The problem of poverty is a serious problem found in areas especially rural Poverty is one of the main indicators in evaluating the progress of a village. Therefore, each village tries to carry out a number of activities to reduce poverty. Especially in Sukajaya Village, Pamarican District continues to try to reduce the poverty rate in Suakajaya Village through development and assistance using village funds. This study used the theory of Prof. Dr. Sondang P. Siagian, M.P.A. which aims to examine and analyze how the village government plays a role in lowering poverty levels using five role dimensions: Role as Stabilizer, Role as Innovator, Role as Modernizer, Role as Pioneer, and  Role as Self-executor. This study used qualitative descriptive research with interviews and literature as its data collection. This study results in the fact that the government of Des Sukajaya has tried to make efforts to reduce the poverty rate in Desa Sukajaya, but the efforts made by Desa Sukajaya have not been carried out properly because there are still programs carried out by Desa Suakjaya that have not been optimally and there are still programs which will begin to know the front. However, the Sukajya village government continues to strive to maximize the programs in the village in the welfare of the community by mobilizing the younger generation to conduct training.

Breast cancer and cervical cancer are two leading causes of death among Indonesian women, yet they are preventable through early detection. Tanjung Anom Village in Pancur Batu Subdistrict is a rural area with low health literacy, particularly regarding cancer screening. This community service aimed to improve women's knowledge and awareness through SADARI (Breast Self-Examination) training and IVA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) examination. A community-based participatory approach was applied, involving health cadres, village leaders, and women of reproductive age as key participants. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge scores, from an average of 52.4 to 76.2 after the intervention. A total of 48 women voluntarily underwent the IVA test, and a Women's Health Working Group was established to sustain ongoing education. The emergence of local leaders and collective awareness reflects a successful health-based social transformation. This program has proven effective and can be replicated in other rural settings.

This research aimed to examine the influence of service quality and System Information Assurance (SIA) on the interest in using digital wallets among Accounting students at Politeknik Negeri Lampung. A purposive sampling method was employed, with a sample of 102 respondents selected through the distribution of questionnaires to Accounting students at the institution. The study focused on understanding how service quality and the assurance of system information (SIA) impacted the adoption and usage of digital wallets, which are increasingly popular in modern financial transactions. The data was analyzed using IBM SPSS version 26, employing statistical tests to determine the strength and significance of the relationship between these variables. The results of the analysis indicate that both service quality and SIA significantly influence students’ interest in using digital wallets. Specifically, the study found that better service quality and higher assurance of system security contribute positively to the students’ trust and interest in utilizing digital wallet applications. These findings suggest that financial service providers should prioritize improving service quality and strengthening system security measures to attract younger users, especially in academic settings where digital wallet usage is becoming more prevalent. Additionally, this research emphasizes the importance of understanding the factors that drive digital wallet adoption, particularly in the context of higher education students, who are key early adopters of digital payment solutions. The study’s findings offer valuable insights for digital wallet providers, educators, and policymakers in shaping strategies to enhance the acceptance and use of digital wallets among students in academic environments.

Bananas are a tropical fruit that is popular because of its sweet taste and high nutrient content. However, bananas have a major drawback, which is a short shelf life. After reaching perfect ripeness, the banana will undergo a change in mushy texture, the skin will appear black spots, and there will be a growth of yeast that causes the appearance of the banana to be damaged and unfit for consumption. However, ripe bananas that look visually bad still contain high glucose, which can be used in fermentation or advanced processing. One of the solutions to avoid losses due to ripe banana spoilage is to process it into banana sale. Banana sale is a processed product produced from ripe bananas that go through a drying process to reduce the moisture content to a safe level, so that it can extend its shelf life. This drying process can be done by two methods, namely drying in the sun and smoking. The purpose of both methods is to reduce the water content of bananas, so that they are not easily damaged by microorganisms. Using this technique, bananas that are prone to spoilage can be transformed into more durable products, have a distinctive taste, and have a high selling value. The quality of banana sales is influenced by various factors, such as its color, taste, aroma, texture, and shelf life. By processing bananas for sale, their economic value can increase significantly. Farmers can not only reduce losses due to bananas that do not sell well in the fresh market, but also earn additional income from value-added processed products. Banana sale products have great potential to be developed as one of the processed food products that have economic value and are beneficial to the community (Masuku, M. A., 2023; Lestari, S., et al., 2024).

Slum settlements developing around Final Disposal Sites (TPA) represent a complex phenomenon that affects the quality of the urban living environment. In Karo Regency, the proximity of the TPA to residential areas has raised various issues such as air pollution, declining sanitation quality, and limited community participation in spatial planning processes. This study aims to analyze the influence of Distance to the TPA (X1), Length of Residence (X2), Community Participation (X3), Perception of TPA Impact (X4), and Household Income (X5) on the Quality of Slum Settlements (Y). A quantitative approach was applied using a multiple linear regression model, based on primary data from 200 respondents residing in areas affected by the TPA. The analysis revealed that, simultaneously, the four independent variables (X1–X4) significantly influence settlement quality, whereas household income does not show a significant effect. Partially, Distance to the TPA and Length of Residence have negative effects, while Perception of TPA Impact has a positive effect. Interestingly, Community Participation shows a negative influence, indicating ineffective engagement in environmental management. The R² value of 0.016 suggests that the model explains only a small portion of the variation, yet the F-test significance supports the overall model's relevance. Recommendations from this study include the importance of establishing a minimum 300-meter buffer zone between the TPA and residential areas, implementing sanitary landfill methods to replace open dumping systems, forming environmentally-based community forums with advocacy strength, and conducting community-based waste management training focusing on high-risk households. Strengthening participatory approaches through integration into village and sub-district spatial planning is essential for managing environmental impacts collaboratively and sustainably.

