By writing scientific papers, he talked about how the virtue of the Christian Church in the midst of the majority and living became an example in encountering problems and introducing interfaith tolerance in Indonesia. As a country with strong religious traditions, Indonesia has challenges in creating harmonious relationships between all communities. In this writing, I am also trying to write that with the education of teaching love, the Christian church has the potential to become an agent of reconciliation in a pluralistic society. Christian teachings on selfless love, forgiveness, and acceptance of discrimination provide opportunities for people to actively participate in interfaith dialogue. However, the Church also addresses theological and social issues as absolute.

This journal aims to explore the contextualization of theology in the development of the church in East Asia, focusing on the interaction between the teachings of the gospel and local traditional belief systems. The approach used in this study is a qualitative method. The findings of this study show that churches in East Asia attempt to integrate fundamental Christian teachings and adapt to local cultural needs and customs. The research found that despite efforts to create worship that is more relevant to local cultures, churches are still careful not to mix Christian teachings with traditions that could undermine the core teachings of the faith. In addition, the research also found that there is a difficulty in finding a balance between liturgical innovation and maintaining the holiness of Christian teachings. Too much adaptation to local cultural elements can lead to a loss of authentic Christian identity, while too little adaptation can make Christianity difficult to be accepted by society. To deal with this kind of conflict, churches in East Asia have endeavored to develop theologies rooted in their local traditions. In this way, churches in East Asia seek to create a deeper understanding of how the gospel can interact with the social, cultural and spiritual needs of local communities. One of the important findings of this study is also the importance of active congregational participation in the contextualization process. This congregational participation and diologetics help local churches to be more sensitive to existing social and cultural dynamics, as well as make a greater contribution in determining relevant forms of worship and teaching. This includes the avoidance of practices that could lead to syncretism, i.e. the mixing of Christian teachings with traditional elements that are contrary to the Christian faith.

This study aims to analyze the concepts of solidarity and social justice from the perspective of the Catholic Church as taught in the Octogesima Adveniens. The Church's social teachings, especially those related to solidarity and social justice, have an important role in encouraging the formation of a more just and humane society. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method to analyze the main texts in Octogesima Adveniens as well as other relevant documents of the Church's social teachings. Content analysis was conducted to explore the concepts of solidarity and social justice contained in the encyclical, as well as its relation to the social, economic and political challenges of the time. The results show that the teachings in Octogesima Adveniens are still very relevant to be applied in dealing with the problem of social inequality in the modern world, with an emphasis on the importance of active participation of the faithful in changing unjust social structures. Solidarity and social justice, according to the Church, are not just a matter of theory, but also require real action to realize more just social change. The study concludes that the Church has an important role in guiding Catholics to realize a more inclusive and just society, and provides recommendations for the application of the principles of the Church's social teachings in today's socio-political context.

In writing this article, the author examines the role of the laity in the church, highlighting the development of their participation methods over time. The laity, as non-clergy members, contributed to the mission of the church and the spread of the gospel. From an active role in the early church, they experienced a transformation in the middle ages, but the protestant reformation restored their involvement through the concept of the "priesthood of all believers." the research method used is a literature study with qualitative analysis of relevant documents and literature. This study shows that the laity are not only recipients of teachings, but also agents of significant change in life

The elderly (elderly) is a human being who has reached the age of 60 years and above, who is susceptible to various diseases related to changes and declines in mental, physical, economic, and social aspects. These problems affect the quality of life. The purpose of this study is to explain the quality of life of the elderly in the Elderly Nursing Home and the Role of the Church in it. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with observations in the field, interviews with sources, and with literature. The role of the church is very important in meeting the spiritual needs to build spiritually. A church that serves the elderly is a church that does God's will, called to provide proper service and place for the elderly who are abandoned. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the presence of the church in providing services has an effect on the quality of life of the elderly.

Generation Z is the generation born between 1997 – 2012, who in 2023 will be 11 – 26 years old (Beresford Research). Some of Generation Z in 2024 will be teenagers. During this time, teenagers often face difficult times in finding their identity. Especially in generation Z, who were born in the midst of very rapid developments, especially in the internet era, which requires teenagers to be able to master it well. Along with the positive impacts that occur, negative impacts also affect teenagers today. The challenges and challenges faced by teenagers can have a negative impact on their future success. Therefore, there is a need for mentors around them to direct them. Faith is the basis that generation Z must have to be able to adapt in the search for identity and compete in a very rapid era of development. In this way, the Church plays a very important role in building the growth of faith of generation Z. This faith growth research was carried out at the JKI Mahanaim Church in Blitar City, East Java in order to increase the growth of faith of generation Z in the internet era in Blitar City and form a new concept in the world of pastoral ministries. This research uses a literature study method with a qualitative and descriptive approach. Researchers used James W Fowler's theory of faith growth to determine indicators of Generation Z experiencing faith growth. From the results of this research, it is hoped that Church Leaders and Mentors will pay special attention to the growth of faith and ways to build the faith of Generation Z.

