This research is driven by the prevalence of patriarchal perspectives within the Christian theological tradition, which frequently marginalises the role of women. Contemporary feminist theology emerges in this context as a critical effort to reinterpret women’s experiences of faith and suffering in light of God’s liberating love. This study analyses the martyrdom of the Virgin Mary and Neerja Bhanot as examples of witnessing to faith and humanity, affirming the spiritual power and courage of women in the face of patriarchal structures. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, adopting a literature review approach to the Holy Scriptures, church documents and feminist theological literature. The results show that Mary’s martyrdom reflects quiet, prophetic faithfulness as a white martyr, while Bhanot displays universal humanitarian martyrdom. Both reveal a God who is present in love and solidarity with human suffering. This research affirms that feminist theology is a reflective praxis of liberation, demanding a transformation in the Church’s and society’s views on the dignity and role of women in the work of salvation.

The admission of patients to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Intensive Cardiology Care Unit (ICCU) often occurs suddenly and under critical conditions, causing family members to experience psychological pressure such as anxiety, stress, and fear of losing their loved ones. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family knowledge and the level of anxiety among family members of patients treated in the ICU at Meuraxa General Hospital, Banda Aceh. The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational design and a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 114 patient families, with 35 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The instrument used was the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS), which demonstrated high reliability (α = 0.897). Data were collected from June 18 to July 5, 2025, and analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods with the chi-square test. The results showed that 19 respondents (54.3%) experienced moderate anxiety, while 14 respondents (40%) had low knowledge regarding ICU/ICCU care. Statistical analysis revealed a p-value of 0.005, indicating a significant relationship between family knowledge and anxiety levels. These findings highlight the importance of healthcare professionals in providing education to family members to improve understanding and help reduce anxiety during the patient’s treatment period in the ICU or ICCU.

This artwork is a musical expression that evokes a childlike atmosphere, depicting the innocence, joy, and imagination of childhood that is often forgotten over time. The creation of this work begins with two popular Indonesian children’s songs, which serve as the main source of inspiration for the piece titled Childhood. These two songs were then developed and rearranged with a creative approach, resulting in a new form that retains the basic character of the children's songs but is packaged in a more modern and artistic musical atmosphere. This work uses two main musical patterns: the Waltz, which emphasizes softness, harmony, and romance, and the Swing, which brings energy, dynamics, and the cheerfulness typical of children's music. The fusion of these two patterns is done by considering elements such as tempo, harmony, rhythm, and dynamics to create a communicative and expressive work. Through Childhood, it is hoped that this piece will serve as a reflection of childhood memories, a nostalgic medium for the listeners, and an effort to preserve and revitalize Indonesian children's songs so that they remain relevant and loved across generations.

This study examines the doctrine of Pietism within the context of postmodern culture, highlighting a gap in the literature that connects the rich historical and spiritual heritage of Pietism with contemporary philosophical challenges. The central issue explored is how this revivalist movement, which emphasizes personal piety and lived religious experience, can maintain its relevance and authenticity amid the dominant postmodern tendencies of relativism and excessive individualism. The purpose of this research is to critically analyze the potentials and risks of Pietism in the postmodern era and to propose practical recommendations for Pietist church communities to remain contextually relevant without losing their theological essence. This study employs a literature review method by examining key theological and philosophical works. The findings indicate that Pietism remains relevant due to its focus on living faith (experientia) and ethical transformation expressed through love and service, which serve as antidotes to skepticism and religious formalism. However, the movement faces a significant risk of falling into excessive subjectivism when personal experience becomes detached from the objective truth of Scripture and the communal dimension of love.

