This study explores the profound impact of teacher personality competence on student character formation through a descriptive narrative lens grounded in the sociology of education. Education is not merely a technical transfer of knowledge but a complex social process where the teacher acts as a pivotal moral agent and role model. By synthesizing classical sociological paradigms—Functionalism, Conflict Theory, and Symbolic Interactionism—with contemporary empirical evidence, this article argues that a teacher's personality is a dynamic social construct that shapes the "hidden curriculum" and the overall school climate. The narrative analysis reveals that traits such as empathy, integrity, and social justice are not just individual attributes but essential tools for moral socialization and the internalization of collective values. The study finds that teachers who embody these virtues foster a sense of social belonging and ethical responsibility in students, effectively bridging the gap between individual identity and societal expectations. The article concludes that strengthening teacher personality competence is a strategic imperative for developing a resilient and morally grounded generation, recommending integrated professional development that emphasizes the teacher's role as a moral authority in the 21st-century social landscape.

The rapid development of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology offers significant efficiency opportunities across various sectors; however, empirical research within the local Indonesian context, particularly in Batam City, remains scarce. This exploratory study aims to analyze the influence of positive perception, negative perception, and AI regulation understanding on technology adoption trends, as well as productivity and product innovation opportunities among creative industry players. The creative industry is a focal point due to the inherent tension between technological efficiency and the preservation of human originality in the creative process. This research employs a quantitative causal approach, utilizing a sample of 30 respondents reached through snowball sampling techniques. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that only positive perception has a significant direct impact on product innovation (p=0.004), while AI regulation and technical adoption do not show significant effects. This suggests that a positive technology mindset is a more decisive factor for innovation than technical mastery or current regulatory compliance. These results underscore the urgent need for local government socialization of AI policies and enhanced digital literacy for Batam's creative practitioners to transform them from mere users into strategic AI-driven innovators.

Urban waste management remains a major challenge in achieving a clean and sustainable environment, including in Bontoduri Sub-district, Makassar City. Waste banks, as a community-based waste management model, have significant potential to reduce waste generation while creating economic value. However, in practice, the role of waste banks has not been fully optimized due to limitations in institutional capacity, community participation, and managerial practices. This community service activity aimed to strengthen the role of waste banks in promoting a clean and economically valuable environment through participatory and community empowerment approaches. The methods employed included preparation, environmental education and socialization, waste bank management training, institutional mentoring, and activity evaluation. The program involved approximately 30 participants consisting of waste bank managers, local government representatives, and community members. The results indicated an increase in community awareness and understanding of waste segregation, improved managerial and administrative capacities of waste bank operators, and enhanced community participation in waste-saving activities. This study investigates the interconnected roles of board gender diversity and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance on firm performance within Indonesia's distinctive two-tier corporate governance system. Utilizing a panel dataset of 80 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2023 and employing a fixed-effects regression model, the analysis measures gender diversity on both the Board of Commissioners (BOC) and Board of Directors (BOD) using the Blau Index, with firm performance proxied by Tobin's Q and ESG performance sourced from Refinitiv Eikon scores. The empirical results reveal that gender diversity on both the BOC and BOD does not have a statistically significant effect on firm performance, failing to support agency, upper echelons, and gender socialization theories. Furthermore, ESG performance demonstrates a significant negative direct effect aligning with the trade-off perspective that current implementation costs outweigh benefits. Crucially, the analysis finds that ESG does not moderate the board diversity-performance relationship, as both interaction terms are statistically insignificant. These findings collectively indicate that the potential governance and strategic advantages of board gender diversity are not being realized in the Indonesian context. The study concludes that this is attributable to several structural barriers, including tokenistic board appointments, the early-stage and often symbolic nature of ESG adoption focused on compliance rather than integration, and a weak institutional environment characterized by voluntary frameworks and socio-cultural constraints that limit the substantive influence of women in governance roles.

The waste problem in Karanglewas Village, Kutasari District, Purbalingga Regency, continues to increase alongside agricultural, trade, and MSME activities, while the management system remains conventional, without sorting, resulting in environmental pollution and limited landfill capacity. This community service program aims to implement the Integrated Independent Waste Sorting and Processing Tool (PLASMA-T) as an innovative solution that processes organic waste into compost and melts plastic waste into paving blocks that are useful and economical. The activities are carried out in stages, including problem identification, socialization, technical training, operational trials, evaluation of results, and the handover of the equipment to the Mitra Sejahtera TPS, with ongoing assistance so that the community can operate the equipment independently. The expected outcomes include a reduction in waste volume at the TPS, increased community awareness and skills in waste management, and the creation of new business opportunities through compost and paving block products. Thus, this program not only addresses environmental issues but also strengthens the village's circular economy and has the potential to serve as a model for other regions.

This community service activity aims to socialize the development of Human Resource (HR) competencies in the Fashion Design Department at SMK Al Ihsan to face the transformation of the fashion industry based on digital technology. The main challenge faced is the gap (mismatch) between the school curriculum, which still focuses on conventional production techniques, and the needs of an industry that is now digital and automated. The method used in this activity is a participatory and educational approach that includes four stages: needs observation, delivery of theoretical material (lecturing), focused group discussions (FGD) accompanied by application demonstrations, and evaluation. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' understanding of concepts such as eco-fashion, the creative economy, as well as the introduction of digital technologies like 3D design applications (CLO3D) and digital pattern making. Through the integration of four competency pillars hard skills, soft skills, digital skills, and entrepreneurial skills it is expected that graduate profiles can transform from operational seamstresses into competitive fashionpreneurs in the global market. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes that the Link and Match strategy and mastery of technological literacy are key to effectively reducing the skills gap of students in the Industry 4.0 era.