This study aims to analyze the role of the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART) in realizing an orderly and growing church. The Church as a spiritual and social organization needs an orderly system to achieve its ministry goals effectively and sustainably. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach, data was collected through literature studies, observations, and interviews with leaders and congregation members in several local churches. The results of the study show that AD/ART plays a role as a structural guideline that regulates the duties, authorities, and responsibilities of the ministry, as well as as the foundation of ministry ethics that maintains integrity and order in the church body. In addition, AD/ART has also proven to be a strategic instrument in encouraging church growth through long-term planning, leadership regeneration, congregation participation, and accountable financial management. Consistent implementation of AD/ART creates organizational stability, strengthens the church's identity, and increases the trust and involvement of congregation members. Thus, AD/ART is a crucial element in the construction of a healthy, orderly, and sustainable growing church.

This article discusses the importance of developing a Christian Religious Education (PAK) model based on Christian theology and implemented through the active role of the church in carrying out the Great Commission. True Christian education does not only convey doctrinal information, but also forms the character, spirituality, and calling of the people based on the word of God. The church is positioned as a learning community and the main implementer of the contextual, transformative, and biblical theology-rooted faith education process. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach and literature study, this paper emphasizes that theological foundations, such as God as the source of education, the Bible as the basis of teaching, Christ as the focus, and the church as the implementer, are inseparable elements of PAK. Christian Religious Education based on theology provides clear direction in designing content, methods, and learning objectives that are in line with God's will. Thus, this education model is expected to be able to answer the challenges of the times, strengthen the faith of the congregation, and produce strong and relevant followers of Christ in society.  

The role of a father is crucial in a family for the emotional health of Generation Z children. However, the phenomenon occurring, particularly in the JKI Anugerah Allah church in Sidoarjo, has not been adequately controlled. The aim of this paper is to provide a deeper understanding of the importance of the quality of the father-child relationship and the significance of the church's involvement in supporting it. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. In certain cases, during Sunday School services, some children, especially boys, still appear indifferent to the activities and show little respect for the Sunday School teachers. Therefore, it is essential for the church and family to collaborate in taking appropriate actions for the emotional well-being of children in the future.

This community service activity was conducted at the Catholic Church of Santu Petrus Pariti, Kupang Regency, involving 124 participants for blood type examinations and 69 participants for blood pressure and glucose level tests. The event began with a retreat by the Medical Laboratory Technology students aimed at raising community awareness about health. A positive response was observed through the enthusiasm of the community, who actively asked questions, indicating that they gained new knowledge related to health examinations. In blood type examinations conducted at TK Santa Maria Pariti and SEKAMI, it was found that among 18 female and 22 male children, 5 participants had blood type A, 15 had blood type B, 17 had blood type O, and 1 had blood type AB. Additionally, glucose level tests revealed that 4 participants had normal glucose levels, while 65 had abnormal levels. Blood pressure tests among the elderly showed 16 with abnormal readings and 53 with normal readings. The examination results provided an initial overview of the health status of the local community, highlighting variations in blood types, glucose levels, and blood pressure conditions. This activity is expected to enhance awareness of the importance of regular health check-ups among the community.

This study focuses on the involvement of the Church in interpreting pluralism in Indonesia. This article describes the efforts of the Catholic Church in addressing diversity in Indonesia through two different but complementary research approaches: quantitative method using questionnaires and qualitative method involving literature review. The quantitative approach involves data collection through questionnaires distributed to various members of the Catholic Church. The numerical data generated from the questionnaires are then statistically analyzed to identify patterns, preferences, and common views related to the synodality and diakonia of the Church. Meanwhile, the qualitative approach involves in-depth analysis through literature study, encompassing an understanding of the concepts of synodality and diakonia of the Church, as well as a review of literature relevant to the Indonesian context. This article aims to provide a comprehensive insight into the role of the Catholic Church in addressing differences and promoting unity in the multicultural context of Indonesia. Thus, this article is expected to make a valuable contribution to the understanding and discussion of the challenges and potential of the synodality and diakonia of the Church in unifying diversity in Indonesia.

