The agricultural sector plays a strategic role in ensuring national food security, particularly in rural areas where the majority of the population depends on agricultural production. Sememu Village, an agricultural-based community with rice and tobacco as its primary commodities, has faced recurring pest attacks in recent years. Conventional pest control methods in the area have primarily relied on chemical pesticides. However, excessive and prolonged use of these chemicals has resulted in serious problems, including pest resistance, environmental contamination, and potential health risks to farmers and consumers. This study aims to improve farmers’ knowledge and practical skills by introducing an alternative, eco-friendly approach through a training program on the production of botanical pesticides derived from papaya leaves (Carica papaya L.). Papaya leaves are known to contain bioactive compounds such as papain, chymopapain, alkaloids, terpenoids, and flavonoids, which exhibit natural insecticidal properties. The training activities consisted of initial observation, presentation of scientific and practical materials, hands-on practice in the preparation of botanical pesticides, and field testing on rice and tobacco plants. The findings demonstrated that the use of papaya leaf-based pesticides effectively reduced pest feeding activity and increased pest mortality rates, thereby minimizing crop damage. Importantly, this approach did not cause harmful effects on the surrounding ecosystem. The program highlights the potential of botanical pesticides as a sustainable solution for integrated pest management in agricultural villages, contributing both to environmental conservation and farmers’ welfare.

Burns can cause infection, hinder healing, and increase the risk of long-term complications. Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa often infect burn wounds in general, infections are treated with antibiotics, but continued use of antibiotics can cause bacterial resistance. Binahong leaves (Anredera cordifolia) have potential as a substitute for antibiotics because of their antibacterial properties from active compounds such as alkaloids, polyphenols, tannins, saponins and ascorbic acid. This research aims to activate the antibacterial ability of binahong leaf ethanol extract against S. aureus and P. aeruginosa. This research uses an experimental method with a control group design using diffusion and dilution methods at varying concentrations. Statistical analysis of the inhibition zone showed that there was a significance difference of <0.05 between treatment groups. In the solid diluted method, S. aureus obtained an MIC value of 10.5% and a MBC of 11.5%, whereas P. aeruginosa had an MIC of 14.5% and a MBC of 15%. The results showed that the ethanol extract of binahong leaves was more sensitive to S. aureus than P. aeruginosa.

The magnesium alloy AZ31B is increasingly used in biomedical applications, particularly as an implant material, due to its relatively low aluminum content and mechanical properties that closely resemble those of bone. Additionally, AZ31B exhibits corrosion resistance that is suitable for biological environments. These properties make it a promising material for bone implants. However, one of the main challenges in using magnesium is its high degradation rate in the body, which can affect the stability and function of the implant. Therefore, surface modification is necessary to control the degradation rate and enhance the material's durability. One effective method to reduce the corrosion rate of AZ31B is the Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) technique. PEO can form a hard, protective oxide layer on the surface of the metal, which helps improve its corrosion resistance. This study aims to explore the effect of the mass composition of hydroxyapatite (HAp) and tricalcium phosphate (TCP) on the PEO coating formed on the AZ31B substrate. The compositions used in this study were 70%:30%, 50%:50%, 40%:60%, and 60%:40%, with an electrolyte solution containing Na₂SiO₃ (2.5 g/L) and KOH (2 g/L). Corrosion characteristics of the coating were evaluated using two methods: weight loss and polarization tests. The results showed that the 70%:30% HAp:TCP composition provided the most optimal results. The polarization test recorded a corrosion rate of 0.22 mpy, while the weight loss test showed a corrosion rate of 0.29 mpy. These findings indicate that the PEO coating with the 70%:30% HAp:TCP composition effectively reduces the corrosion rate of AZ31B, enhancing its potential for biomedical implant applications, particularly in environments where corrosion resistance is crucial for long-term performance in the body.

This study investigates the potential of Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) plastic waste as a partial substitute for sand in concrete block mixtures, focusing on its effects on compressive strength and water absorption. LDPE is a non-biodegradable plastic waste that poses significant environmental challenges. Its incorporation into construction materials offers a promising solution to reduce pollution while enhancing the performance of building components. The research employed LDPE substitution levels of 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30% by weight of sand, compared against conventional concrete blocks without LDPE. Experimental results revealed that the highest compressive strength was achieved with a 15% LDPE mixture, reaching 80.762 kg/cm² at 28 days of curing—an increase of approximately 40.8% compared to normal blocks, which recorded 57.359 kg/cm². LDPE additions up to 20% maintained favorable strength characteristics, while higher proportions (25% and 30%) led to a decline in mechanical performance. In terms of water absorption, the inclusion of LDPE demonstrated a decreasing trend, attributed to the hydrophobic nature of plastic, which enhances moisture resistance in the concrete blocks. These findings suggest that a 15% LDPE substitution represents an optimal formulation for producing eco-friendly concrete blocks with improved strength and reduced water absorption. The study highlights the dual benefits of waste management and material innovation, aligning with sustainable development goals. By repurposing plastic waste into construction applications, this approach not only mitigates environmental impact but also contributes to the advancement of green building technologies. Further research is recommended to explore long-term durability, thermal properties, and scalability of LDPE-based concrete products in real-world construction settings.

