This study was conducted based on the crucial role of diesel generator engines as the primary source of electrical power on board ships, making their operational reliability essential. One of the factors influencing generator engine performance is lubricating oil temperature. Excessive lubricating oil temperature may reduce lubrication effectiveness, increase friction between moving components, and lower engine efficiency. Therefore, this research aimed to identify the causes of high lubricating oil temperature in diesel generator engines and determine appropriate corrective actions. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation during sea practice aboard MV. CL FLANDERS from 4 July 2024 to 5 July 2025. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression to examine the relationship between generator load and lubricating oil temperature. The findings revealed that generator load had a significant effect on the increase in lubricating oil temperature. Under normal operating conditions, the lubricating oil temperature ranged from 60°C to 72°C, while under abnormal conditions it increased to between 68°C and 81°C. The abnormal rise in temperature was mainly caused by cooling system problems, particularly a dirty LO cooler, scale deposits on the sea water pump impeller, and blockage in the cooling capillary pipes. The regression equation under normal conditions was Y = 45 + 0.30X, whereas under abnormal conditions it was Y = 53.5 + 0.30X. Elevated lubricating oil temperature resulted in lower oil viscosity, higher fuel consumption, and reduced diesel generator engine performance. Therefore, regular maintenance of the LO cooler, sea water pump, and continuous temperature monitoring are necessary to maintain optimum engine performance.

This study investigates the effect of total risk on firm performance and sustained growth among consumer non-cyclicals manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over the period 2019–2023. Total risk is operationalized through the systematic risk proxy (Beta/β), estimated via the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) framework as the covariance between individual stock returns and the market return divided by the variance of market returns, using the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) as the market benchmark. Firm performance is measured through Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Tobin’s Q, while sustained growth is operationalized following Gerson et al. (2025) as SG = b × ROE, where b denotes the earnings retention ratio. Panel data regression analysis is applied to 225 firm-year observations drawn from 45 companies, with model selection guided by the Chow and Hausman specification tests. The Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is adopted for ROA, ROE, and SG, while the Random Effect Model (REM) is applied for Tobin’s Q. Results indicate that systematic risk exerts a significant negative effect on ROA (β = −0.312; p < 0.01) and ROE (β = −0.278; p < 0.01), but is statistically non-significant for Tobin’s Q, suggesting that capital market pricing in Indonesia does not fully incorporate systematic risk information. Critically, systematic risk exerts the largest and most significant negative effect on sustained growth (β = −0.347; p < 0.01), revealing a dual transmission mechanism through which risk suppresses ROE while simultaneously inducing more conservative dividend policies, both of which constrain long-run growth sustainability. These findings carry important implications for corporate risk management strategy and empirically enrich the literature on risk, performance, and growth in emerging capital markets.

Pregnancy complications remain a leading cause of maternal morbidity and mortality in Indonesia. Pregnant women's limited knowledge of pregnancy danger signs and suboptimal participation in antenatal care (ANC) services can increase the risk of delayed detection and management of pregnancy complications. The Kinovaro Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Sigi Regency is one of the areas requiring maternal health information and activities that can increase pregnant women's participation in health education activities. This community service activity aims to improve pregnant women's knowledge and preparedness in preventing pregnancy complications through mentoring based on Pregnant Women's Classes. The activity involved eight pregnant women in their second and third trimesters. The methods used included health education, interactive discussions, simple pregnancy check-ups, pregnancy exercise demonstrations, and evaluation using pre- and post-tests. The results showed that all participants actively participated in the activity and had a good level of knowledge after participating. The average knowledge score increased from 77.5 to 80.0, an increase of 3.2%. In addition, participants were able to identify pregnancy danger signs, understand the importance of standard ANC visits, and practice pregnancy exercise movements independently. This activity demonstrates that mentoring through the Pregnant Women's Class can strengthen maternal health literacy, increase pregnant women's preparedness in recognizing pregnancy complications, and support the strengthening of maternal health services at the community level.

