Long fishing is an environmentally friendly traditional fishing tool that is commonly used by fishermen to catch fish passively using bait, both in sandy waters and in coral reef areas. Grouper fish (Epinephelus sp.) tend to inhabit waters of a certain depth, especially in areas of coral fractures and dead corals that serve as shelter and foraging. Determining the right depth setting in the operation of a fishing rod is essential to optimize the catch. This study aims to determine the effect of the difference in setting depth on grouper fish catch in the waters of Pengambengan Beach and determine the most effective depth. The study used an experimental method with three depth treatments, namely 10 m, 15 m, and 20 m, each repeated nine times. Data analysis was carried out by Group Random Design (RAK) and ANOVA test. The results showed that a depth of 10 m produced the highest catch with a total of 35 fish (average 3.89 fish/trip), followed by a depth of 15 m with 10 fish (average 1.11 fish/trip), and a depth of 20 m with 7 fish (average 0.78 fish/trip). Statistically, the difference in depth has a real influence on the number of grouper catches. A depth of 10 m is recommended as the optimal setting for the operation of long fishing rods in the waters of Pengambengan Beach.

This study evaluated the feeding behavior and palatability of Etawa Crossbred (PE) dairy goats fed diets with partial substitution of Cnidoscolus aconitifolius forage. An in vivo field experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design with four dietary treatments and three replications. The treatments consisted of: (T0) Leucaena leucocephala (lamtoro) as the basal forage; (T1) lamtoro supplemented with concentrate; (T2) lamtoro plus concentrate with 10% substitution of lamtoro dry matter by C. aconitifolius; and (T3) lamtoro plus concentrate with 20% substitution of lamtoro dry matter by C. aconitifolius. Parameters observed included feed intake (dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, and crude fiber), body weight change, and feeding behavior related to forage preference. The goats consistently consumed forage prior to concentrate and exhibited a higher preference for diets containing C. aconitifolius. Inclusion of C. aconitifolius reduced lamtoro intake; however, no significant differences were observed among treatments for dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, or crude fiber intake (P>0.05). Body weight change showed a positive tendency in goats receiving 10% and 20% C. aconitifolius substitution, while goats fed the control diet experienced slight weight loss, although these differences were not statistically significant (P>0.05). In conclusion, C. aconitifolius demonstrated good palatability and potential as an alternative forage for PE goats when used as a partial substitute for lamtoro. Nevertheless, its inclusion at the tested levels did not significantly affect nutrient intake or body weight change. Further studies are recommended to optimize inclusion levels and feeding strategies to enhance its practical application in small ruminant production systems.

Indonesia's territorial waters, encompassing the world's most strategically significant maritime chokepoints including the Malacca, Sunda, and Lombok Straits, face acute and escalating marine pollution threats from the dense vessel traffic that transits these corridors daily. This study evaluates the effectiveness of MARPOL Annex I–VI compliance enforcement in Indonesian waters, identifying systemic implementation gaps and proposing an optimized enforcement and early warning response model. Employing a qualitative research design with thematic analysis and documentary review, the study engaged marine environmental inspectors, port state control officers, maritime law academics, and environmental scientists as primary respondents. Findings reveal an overall MARPOL implementation effectiveness composite score of 3.89 out of 5.00, with Annex I (oil pollution) and Annex VI (air pollution) enforcement identified as the most critically deficient implementation domains. The research demonstrates that Indonesian MARPOL enforcement is constrained by inspection capacity limitations, inter-agency coordination failures, and inadequate pollution response infrastructure across outer island port jurisdictions. The study contributes an enforcement optimization model and early warning pollution response system framework for Indonesian maritime environmental governance, with direct implications for maritime professional education at STIP Jakarta.

Digital transformation in the healthcare sector requires hospitals to optimize patient-centered care services to enhance competitiveness. Hospital operational success is often reflected in the volume of patient visits, which is influenced by the quality of the patient experience and the effectiveness of administrative digitization. This study aims to analyze the influence of patient experience on the volume of patient visits, with the digitization of registration and payment services as a mediating variable at Ciputra Hospital Surabaya. A quantitative approach using explanatory research methods was applied in this study. Data were collected from 250 respondents selected through purposive sampling and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that patient experience has a strong unidirectional correlation with the adoption of digitalized registration and payment services. Furthermore, this digital integration has been shown to have a significant impact on increasing the volume of patient visits. Theoretically, the digitalization of registration and payment services serves as a significant mediator bridging the relationship between patient experience and patient visit decisions. These findings confirm that improving the patient experience through administrative automation can create process efficiency, ease of accessibility, and convenience, which are crucial for customer loyalty. From a managerial perspective, this study implies that strengthening digital infrastructure is a fundamental strategy for hospital management to improve service quality, strengthen market position, and ensure the sustainability of institutional competitiveness amidst the rapid digital transformation of healthcare services.

This study aims to analyze the implications of sentencing decisions for children from the perspective of restorative justice and rehabilitation in the juvenile justice system in Indonesia. Children in conflict with the law require special protection because they are still developing psychologically and socially, so the sentencing process is not only oriented towards punishment, but also towards recovery and guidance. This study uses a normative juridical method with a statutory regulatory approach and a conceptual approach referring to Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. The results show that sentencing decisions for children have a significant impact on the psychological, social, and future conditions of children. The application of restorative justice principles through diversion and rehabilitation is considered more effective in encouraging child recovery, improving social relationships, and reducing the likelihood of recurrence of criminal acts. However, the implementation of restorative justice still faces various obstacles, such as a lack of understanding among law enforcement officials, limited rehabilitation facilities, and minimal post-sentencing supervision. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen coordination between institutions, improve the quality of guidance, and optimize the rehabilitative approach so that the juvenile criminal justice system can provide protection and best interests for children.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Non-Debt Tax Shield (NDTS), Effective Tax Rate (ETR), and Asset Tangibility on the capital structure of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021–2025 period. The property and real estate sector was selected due to its characteristics of requiring substantial capital investment and possessing high-value assets that can be used as collateral for debt financing. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling as the sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on capital structure. The results indicate that Non-Debt Tax Shield (NDTS) has a negative and significant effect on capital structure, while Effective Tax Rate (ETR) and Asset Tangibility have a positive and significant effect on capital structure. Simultaneously, NDTS, ETR, and Asset Tangibility significantly influence the capital structure of property and real estate companies. These findings suggest that tangible assets and tax protection strategies are major considerations in determining corporate financing decisions through debt. The implications of this study indicate that companies need to optimize the management of tangible assets and tax efficiency in formulating capital structure policies, while investors may use this information as an important consideration in evaluating corporate financing decisions.

This study aims to analyze the authority of the governor in proposing regional regulation drafts (Raperda) in Bengkulu Province from a constitutional law perspective. Such authority constitutes an essential part of the executive function in the regional legislative process, reflecting the principles of decentralization as well as the relationship between the regional government and the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD). This research employs a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches, supported by an analysis of governance practices at the regional level. The results indicate that, normatively, the governor’s authority in proposing Raperda has been clearly regulated by prevailing laws and regulations. However, in practice, several issues persist, including overlapping authority between the executive and legislative branches, the dominance of local political interests, limited institutional capacity, and weak inter-agency coordination. From a constitutional law perspective, these conditions demonstrate that the implementation of checks and balances and good governance principles in the regional legislative process has not been fully optimized. Therefore, strengthening regulatory frameworks, enhancing institutional capacity, and improving coordination mechanisms and public participation are necessary to ensure the effective exercise of the governor’s authority in proposing regional regulations..
