Breast preparation for breastfeeding begins during pregnancy, which is characterized by the breasts becoming larger along with the increase in the number and size of the alveoli glands as a result of increasing levels of the hormone estrogen. This occurs until a baby has been breastfed for a few days when actual milk production begins. In the first few days the breasts secrete colostrum which is very important for the baby's health. Breasts produce breast milk starting when the baby begins to suckle on the nipple and the resulting physical stimulation causes impulses in the nerve endings which are then sent to the hypothalamus in the brain which in turn tells the pituitary gland in the brain to produce the hormones oxytocin and prolactin (Anik, 2016). This study aims to analyze the relationship between oxytocin massage and breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Ibu Kartini Hospital, West Kisaran, Asahan Regency in 2023. This research is correlational with a cross sectional approach and bivariate data analysis is data analysis used in research to determine the relationship or influence of variables. independent (independent) with a dependent (dependent) variable using Chi Square analysis with a significant p-value (0.05) (Hardani, 2020) Based on the research results. Based on the results of statistical tests using Chi-Square, it was obtained with a p value of 0.001 that the breast milk output of postpartum mothers before oxytocin massage was mostly not enough breast milk. Postpartum mothers' breast milk output after massage is mostly breast milk This means that there is an influence of oxytocin massage on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Ibu Kartini Hospital, West Kisaran, Asahan Regency in 2023

Babies have three needs that must be met by parents, namely physical-biological needs which are useful for brain growth, sensory systems and motor skills. Interpersonal and intrapersonal emotional intelligence through the need for affection, as well as the need for stimulus or stimulation to improve the working mechanisms of the sensory and motor systems. The most important thing in a child's growth and development is stimulation (Maharani, 2017). This study aims to analyze the effect of baby massage on weight gain in babies aged 3-6 months at the Uluan Community Health Center, Toba Regency in 2023. In this research, researchers used a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design to compare the results of health program interventions. in a similar control, but not necessarily the same group (Zulkarnain, 2018) Statistical test using Microsoft Excel and Paired Test to test differences in dependent data (dependent samples). The error rate or significance level (a) used is 0.05 with a confidence interval (CI) of 95% (Hardani, 2020). Based on the research results. Based on the results of statistical tests using Chi-Square, it was obtained that Based on the results of statistical tests using the paired t test, t = 6.610. Because t count (6.610) > t table (2.0345), HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an influence of baby massage on increasing postpartum mothers regarding breast care with smooth breast milk production in Jatimulyo Village, Serdang Bedagai Regency in 2023

Background: Health is something that is very important for human life. Health and lifestyle are influenced by developments over time. One example is the lack of consumption of foods with fiber to meet daily needs, which causes health problems, namely appendicitis. Appendicitis is a common cause of acute inflammation of the right lower quadrant of the abdominal cavity, which is treated by emergency abdominal surgery. The inflammatory process that occurs in the appendix increases intraluminal pressure which causes the pain to become more severe, generalized or periumbilical and move to the right lower quadrant. One way to deal with pain is by applying the effleurage technique (massage/touch therapy). The aim of this case study is to determine the reduction in pain scale in post-appendectomy patients after effleurage technique therapy (massage/touch therapy). The method used in this case study is case study design with a nursing care process approach. The subjects in this case study were 2 patients, who were obtained from inclusion and exclusion criteria, data collection using the numeric rating scale (NRS). The results of the case study show that the average pain level of the two patients after being given effleurage technique therapy intervention (massage/touch therapy) for 3 days experienced a change from moderate pain to mild pain. The conclusion of this case study shows that there were changes that occurred after the effleurage technique (massage/touch therapy) was given to the 2 patients and they experienced a decrease in the pain scale.

Breastfeeding is a natural process that is not easy to do. The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding cannot be separated from problems that occur in the breastfeeding process, including the wrong belief that little milk comes out or breast milk is not sufficient for the baby's needs. This situation is caused by several factors including food and drinks consumed by the mother, psychological or emotional conditions of the mother, abnormal breast shape. New methods introduced to prevent and overcome this problem include endorphine massage and lactation massage, massage techniques performed on the head or neck, back, spine, and breast areas that aim to stimulate the hormones prolactin and oxytocin. The purpose of this dedication is to improve the knowledge and skills of breastfeeding mothers in doing lactation massage. The method carried out is to provide training starting with the correct preparation of breastfeeding material. The results of the training that has been given to breastfeeding mothers who attend the posyandu already know and are skilled in practicing lactation massage.

Postpartum hemorrhage is a frequent cause of death in mothers with 1,280 cases. One of the causes of postpartum bleeding is a uterus that does not contract or is called uterine atony. Uterine atony keeps the blood vessels open so that blood continues to flow. Efforts to make the uterus contract are by uterine massage. Uterine massage helps make the blood vessels close and stimulates contractions so that the height of the fundus decreases, indicating that the uterus is slowly shrinking. Research objective: to determine the effect of uterine massage on reducing the height of the uterine fundus as an effort to prevent post-partum bleeding. Method: This research uses a quasi-experimental design, namely post test control group design. The sample in this study was part of normal postpartum mothers at BPM. The sample was divided into a treatment group and a control group. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the unpaired sample t test. The results of the independent t test obtained a p value of 0.071 (p > 0.05). This means that there is no effect of uterine massage on reducing the height of the uterine fundus.
