The film “Hati Suhita” released in 2023 is an adaptation of the novel by Khilma Anis. Because it is set in an Islamic boarding school causes the film to have dialogues that are thick with politeness. However, this does not deny that the film also contains conversational implicatures. The aim of this study is to describe the forms of conversational implicatures found in the film “Hati Suhita” and explain how the process of violating the principle of cooperation and the principle of politeness can cause the emergence of implicatures. This study uses two approaches, namely a theoretical approach with pragmatic studies and a qualitative descriptive approach as a methodological approach. The data collection method uses the listening method with advanced techniques, namely the proficient free-involved listening technique and note-taking technique. Based on the 736 speech data from the film “Hati Suhita”, 63 speeches containing conversational implicature were found. The details of the implicature are 26 implicatures caused by the violation of cooperation principle and 37 implicatures caused by the violation of politeness principle. The thimble violation that creates the most implicature in the film is the violation of the thimble of agreement maxim. In addition, no violations of the thimble of modesty maxim and the thimble of obligation of S to O maxim were found in the analyzed data. Hopefully, this research can reveal the implied meanings in the dialogue between the characters in the film Hati Suhita.

Big data makes the problem time efficiency labeling process, therefore the lexicon dictionary is needed for the labeling process. Data is growing and circulating very rapidly so it takes a fast and efficient time. Although it is fast and makes it easier to solve problems, it is still necessary to question the accuracy produced when using the lexicon labeling. A comparison of the labeling process between the InSet lexicon and the VADER lexicon was conducted to determine the accuracy of the labeling. It was done by combining lexicon with machine learning method of support vector machine and TF-IDF weighting and accuracy result calculated using confusion marix. Data from social media X as many as 9117 lines and labeled with InSet lexicon result 5241 negative sentiments, 1369 positive, and 521 neutral. Then the labeling results with VADER produced 2749 positive, 2523 negative, and 1881 neutral. After labeled, processed SVM and calculated accuracy with results of InSet lexicon accuracy having an average of 85.8% while the VADER SVM lexicon has an average of 82.65%.

This study intends to ascertain the potential, issues, and requirements for learning English for marketing majors at vocational schools. It also seeks to evaluate the feasibility of the Busworld website, which was created as an alternate medium for this research. English communication abilities must be improved by vocational students. Issues that arise with marketing majors at vocational schools show that the same materials are still used in both general education and vocational education. A notable example of technology use in this study is the technology-based learning medium, which took the shape of a website centered around telecommunications. The Sugiyono Model is the model that is adapted for this research, which employs the Research and Development (R&D) technique. Finding Potential, Problems, and Data Analysis, Design Validation, Product Design, Product Testing, Product Revision, Final Product, and Publication are the steps that have been modified. The SMK Pemuda 1 Kesamben, SMK PGRI 2 Sutojayan, and SMKN 1 Kademangan served as the research's field sites. This study's data is quantitative in the form of teacher and student answers and product validation results, and qualitative in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation. The study's findings suggest that using the Busworld website as an alternate medium can help marketing students expand their vocabulary related to business. The results of the media validation and material validation, which were completed by three experts each, and which yielded a score of 98%, indicating high validity, serve as evidence for this. Additionally, 88.5% of the replies from thirty marketing students and three teachers were included in the results of the teacher and student surveys. In summary, the Busworld website, which offers resources such as 100 lists of verbs, 100 lists of nouns, 50 business abbreviations, and 50 conversations with business themes, is a valuable tool for improving the business vocabulary proficiency of marketing students at vocational schools.