Sharing love is a form of caring for others, especially for orphans in orphanages. On Friday 20 September 2024, we held a love sharing event by distributing green bean porridge to orphans at the Puteri Melati `Aisyiyah Orphanage in Sebengkok, Tarakan. This event aims to provide simple happiness and strengthen ties between the community and children in orphanages. Social activities such as sharing food are often considered trivial. In fact, for those living in orphanages, healthy and nutritious food is an important need that is sometimes difficult to meet regularly. By distributing green bean porridge, we not only provide nutritional intake that is beneficial for the body, but also provide happiness and new enthusiasm for the children there. This activity is a form of love that they can feel directly, both through the taste of the food they enjoy and through our presence who provides attention and care. Apart from that, green bean porridge has its own meaning in the tradition of sharing in Indonesian society. As a food that is often associated with moments of togetherness and mutual cooperation, green bean porridge is a symbol of simplicity and sincere love. When this porridge is distributed in orphanages, it is not just food, but becomes a symbol of concern from those who care about the welfare of the children there.  Social concern is an attitude of connection with humanity in general, an empathy for every member of the human community, for example female students. Community service is one of the media to hone student awareness in carrying out community service.

The Community Service Program (KKN) is the answer for students to face these challenges. Elementary school students' awareness of saving is still relatively low. Many students prefer to spend their pocket money on momentary desires rather than saving it. This condition indicates that financial literacy in children is still limited. The main objective of this socialization activity is carried out with an approach that is appropriate to the age of elementary school children, for example, such as games, simulations, or simple counseling. By using such methods, students not only understand the concept of saving, but also have a desire to do it. In addition, this socialization activity instills an attitude of independence and discipline. The socialization program was held as an effort to provide insight and instill awareness to students of Elementary School 014662, Gunung Melayu Plantation Village, Rahuning District, Asahan Regency, and was attended by students in grades 4, 5, and 6 regarding the benefits of saving. To facilitate student understanding, the team demonstrated the practice of saving by using piggy banks and money as concrete examples. After students received material on the importance of saving, the activity continued with a quiz session to increase enthusiasm and test their understanding of the newly presented material. The socialization of the love of saving program, carried out through the Community Service Program (KKN), has proven to be effective in fostering understanding and awareness among elementary school students about the importance of saving from an early age.

This research is entitled "Theology of Embrace: Perspectives of Indonesian Christian Pastors on Concern for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender People." The focus of the research is directed at how pastors of the Indonesian Christian Church (HKI) understand and respond to the presence of the LGBT community within the congregation, as well as how the concept of embrace theology can be implemented in Church services. The background of this research arises from the persistence of stigma, discrimination, and rejection of LGBT people in the church environment, which impacts their alienation from fellowship. This research method uses a qualitative with a descriptive approach, the researcher interviewed 10 HKI pastors in 9 regions to explore their perspectives. The results show that 3 HKI pastors still hold conservative views regarding LGBT, viewing it as behavior that is contrary to the values of Christian faith. There are also 7 pastors who are starting to open themselves to embracing LGBT people through a more humane and compassionate pastoral approach. The concept of embrace theology according to Miroslav Volf is a relevant theological offer for creating an inclusive church space, solidarity, and relationship restoration. This research is expected to contribute to the church, especially HKI, in formulating pastoral policies that are fair, relevant, and in line with the values of Christ's love for all people without exception.

Indonesia, as an archipelagic country, has vast potential in marine resources; however, the welfare of poor fishing communities remains far from satisfactory due to various economic and social limitations. This study aims to analyze the economic and social needs of poor fishermen who face challenges such as low income, limited access to education and healthcare, and dependence on middlemen. The research was conducted in Paluh Sibaji Village, Pantai Labu Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency. The key informant was the Head of Paluh Sibaji Village, with three poor fishermen serving as main informants and fishermen’s families as additional informants. Data collection was carried out through literature review and field studies, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained in the field were then qualitatively analyzed until conclusions could be drawn. Based on the findings, the living conditions of poor fishermen in Paluh Sibaji Village reveal ongoing multidimensional economic and social needs. Referring to Sukirno’s (2005) theory of economic needs, it is evident that low per capita income, limited employment opportunities, unequal income distribution, and inadequate economic infrastructure persist. An analysis based on Abraham Maslow’s (1943) theory of social needs indicates that poor fishermen in Paluh Sibaji experience a sense of belonging and social bonds, love and affection, as well as social interactions within the community, although these remain limited and not yet optimal.

