Chili (Capsicum annuum L) ) is one of the most important horticultural commodities widely consumed in Indonesia and has high economic value. To maintain productivity and prevent pest attacks, farmers commonly apply chemical pesticides intensively. However, excessive and improper pesticide application can leave harmful residues on the surface and within the tissues of chili fruits. The accumulation of these residues not only poses health risks to consumers but also contributes to environmental pollution, particularly in wastewater generated from chili washing activities. This study aims to reduce pesticide residues of Cherizeb and Emacel in chili washing water using the photolysis methodassisted by a ZnO/zeolite catalyst. Zinc oxide (ZnO) acts as a photocatalyst activated by ultraviolet (UV) light to produce reactive hydroxyl radicals (•OH) capable of decomposing complex organic compounds into simpler compounds such as CO₂ and H₂O. Meanwhile, zeolite is used as a catalyst support due to its large surface area and high adsorption capacity, allowing adsorption and photocatalytic processes to occur simultaneously. The results showed that the photolysis method using the ZnO/zeolite catalyst significantly reduced pesticide residues, with optimum degradation efficiencies of 85.66% for Cherizeb using 0.8 g ZnO/zeolite under UV irradiation for 60 minutes, and 83.97% for Emacel using 0.8 g ZnO/zeolite under UV irradiation for 75 minutes. The samples were characterized using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) to identify functional groups, indicating the disappearance of specific organic functional groups. Pesticide residues on chili samples were analyzed using UV-Vis spectrophotometry to determine concentrations before and after treatment. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that the crystalline structure of the catalyst remained stable after the photolysis process. Based on these findings, the ZnO/zeolite catalyst is proven to be effective in reducing pesticide residues through photocatalytic degradation and has the potential to be applied as a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly post-harvest technology to improve the quality of agricultural products.

Marriage in Islamic law constitutes a sacred covenant (mīthāqan ghalīẓan) that carries theological, social, and juridical dimensions. Within this framework, the guardian (walī nikāḥ) plays a pivotal role whose legal status has long been contested across Islamic jurisprudential schools. This study examines the authority of the marriage guardian from three analytical layers: its doctrinal construction across the four major madhabs, its codification in Indonesian positive law, and its practical implementation in religious court jurisprudence. Employing a normative legal research method, this study draws on conceptual, statutory, and case approaches, with primary legal materials comprising Qur’anic verses, prophetic traditions, Law No. 1 of 1974, the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), and Ministerial Regulation (PMA) No. 30 of 2024. The findings reveal fundamental differences among the madhabs: the Shāfi‘ī, Mālikī, and Ḥanbalī schools treat the guardian as an essential pillar (rukun) of the marriage contract, whereas the Ḥanafī school views guardianship as a complementary element based on the concept of legal capacity (ahliyyah). Indonesian positive law, through Article 19 of the KHI, adopts the Shāfi‘ī position by designating the guardian as an obligatory rukun. The study further finds that the mechanisms of walī ‘aḍal (recalcitrant guardian) and wakalah al-walī (delegation of guardianship) serve as legal instruments that reconcile formal-procedural requirements with practical social needs, thereby affirming that guardianship norms function both as a religious requirement and as a state-administered mechanism for protecting women’s rights in marriage.

This study aims to examine the effect of village apparatus capacity on accountability in village fund management, with the village financial system (SISKEUDES) as an intervening variable in Letti District, Southwest Maluku Regency. The research assessed whether the competence, knowledge, and administrative ability of village officials can improve transparent and accountable fund management. This study employed a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique, involving all 42 apparatus members as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression and the Sobel test to examine direct and indirect effects. The findings show that village apparatus capacity has a positive effect on village fund management accountability. This indicates that human resource capacity can support responsible planning, implementation, reporting, and evaluation of village funds. However, the village financial system does not significantly affect village fund management accountability. In addition, SISKEUDES does not function as an intervening variable in the relationship between village apparatus capacity and accountability. These results imply that strengthening human resource capacity remains more decisive than system use.

Frozen  shoulder or adhesive capsulitis is a chronic condition that causes pain and limited movement in the shoulder joint. Intervention in the early phase (freezing stage) is crucial to prevent more severe functional disabilities, especially in the elderly population. This case study was conducted on a 60-year-old female patient with complaints of pain and stiffness in the right shoulder for one month. Clinical assessment was conducted using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) for pain, Manual Muscle Testing (MMT) for muscle strength, goniometry for joint range of motion, and the Shoulder Pain and Disability Index (SPADI) for functional ability. The therapy program was administered in three intervention sessions. After undergoing three therapy sessions, there was a significant reduction in pain intensity, where movement pain decreased from a score of 7 to 5 and pressure pain from 5 to 2. Muscle strength improved from a value of 3 to 4 on the MMT scale. Additionally, the total SPADI score decreased from 66.1% to 50%, indicating an improvement in the patient's functional capacity in daily activities. The multimodal physiotherapy approach has proven effective in reducing pain, increasing muscle strength, and improving shoulder function in elderly patients with early-stage frozen  shoulder. The combination of electro-physical modalities and manual therapy provides more comprehensive clinical outcomes compared to single interventions.

This study explores how the integrated Resource-Based View (iRBV) and Dynamic Capabilities (DC) explain the early stage of SME internationalization in Indonesia. An exploratory single-case study design is employed on a koi-breeding SME that has engaged in export activities, using a Likert-scale questionnaire to identify VRIN resources, dynamic capabilities, export performance, and internationalization barriers. The findings indicate that the SME possesses relatively strong export market knowledge, network competence, and quality reputation, but remains weak in global certifications, administrative support, and logistical capacity. From a DC perspective, sensing and seizing capabilities are already developed, whereas transforming capability is still limited in terms of reconfiguring the business model, strengthening human resources, and institutionalizing export routines. Overall, the results underscore that the success of SME internationalization is determined not only by the ownership of internal resources, but also by the firm’s ability to reconfigure those resources in the presence of environmental and institutional constraint.