This study investigates the correlation between mental health and turnover intention among working students at STIE IBMI Medan who fulfill dual roles as both students and employees. These individuals are particularly vulnerable to psychological stress arising from academic responsibilities and workplace demands. The objective of this research is to examine the influence of mental health on their tendency to resign from their jobs. An associative quantitative research method was adopted, with data collected through structured interviews involving 71 respondents. The analysis was conducted using simple linear regression via the SPSS application. The findings reveal that mental health has a significant negative effect on turnover intention, with a significance value of 0.001. This suggests that students who experience better mental health are less likely to consider leaving their jobs. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 14.6%, indicating that mental health explains 14.6% of the variation in turnover intention. The remaining 85.4% may be attributed to other contributing factors, such as high work pressure from supervisors, poor work-life balance, financial stress, inflexible schedules, and lack of organizational support. The implication of these results is that efforts to support and maintain the psychological well-being of working students are essential for reducing employee turnover. Educational institutions and employers should collaborate to create supportive environments through counseling services, flexible scheduling, mental health awareness programs, and policies that accommodate the dual responsibilities of student workers. By addressing these mental health concerns, institutions can improve student performance and job retention simultaneously. This study highlights the importance of integrating mental health strategies in workforce and academic management, especially for populations that manage competing academic and professional obligations.

The maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Indonesia remains high, with many cases linked to pregnancy complications associated with iron deficiency anemia (IDA). Anemia has widespread effects on women’s reproductive health and child development, including decreased immunity, cognitive impairment, and increased risk of premature birth. One promising nutritional intervention is the consumption of mung bean extract, which is rich in iron. This community service activity aimed to improve public knowledge and skills regarding the benefits of mung bean extract for women's reproductive health and child nutrition. The program involved educational sessions and practical demonstrations delivered to residents in the target area, with active participation from local leaders and community members. The results showed increased awareness and motivation among the participants to consume mung bean extract regularly. The enthusiasm demonstrated by the community indicates the effectiveness of this outreach in raising awareness about the importance of simple nutritional interventions to prevent anemia and improve maternal and child health. It is hoped that this activity can be sustained as a promotive and preventive public health effort.

The digital era has brought significant changes in the way humans access, store, and share information. Amidst these technological advances, major challenges have emerged to the protection of individual privacy rights. Personal information is increasingly easy to collect and process by various parties, both by state institutions, technology companies, and individual users. On the other hand, the need for freedom of information is also increasing, especially in the context of transparency, public participation, and data openness. The balance between cybersecurity and freedom of information is a crucial issue that must be addressed comprehensively. This paper aims to examine the protection of privacy rights in the digital era by highlighting the tension between data security efforts and demands for information openness. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that privacy protection requires clear regulations, such as the Personal Data Protection Law in Indonesia, as well as public awareness in protecting personal data. On the other hand, freedom of information must still be maintained so that it is not misused to violate individual rights. Therefore, a balanced approach is needed between regulation, education, and technology to create a digital space that is safe, fair, and respects human rights.

Abstrak. Osteoporosis is a degenerative bone disease characterized by a decrease in bone mass and strength, particularly in postmenopausal women. Traditional plant-based therapy presents an attractive alternative given the rich local bioactive potential and limited access to pharmacological treatments. One important biochemical indicator in bone regeneration is the level of alkaline phosphatase (ALP). The aim of this study is to evaluate the potential of various Indonesian traditional medicinal plants as bioactive agents in the prevention of osteoporosis, with an emphasis on increasing ALP levels. This method employed a literature search by collecting several scientific articles discussing the anti-osteoporosis activity of traditional medicinal plants through in vitro, in vivo, and clinical observation studies. The results obtained show that traditional medicinal plants such as Turmeric (Curcuma longa), Black pepper (Piper nigrum), Bromelain (Ananas comosus), Papaya (Carica papaya), Japanese knotweed (Reynoutria japonica Houtt.), Veratrum nigrum, Sickle senna (Cassia tora), Red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum), Clove (Syzygium aromaticum L.), White turmeric (Curcuma zeadoaria), and Celery (Apium graveolens) are capable of reducing the number of osteoclasts and promoting bone formation. These findings consistently demonstrate a positive role in bone health through increased ALP levels. Indonesian traditional medicinal plants hold great potential as evidence-based anti-osteoporosis agents, particularly through enhancing ALP levels and osteoblast activity. This literature review supports the development of local herbal therapy as a promotive and preventive alternative against osteoporosis.