The basic needs of a child include 3 basic needs that are usually described, namely the needs of children in ASAH, ASIH, NURTURING. Needs are everything that man needs to sustain life and to obtain well-being and comfort. Abraham H. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs takes the form of a pyramid: self-actualization, the need for appreciation, the need for belonging and love, the need for security (salvation), and physiological needs. This scientific paper uses the method of literature review and descriptive writing using primary and secondary sources. The results of this study show that the needs of a child must be considered by parents to achieve appropriate development for children based also on the Qur'an and health science.

The sulang-sulang hariapan tradition is a significant cultural heritage of the Batak Toba community that embodies values of love, respect for elders, family reconciliation, equitable inheritance distribution, and leadership regeneration. The ritual is traditionally performed by offering food to parents who have reached the status of saur matua, symbolizing gratitude and respect. It is also accompanied by requests for blessings, advice, and public acknowledgment of mistakes, thus fostering peace, forgiveness, and social harmony within the community. However, in contemporary practice, the meaning of this tradition has gradually shifted toward a more formalized ceremony that emphasizes social status rather than its original spiritual and communal values. This study employs descriptive qualitative methods, combining field research with theological reflection, to examine how the values inherent in sulang-sulang hariapan can be understood in the light of the Gospel. The findings indicate that the tradition has profound potential to serve as a contextual medium for Christian faith expression. Therefore, it is crucial to revitalize its theological meaning so that the tradition remains relevant and transformative in strengthening family bonds and nurturing leadership in the modern era.

The aim of this research is to find out how to surviveTemptation According to James 1:12-15 and to know Reflection on surviving trials according to the letter James 1:12-15 towards the Sangga Beru GKPPD Congregation". The research method used used in writing this scientific work is a qualitative method, namely the approach exegesis by Gordon D. Fee. The interpretation method used is of course by using terms and steps for interpreting the Bible, the steps used by the author are: including text, analyzing text, translating text, comparing translations, criticizing apparatus, grammatical and syntactic analysis, data and analysis of historical situations (cultural historical background), results of exegesis, application. The results of the study stated that everyone was able to survive then he will stand the test, and when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life God promises to whoever loves Him. And when someone experiences temptation, let no one say this is a trial comes from God because God Himself cannot be tempted by evil and God Himself does not tempt anyone, and on the other hand, temptation comes when someone tests himself because has been enticed by evil so that desire has been fertilized and will give birth to sin and sin will bring death in his life, temptation also brings holy life when someone is able to withstand trials and persevere in life. It's the same with the GKPPD Sangga congregation Beru, who was able to withstand trials and persevere, was patient for years when he experienced trials from the outside in the form of a large-scale demolition of the church so that until now it doesn't have one a proper house of worship. Even so, the Sangga Beru GKPPD congregation continued to implement it duties and responsibilities as a Christian congregation that grows and perseveres in fellowship.

Humans are social creatureswho need interaction with other people to build their lives. Shared life emphasizes love that comes from God. People are not only involved in certain communities, people must also be more involved in the life of the Church. Their involvement in Church life is about how they actively participate in strengthening their spiritual bond with God. The advancement of digital technology in society has caused many people to utilize modern technology in carrying out catechetical activities because of the importance of building society’s faith in the digital era. Learning catechesis with various new services, both for the general public and small groups, will facilitate and encourage their ability to understand technology and their faith in God. Catechesis is a systematic and planned process in pastoral activities, catechesis has its own goal, namely to maintain, develop and mature the faith of the people through a systematic and planned teaching process so that people will increasingly live in the fullness of their faith in Jesus Christ and live according to his will (cf. CT. arts 20-21). The experience of using social media generally provided benefits for who felt they gained insight and were strengthened in the religious identity of the people. This research examines the role of family quality time in dealing with children with special needs (ABK) from the perspective of John 9:2-3. Based on analysis of the text, this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with library study methods to collect and analyze data from various relevant sources. The results of the discussion show that children with special needs are God's initial creation, and there is a need for a deep understanding of human diversity and rejection of stigmatization related to children's conditions. In this context, the role of the family is very important in supporting, protecting and treating children with special needs with appropriate love and respect. The perspective of John 9:2-3 shows that the physical or mental condition of children with special needs is not the result of sin, but is an opportunity to demonstrate God's power and demonstrate God's love and deep concern for children. Therefore, implementing the role of family quality time involves several approaches, including giving full attention when together, involving children in family activities, and reading and meditating on the Bible together. So, this approach has great potential to promote the well-being and development of children with special needs, as well as strengthen healthy and inclusive intrafamilial relationships. Thus, the role of family quality time in dealing with children with special needs is important morally and spiritually, as well as in forming a strong foundation for children's growth and happiness in the family context.

