaders Post Covid-19. This study aims to reveal the representation of the Indonesian government after covid-19 through covid-19 news. This research method uses a critical paradigm that focuses on multilevel methods. Discourse analysis in research also focuses on the ideology carried by online media. The approach in this study uses an approach developed by van Dijk. Research data is sourced from COVID-19 news throughout 2020. The accuracy of this research is also maintained because it uses layered search sources according to the critical discourse analysis approach in accordance with Fairclough's theory. The results of the discourse analysis show that CNN and BCC have similarities in representing the handling of Covid-19 in Indonesia, namely: the Indonesian government, under Jokowi's leadership, is not able to handle Covid-19 properly. From the point of view of critical discourse analysis, such representations contain partiality. This strengthens van Dijk's (2013) opinion that a text contains dominance and partisanship. In fact, according to Holmes & Castañeda (2016), representation can be considered as truth. The representation provided by CNI and BCI is also motivated by social elements, as stated by Fairclough (2013) that discourse is always related to social elements, including power, ideology, institutions, and other identities.

The research method used was a qualitative experiment, starting with taking broken piston rings No. 2 and 3, cutting the piston rings and testing them with hardness tests and composition tests carried out at the Indonesian State Maritime Polytechnic and Undip Central Java Integrated Lab. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the used broken ring number 3 has the highest hardness of 140.26 HB and the used ring number 2 is 131.50 HB, so it can be concluded that the piston ring that has been used and exposed to high heat causes an increase in hardness and causes it to break. The composition test results showed that the carbon content of the new ring no. 2 was the highest at 15.30% and that in the used ring no. 2 was 12.08% because the compression ring was in direct contact with the compression chamber or in contact with heat. For the used number 3 piston ring, the carbon content is 10.43 and the new one is 11.02 because it is positioned below the compression ring and is not in direct contact with heat. for the used ring no.2, the Silicon (Si) content is low, namely 2.15% compared to the new one, 2.75% because the nature of Silicium is that it is resistant to high temperatures and as a compression ring compared to ring no.3, fracture occurs because there are no Manganese or Phosphate elements. which is wear resistant, strong and elastic. The microstructure of piston ring No. 2 is broken and the new two piston rings are less dense and have rough gaps. The broken piston ring structure of No. 3 and the new one looks a bit gray and has high levels of graphite iron and carbon elements.

This research is motivated by the lack of availability of learning media usage and conventional learning. Therefore, an effectiveness test of the periodic table of the ladder media was conducted to improve the learning outcomes of students at SMKN 1 BP BR on the topic of periodic table of elements. This research is a pre-experimental study aimed at assessing the effectiveness of media usage using data analysis techniques through pretest-posttest assessments. The population in this study is the students of class X TBSM SMKN 1 BP BR. The research instrument is a learning outcomes test consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions that have been pilot tested. The data analysis techniques used are the t-test to determine differences in learning outcomes and the N-Gain test to determine the improvement in students' understanding. The results of the study show that there are differences and improvements in students' learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the average posttest score of 86.67. The improvement in learning outcomes is also supported by hypothesis testing conducted with the t-test, obtaining a t-value (3.45) > t-table (1.21). Another supporting evidence is the average N-Gain test score of 0.75 with a high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the periodic table of the ladder media is effective in improving students' learning outcomes with a high category. This media is suitable for chemistry learning that is symbolic, as it will be more engaging and challenging through direct student involvement in the learning process.

Rock mass is a volume of rock consisting of rock material in the form of minerals, texture, composition and also consisting of discontinuous planes, forming a material and interconnected with all elements as a unit. The rock mass itself is composed of several intact rocks which basically have isotropic, continuous and homogeneous properties. However, the conditions found in the field are different, namely anisotropic, discontinuous and heterogeneous. These properties will certainly influence the test results in the uniaxial test. There are several factors that influence the results of uniaxial rock tests, one of which is the scale effect. The purpose of this test is to determine and analyze the effect of rock sample size on the uniaxial compressive strength value of claystone. This rock testing was carried out at the Mineral and Coal Technology Laboratory and the rock sampling locations were in Palaran District, Samarinda City and in North Samarinda District, Samarinda City. In this uniaxial compressive strength test, 3 side widths with different lengths will be used. After carrying out the uniaxial compressive strength test, the average uniaxial compressive strength test value was obtained in each formation, such as the Balang Island formation, the average rock compressive strength test value was 1.68 Mpa and the Balang formation, the average rock compressive strength test value was 3.10. Mpa. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the larger the sample size, the smaller the rock compressive strength test value tends to be.

This study aims to determine the comparison between Indonesian and Malay from a phonological aspect by using the cartoon series "Upin and Ipin" as research subjects. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods using free listening techniques. Researchers found phonetic elements in the entire Malay language that aired on the episode Season 15 Gerobok Rezeki. It has been found that Malay and Indonesian have almost the same function of stress, tone, intonation and duration in the pronunciation of vocabulary sounds. The difference between the two is the nasal sound that is more inherent in Malay. There are also differences in phonological aspects in the form of changing the vowel "a‟ to the vowel "ə‟ in some vocabulary words with the same pattern of wording and meaning.