Women's leadership is recognized as a strategic factor driving organizational success through the formation of effective and sustainable team collaboration. Beyond simply directing, women leaders build a conducive work climate where team members are valued, engaged, and have equal opportunities to contribute. Across various sectors, they demonstrate the ability to manage team dynamics with a participatory, collaborative approach, and a focus on healthy interpersonal relationships. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to describe the role, benefits, and challenges of women's leadership in human resource (HR) development. Twelve articles published between 2020 and 2024 were selected based on the PICOC framework to ensure academic validity. The study results indicate that women's leadership is synonymous with a participatory style, empathy, and open communication that encourages time commitment, the flow of ideas, innovation, and productivity. Women leaders create a psychologically safe work environment, value differences of opinion, and encourage cross-functional collaboration. Their role is increasingly important in the era of flexible work and digital transformation, where empathy and communication are key to maintaining team motivation and productivity. However, challenges such as gender stereotypes, structural barriers, and cultural resistance still limit the effectiveness of women's leadership, especially in strategic positions and high-level decision-making. In many cases, women leaders still have to work harder to gain legitimacy, even though they have the same or even higher qualifications than their male counterparts. Addressing this requires more inclusive organizational policies, gender-based leadership training programs, mentoring, and consistent advocacy for equality. Companies and public institutions must actively create an ecosystem that supports women's leadership development, including equal access to strategic career opportunities.

This study aims to describe the social transformations found in the literary aspects of the Advanced Indonesian Language Textbook for grade 11 and analyze its relationship to the construction of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5). The main focus of this study is to examine how the literary works presented in the textbook function not only as a medium for language learning but also as a vehicle for character development and social understanding for students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with sociological literary analysis techniques, where data is obtained from excerpts from poetry, short stories, and plays that depict social change. The results indicate that the social transformations reflected in these literary works are divided into two main forms: collective behavior and social movements. Collective behavior is demonstrated through themes of fashion and fashion, urban legends, and the phenomenon of mass hysteria, which implicitly depict social conflict, class inequality, and the dynamics of societal culture. Meanwhile, social movements are depicted in the narratives of characters who fight for change against norms, traditions, and social structures that limit freedom. This representation demonstrates resistance, critical awareness, and a drive towards a more just and equal life. The findings of this study are closely related to the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, such as critical reasoning skills, a spirit of mutual cooperation, an attitude of upholding social justice, and independence in thought and action. Therefore, it can be concluded that literary works in Indonesian language textbooks not only present aesthetic value and literary appreciation, but also serve as an effective means of instilling national values and supporting the formation of student character in accordance with the vision of Pancasila.

This study aims to identify and analyze the main challenges in the implementation of e-government in Papua Province, employing a descriptive qualitative approach based on secondary data. Papua, with its unique geographical conditions and socio-cultural characteristics, faces considerable obstacles in digital transformation, despite national policies to accelerate the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). The analysis highlights several key challenges, including limited ICT infrastructure, low digital literacy, weak system interoperability, cultural resistance, and the absence of adaptive regulatory frameworks. To comprehensively interpret these complexities, this research integrates multiple theoretical lenses, namely the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework, the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), ICT readiness, and organizational resistance theory. Findings reveal that while Papua’s internet penetration rate has reached 69.91%, the adoption and utilization of public digital services remain significantly low. This gap reflects a disconnect between technological availability and institutional as well as cultural readiness. Moreover, the lack of involvement of local communities and indigenous leaders in the design and implementation of digital services has exacerbated the challenges of public acceptance and trust in government-led innovations. These limitations not only hinder service delivery but also create disparities in the broader agenda of equitable digital transformation across Indonesia. In response, this study recommends several strategic solutions: strengthening ICT infrastructure to reduce connectivity disparities, enhancing digital literacy programs tailored to local needs, drafting regulations that are context-sensitive and flexible, and applying cultural-based as well as participatory approaches to increase legitimacy and acceptance. By doing so, e-government initiatives in Papua can become more inclusive, sustainable, and effective. Overall, this study contributes to the literature on e-government in disadvantaged and high-complexity regions, emphasizing the urgency of inclusive and equitable digital policy design.

This article analyzes the song "Sukatani" by Sukatani Band as a form of musical expression that represents Eastern nuances within a post-punk aesthetic framework. The research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive approach through a music analysis method based on Jan LaRue's theory in Guidelines for Style Analysis (1970), which includes six main parameters: melody, harmony, rhythm, texture, form, and instrumentation. This analysis aims to reveal how the musical elements in the song can be read as a meeting between the post-punk idiom born in the West and the local socio-cultural context in Indonesia. The research findings show that "Sukatani" combines a minor pentatonic scale and repetitive structure as distinctive Eastern musical characteristics, while maintaining the monotonous and intense impression synonymous with post-punk aesthetics. From a lyrical perspective, the use of ngapak language not only strengthens local identity but also presents an authentic expression close to the daily lives of rural communities. The lyrics voice social criticism regarding class inequality, state repression, and respect for peasant labor as the foundation of collective life. Thus, music is not merely an aesthetic medium, but also a means of articulating cultural resistance against the dominance of central discourse and the hegemony of mainstream popular culture. Furthermore, analysis of texture and instrumentation reveals a combination of distorted guitars, repetitive bass patterns, and rigid drum beats, all of which create a tense yet meditative atmosphere.