This research is motivated by the leadership of the wife of a pastor whose husband died in continuing the transition of service as pastor of the congregation. After the death of the husband who was the church pastor, the duties and responsibilities of church ministry were automatically assigned to the wife as the continuing pastor. After being approved as continuing pastor, the wife will play a very important role, her role will be the same as the previous pastor, carrying out congregational pastoral services such as pulpit service, embracing, guiding, nurturing, serving and leading as well as building relationships with congregation members and servants. The differences in leadership of wives whose husbands die will be directly visible when carrying out their duties and responsibilities as pastors of the congregation which will have an impact on the effectiveness of the ministry. Therefore this research takes the topic “duties and responsibilitities of a pastor’s wife whose husband dies on the effectiveness of services at the muliorejo gospel spreading church”. With the aim of the research to determine and analyze the transition of duties of a pastor's wife whose husband died on the effectiveness of service at the muliorejo gospel spreading church and to find out and analyze the responsibilities of a pastor's wife whose husband has died regarding the effectiveness of the ministry at the muliorejo gospel spreading church. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods, the data obtained in this research used an interview approach and recorded conversations via cellphone recordings with 12 informants. The conclusion obtained from this research is that there was a change in duties experienced by the wife of a shepherd whose husband died, this change was due to a change in duties with a different position status. From previously only being a companion to her husband who was the pastor of the congregation, she has now become a continuing pastor because of her husband's death. With the task that the mother shepherd received as continuing shepherd at the muliorejo gospel spreading church making him a person who is full of love, has a high caring nature, is firm in leading and practicing a holy life so as to support the effectiveness of ministry in the church. The leadership responsibility of a pastor's wife whose husband has died directly contributes to the effectiveness of the ministry at the muliorejo gospel spreading church. The effectiveness of the service that occurs at the muliorejo gospel spreading church is carrying out physical construction of the church, experiencing an increase in the number of souls, increasing church activity programs and opening a new church branch which will be ratified on May 5, 2024.  

In “Harmony of Philosophy, Religion, and Ecology: Understanding the Message of Scripture as the Church's Mission in Protecting Nature according to Mark 16:15,” the importance of the relationship between religious doctrine, philosophical ideas, and environmental conservation initiatives is highlighted. Thus, Mark 16:15, which commands us to preach the Gospel to all creatures, could be interpreted as an appeal to protect God's creation, including the environment. In light of the current ecological catastrophe, philosophy offers an ethical framework that allows us to consider our obligations to nature. Meanwhile, religion—especially the teachings contained in the Holy Bible—emphasizes the spiritual call to care for creation. As an important institution in society, the Church's goals must include environmental management. The Church can inspire its members to apply ecological ideals to everyday life by upholding this duty. The Church can play a leading role in nature protection by taking concrete steps and educating the public about the value of ecology in a faith-filled life. Krisis ekologis di Kalimantan Tengah ditandai oleh deforestasi, ekspansi perkebunan monokultur, serta penambangan ilegal yang berdampak serius terhadap lingkungan dan kehidupan masyarakat adat Dayak. Situasi ini menuntut respons yang tidak hanya bersifat teknis, tetapi juga teologis dan kultural. Artikel ini menawarkan pembacaan baru terhadap Handep Hapakat prinsip hidup komunal masyarakat Dayak sebagai praksis ekologi integral dan model ekopastoral kontekstual dalam terang ajaran Gereja Katolik, khususnya ensiklik Laudato Si’. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan orientasi hermeneutika teologis-kultural melalui studi kepustakaan terhadap literatur budaya Dayak, dokumen Gereja, dan kajian ekoteologi kontemporer. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Handep Hapakat tidak sekadar merupakan konstruksi sosial, melainkan praksis spiritual-ekologis yang menegaskan relasi harmonis antara manusia, komunitas, alam, dan Sang Pencipta. Nilai kebersamaan, tanggung jawab kolektif, dan musyawarah yang terkandung di dalamnya sejalan dengan visi ekologi integral yang menghubungkan dimensi ekologis, sosial, budaya, dan spiritual secara utuh. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi Handep Hapakat dalam karya pastoral Gereja memiliki potensi transformatif dalam membangun kesadaran ekologis, memperkuat inkulturasi iman, serta mendorong keterlibatan komunitas dalam merawat rumah bersama secara berkelanjutan.