The concrete block business is one of the micro-enterprises that develops in Wairotang Village and plays an important role in fulfilling the community’s need for building materials. However, in its development, sales fluctuate from year to year, which is assumed to be influenced by the level of consumer trust and the quality of the products produced. In addition, several problems still occur, such as concrete blocks that crack easily, inconsistent sizes, and varying levels of strength, leading consumers to hesitate in making repeat purchases. This study aimed to determine the influence of consumer trust and product quality on purchasing decisions of concrete blocks in Wairotang Village. The independent variables in this study were consumer trust and product quality, while the dependent variable was purchasing decision. This study was motivated by fluctuations in concrete block sales and the persistence of consumer doubts regarding product quality, including easily cracked blocks, inconsistent sizes, and varying strength levels. These conditions resulted in suboptimal consumer trust, which in turn affected purchasing decisions. This study used a quantitative research method. The population consisted of consumers of concrete blocks in Wairotang Village, and the sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination ($\text{R}^2$). The results were expected to show that consumer trust and product quality have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions of concrete blocks in Wairotang Village, both partially and simultaneously. Astronomy in Islam (Ilmu Falak) is a branch of science that studies the position of celestial bodies related to the implementation of Islamic worship, especially in determining the qibla direction and prayer times. In this simple study, an analysis was conducted on several mosques, namely Masjid Al-Huda, Masjid Bahrul Ulum, Masjid Besar Al-Muslimun Kepatihan, and Masjid several Besar Al-Falah Ngunut. The analysis was carried out by comparing the qibla azimuth with the direction of the building or prayer rows, as well as evaluating the suitability of prayer times used by the mosques with digital standard times and official prayer schedules. The method used in this study was field observation assisted by digital applications and online prayer schedule sources. The results showed differences in qibla direction deviation and prayer times in each mosque. The largest qibla deviation was found at Masjid Bahrul Ulum, while the smallest deviation was found at Masjid Besar Al-Muslimun Kepatihan. Meanwhile, the prayer time differences ranged from 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds. From these results, it can be understood that accuracy in determining the qibla direction and prayer times is very important to support the proper implementation of worship. In addition, the development of digital technology greatly assists the process of falak analysis in modern society.

This research investigates the effect of the amount of MSMEs, the number of buildings, and GRDP on regional tax revenue in selected cities and regencies in South Sulawesi, driven by the inconsistency between the growth of economic potential and the realization of tax revenue, where increases in MSMEs, buildings, and GRDP are not always followed by higher tax receipts. The study aims to analyze the effect of these variables and identify the most significant factors contributing to regional fiscal capacity. A quantitative approach is employed using panel data that combine time series and cross-sectional data from 2015-2024, analyzed through panel data regression with model selection based on Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier test. The results show that partially, MSMEs and the number of buildings do not have a significant effect on tax revenue, while GRDP has a positive significant impact; however, simultaneously, all variables significantly influence tax revenue, as indicated by a high Adjusted R-squared value. These findings suggest that economic growth, as proxied by GRDP, plays a more dominant role in increasing tax revenue compared to the mere increase in the number of MSMEs and buildings, implying that optimizing tax revenue requires not only expanding economic potential but also enhancing tax compliance, administrative efficiency, and the quality of economic growth.

The increasing complexity of urban transportation systems demands intelligent and measurable navigation methods. Medan City, the capital of North Sumatra Province, has a dense road network with multiple route options that often confuse road users. Dijkstra's Algorithm, developed by Edsger Wybe Dijkstra in 1959, is a greedy-based computational approach proven effective for solving the shortest path problem on non-negative weighted graphs. This study applies Dijkstra's Algorithm to determine the shortest route from Medan Railway Station to Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED). The road network was modeled as an undirected weighted graph with 15 nodes and 16 edges, where edge weights represent actual road distances measured via Google Maps. The graph has a density of 0.152, confirming its sparse graph characteristic. Three alternative routes were identified and analyzed. The algorithm was implemented in Python 3 using the heapq module as a priority queue. Results show that the optimal route is A → B → C → E → F → M → N → O via Jl. M.T. Haryono, Jl. Aipda KS Tubun, Jl. Madong Lubis, and Jl. Prof. H.M. Yamin, with a total distance of 6.64 km. This achieves 99.1% accuracy compared to Google Maps, with a deviation of only 0.06 km. The optimal route is 6.25% more efficient than Alternative Route 1 (7.30 km) and 11.9% more efficient than Alternative Route 2 (7.54 km). The algorithm executes in under 1 millisecond with time complexity O((V+E) log V). These findings confirm Dijkstra's Algorithm as highly effective for medium-scale urban road network optimization.

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of flexing on social media as a representation of social status in digital society through the perspectives of Jean Baudrillard’s simulacra theory and Erving Goffman’s self-presentation theory. The research employs a qualitative method using content analysis of social media posts, particularly on Instagram and TikTok, that display flexing practices. The research data consist of photos and videos containing symbols of luxury, such as branded goods, luxury vehicles, exclusive locations, and consumptive lifestyles. The findings reveal that flexing is not merely an act of showing off, but also a conscious self-representation strategy used to construct a particular social image. The luxury symbols displayed often do not fully reflect reality, but rather represent identity constructions that have been selectively curated and manipulated according to the desired image. From the perspective of simulacra, these representations have replaced reality itself, causing the boundary between reality and representation to become increasingly blurred. Furthermore, the phenomenon of flexing is closely related to consumer culture, the need for social recognition, and personal branding strategies in the digital era. Exposure to flexing content also encourages social comparison, which may lead to psychological pressure among audiences. Therefore, flexing can be understood as a multidimensional phenomenon reflecting changes in how individuals construct identity, perceive reality, and gain social legitimacy within digital society.