Wireless Medical Sensor Networks (WMSNs) are a key component of modern Healthcare Internet of Things (IoT) systems, enabling continuous and real-time monitoring of patients’ physiological parameters. These networks support timely medical intervention, improve patient outcomes, and facilitate remote healthcare delivery. However, due to the open and resource-constrained nature of WMSNs, they are highly susceptible to various security threats, particularly during the authentication phase. Existing authentication protocols have been found vulnerable to a range of attacks, including impersonation, session key disclosure, and gateway database compromise, which can lead to severe privacy breaches and potentially life-threatening situations. To address these issues, this paper proposes a secure and lightweight three-factor authentication protocol tailored for WMSNs in healthcare IoT environments. The proposed protocol integrates Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) for strong public key-based security with minimal computational overhead, fuzzy extractors to securely handle biometric information and ensure resistance against biometric template compromise, and session-based randomness to achieve forward secrecy and prevent replay or key-compromise impersonation attacks. Security analysis demonstrates that the proposed protocol successfully mitigates prominent threats such as impersonation attacks, man-in-the-middle attacks, session key leakage, and database compromise. In addition, the protocol ensures mutual authentication between the user, the gateway, and the sensor nodes, while maintaining data confidentiality and integrity. Performance evaluation indicates that the protocol offers significantly reduced computational cost and communication delay compared to existing schemes. Its low energy consumption and minimal storage requirements make it suitable for deployment in resource-constrained medical devices and large-scale IoT healthcare networks. The results highlight the protocol’s scalability, energy efficiency, and robustness, making it a practical and secure solution for safeguarding patient data and ensuring trustworthy communication in WMSNs-based healthcare IoT systems.

Hypertension is a chronic disease characterized by persistently elevated blood pressure. This condition occurs when the arteries narrow, obstructing blood flow and increasing pressure on the vessel walls. As a result, the heart is forced to work harder to pump blood throughout the body. If this condition is not properly controlled, it can lead to serious complications such as damage to the blood vessels, heart, kidneys, and even the brain. Therefore, effective management of hypertension is crucial, not only with pharmacological treatment but also through non-pharmacological interventions such as regular exercise. One recommended form of light exercise is brisk walking, which involves brisk walking at moderate intensity. This exercise is known to reduce peripheral resistance when the body's muscles contract, which in turn helps control blood pressure and increase cardiac output. This case study aims to determine the effectiveness of brisk walking therapy on the risk of decreased cardiac output in hypertensive patients. The intervention was carried out on hypertensive patients through home visits three days a week, with one meeting each morning. Patients were given brisk walking therapy with a specific duration and intensity according to their condition. Evaluation was carried out by measuring blood pressure before and after the intervention using a standard observation sheet. After three interventions, there was a significant decrease in blood pressure in patients. This indicates a positive effect of brisk walking on the cardiovascular system of hypertensive patients. Brisk walking is an effective and easy-to-do non-pharmacological therapy to help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of decreased cardiac output in hypertensive patients. It is hoped that this therapy can become part of a self-help intervention carried out continuously in the patient's home environment.

An auction is an open sales mechanism that provides the public with the opportunity to acquire goods or assets through the highest bid. This process begins with an official announcement and is carried out transparently. In line with the development of information technology and efforts to modernize public services, the Indonesian government issued Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 122 of 2023 concerning Auction Implementation Guidelines. This regulation aims to update and simplify the auction process with a digital approach to make it more effective, efficient, and reach the wider community. This study aims to analyze the implementation of PMK 122/2023 at the Surakarta State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL) and identify obstacles encountered in its implementation. The research method used is a juridical-empirical with a qualitative approach, where primary data was obtained through interviews with auction officials and related staff at the Surakarta KPKNL, while secondary data was collected from regulations, official documents, and legal literature. The research results show that the implementation of PMK 122/2023 has had a positive impact on improving the quality of auction services through digitalization, such as the implementation of an e-Auction system, the provision of e-Auction Corner facilities, and the use of other information technology to facilitate public access. Based on Soerjono Soekanto's theory of legal implementation, the success of policy implementation is influenced by factors such as legal substance, law enforcement officers, and the legal culture of the community. The Surakarta KPKNL (National Public Service Agency) is considered successful in increasing efficiency, accountability, and service satisfaction to the community. However, obstacles remain in its implementation, such as disputes over ownership of auction objects, resistance to occupants' evictions, and technical and administrative challenges in using online systems. This research recommends the need for inter-agency synergy, strengthening complementary regulations, and public education to support the smooth and sustainable implementation of digital-based auctions.