Gerakan Oikumene atau ekumenisme memiliki peranan penting dalam upaya menyatukan berbagai denominasi gereja Kristen, terutama dalam konteks pemahaman Alkitab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana konsep Oikumene dipahami dan diimplementasikan berdasarkan ajaran Alkitab, serta dampaknya terhadap kesatuan umat Kristiani. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review, yang melibatkan pengumpulan dan analisis berbagai sumber literatur terkait Oikumene, ekumenisme, dan pemahaman Alkitab tentang kesatuan gereja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Oikumene tidak hanya fokus pada kesatuan doktrin, tetapi juga menekankan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang berlandaskan pada kasih dan penghormatan terhadap perbedaan. Dialog ekumenis yang konstruktif dan kerja sama lintas denominasi menjadi kunci dalam mengatasi perpecahan dan memperkuat persatuan gereja. Selain itu, implementasi Oikumene di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi, seperti STAKPN Sentani, terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan harmonisasi dan kebersamaan di antara mahasiswa dari berbagai latar belakang gereja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Oikumene dalam pemahaman Alkitab dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk mewujudkan kesatuan gereja yang harmonis dan inklusif, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perdamaian dan keharmonisan masyarakat luas.

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of human resource competence, leadership style and use of information technology on the quality of financial reports of Parish Churches in the Maumere City area. This research uses an associative quantitative approach. The population in this study was the Financial Council taken from 5 Parish Churches in Maumere City, namely 32 respondents. The sampling method used in this research was saturated sampling so that the number of samples obtained was 32 respondents. The data collection process was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents, where the research instrument used a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this research uses a multiple linear regression analysis model with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 program. The results of this research show that the variables of human resource competency, leadership style and the use of information technology partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on the quality of the Church's financial reports. The sacrament of Baptism is often referred to as the gateway to enter the community of believers in Jesus, especially in the Catholic Church, because it is the first sacrament received. Other sacraments can only be received after receiving the sacrament of Baptism. By receiving the sacrament of Baptism, a person can receive his rights and obligations as a Catholic. In the rite of receiving the sacrament of Baptism, one of the important parties to be considered is the godparents, or often also called the godfather or godmother. Its presence does not merely fulfil the requirements of formality, which is then recorded in the Baptismal Book or Liber Baptizatorum; but it has a certain role before and after the celebration of baptism.

This article discusses the current views of pluralism and exclusivism among churches in Papua, focusing on how these concepts are understood and applied in the diverse social, cultural and religious context of Papua. Pluralism recognizes religious diversity and opens space for interfaith dialogue and cooperation, while exclusivism emphasizes that salvation can only be achieved through faith in Jesus Christ. In the context of Papua, which consists of various tribes, customary traditions, and religions, churches face challenges in determining attitudes towards pluralism and exclusivism, which have an impact on interfaith relations and social dynamics in the region. The purpose of this study is to analyze how pluralism and exclusivism affect the role of churches in Papua in dealing with religious and cultural diversity. It also aims to reveal the different views among the more pluralist and exclusivist churches and how these views shape their strategies in building relationships with other communities in Papua.

Anak-anak adalah anugerah terindah dari Tuhan yang harus dididik, dibina dan diajar sejak kecil. Didikan sejak kecil akan menjadi fondasi yang kuat bagi anak-anak dalam menjalani hidup mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan bagaiman impelementasi belajar Alkitab pada anak berdasarkan 2 Timotius 3:15 dan menguraikan bagaimana kitab 2 Timotius 3:15 menjadi dasar bagi pertumbuhan kerohanian anak di Gereja Antioch Mission Church Tangerang. Adapun permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, melliputi kurangnya waktu anak dalam belajar Alkitab, kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan anak tentang Firman Tuhan, serta pengaruh media sosial dan teknologi yang menjadi penghambat bagi anak-anak dalam membangun kerohanian mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen, dan studi Pustaka. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi belajar Alkitab pada anak sangat berdampak bagi pertumbuhan kerohani anak di Gereja Antioch Mission Church Tangerang. Melalui belajar Alkitab sejak dini, membantu anak-anak mengenal Tuhan Yesus Kristus, mampu memberikan mereka hikmat dan menuntun mereka kepada keselamatan oleh iman dalam Yesus Kristus. Untuk mengajarkan Alkitab pada anak, orang tua, guru sekolah minggu, dan gereja sangat berperang penting dalam membimbing, membina dan membentuk anak-anak untuk bertumbuh dalam pengenalan akan Tuhan Yesus Kristus dengan benar.

This research explores the role of the Toraja Church and Tallu Lolona in integrating local traditions into religious practices. Through interviews, observations, and document analysis, we found that the Toraja Church has successfully created a harmonious model between Christian faith and Toraja cultural heritage. Tallu Lolona, as a spiritual leader, plays a central role in maintaining this balance. These findings provide deep insights into the unique dynamics between tradition and faith in the Toraja Church, with a positive impact on the spiritual and cultural life of the community.