Indonesia, as a pluralistic nation, faces serious challenges related to religious radicalism, often triggered by a literal understanding of sacred texts, including the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16–20. This study emphasizes the need for reinterpretation of this text, not as a mandate for Christianization, but as a call to disciple others in the spirit of love and tolerance. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review, offering novelty through a contextual reinterpretation approach, different from previous studies that tended to be textual. This approach seeks to understand the text within the social and cultural context of pluralistic Indonesia, emphasizing values such as love, respect for pluralism, and honoring religious diversity. The findings show that this reinterpretation aligns with the values of Pancasila and can contribute to preventing the seeds of radicalism while strengthening interfaith harmony. By promoting inclusivity and peace, Christian mission can be a positive force in maintaining religious harmony in Indonesia. In conclusion, the Christian mission must shift from an exclusive paradigm focused on aggressive proselytization to a theocentric paradigm that embraces pluralism and promotes interfaith tolerance, to achieve peace amid the diversity of Indonesian society.

The development of digital technology has changed the paradigm of church ministry from a conventional model to a more participatory digital and metaverse-based ministry. This study aims to analyze how Christian values are integrated into the digital ministry management of the KGPM Sidang Syalom Tetey Church, North Minahasa. Using a qualitative approach with a contextual case study method, this study explores the application of faith principles such as love, responsibility, honesty, loyalty, and servant leadership in the management of the church's digital ministry. The results show that digital ministry management in this church successfully combines technological innovation with Christian spirituality through the use of digital media, multimedia team coordination, and accountable online reporting. The integration of Christian values enables the church to carry out technologically relevant ministries without losing their ethical and spiritual dimensions. In the context of the metaverse era, churches face ethical, relational, and spiritual challenges, but also gain new mission opportunities to expand their ministry across geographical boundaries. The theological implications of this study emphasize the importance of theological discernment and spiritual accountability in directing the use of technology as a means of mission, not as an end in itself. Thus, the church is called to be an ethical and prophetic agent in the midst of digital transformation, making technology a tool to glorify Christ and strengthen the faith life of the congregation.

The global ecological crisis demands that the church reconsider its calling as a participant in the missio Dei, which encompasses the restoration of all creation. This study aims to examine the concept of eco-missional stewardship as a model of Christian leadership that integrates spirituality, mission, and ecological responsibility. Using a theological-descriptive approach, this study interprets biblical texts and contemporary theological literature to formulate a leadership paradigm oriented toward the care of creation. The results show that stewardship leadership positions Christian leaders as stewards of God's will, guiding the church to live in harmony with creation through love, justice, and sustainability. Leadership rooted in ecological spirituality affirms that caring for the earth is an active expression of faith. Thus, eco-missional stewardship becomes a theological paradigm that expands the church's mission from human salvation to the reconciliation of all creation. These findings contribute to the development of a contextual and environmentally friendly theology of leadership.

Church discipleship is a concrete manifestation of the shepherd's primary role and responsibility within the life of the church. A shepherd is not merely a preacher or worship leader, but a spiritual mentor committed to guiding the congregation toward spiritual maturity. This discipleship process involves various aspects such as deep biblical teaching, personal and communal pastoral care, and continuous discipleship. The main goal is for the congregation to move beyond superficial faith and grow into Christ-like individuals in character, knowledge, and action. This article explores biblical and theological principles of church discipleship and how the shepherd's role must be contextualized to meet the challenges of the present age and the needs of the people. In a world that is constantly changing and spiritually challenging, effective discipleship becomes crucial for the church to remain relevant and spiritually strong. This study affirms that spiritual maturity cannot be achieved instantly, but through a purposeful, consistent process rooted in love and the truth of God's Word. Therefore, discipleship must be a pastoral priority to build a mature, strong, and impactful church.
