This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to explore the main challenges in child protection as well as effective strategies for overcoming these challenges. This research was carried out through a series of systematic stages, starting from formulating research questions, literature search, literature selection, data extraction, data analysis and synthesis, to presentation of results. The main challenges in child protection include violence against children and exploitation of children in various forms. Effective strategies include cross-sector collaborative approaches, community education, and strengthening local child protection systems. Implementation of this strategy requires adaptation to different local contexts, as illustrated in case studies in Indonesia. The SLR method was used to ensure a comprehensive and reliable analysis by minimizing research bias. Validity and reliability were strengthened through data triangulation and independent analysis by two researchers. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide a strong foundation for the development of child protection policies and programs, not only in Indonesia but also in other countries that face similar challenges. This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of effective child protection strategies, as well as offering practical recommendations for the implementation of child protection policies in various contexts.

Nara Kitchen is a daily catering service provider with a varied menu every day. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, catering demand has increased to 130 portions per delivery. This surge in demand necessitates improvements to the layout of production facilities, as higher production volume results in increased activity between workstations. Consequently, Nara Kitchen aims to enhance the layout of its facilities to optimize production efficiency. Facility layout improvements are implemented using the Blocplan method and are simulated through a discrete systems approach. The Blocplan method designs the layout based on the proximity between departments, aiming to minimize overall travel distance. The results of the layout improvements are then simulated using Flexsim software before being implemented. The simulation outcomes demonstrate reduced weekly travel distances. The movement distance for workers traveling from the kitchen workstation to the compounding workstation has decreased by 5.33m, while workers moving from the kitchen workstation to the packing workstation experience a reduction in movement distance of 142.38m

This article deals with our plural and global society of today which impede the validity of ethical values. In this sense, the values of Christian ethics are needed to approach contemporary social issue. We must respond to the current situation of humanity by using library resources and observations of ethical issue in our society and how they can develop their normative effects under the conditions of freedom, plurality, demographic and digital change, as well as the complex economic and financial systems and, last but not least, under the fragile approval of the institutions of international politics. The argument then moves to the meta-theory of Christian ethics, namely the revelation of God as it is expressed in the ‘book of nature’, the written word, and the incarnate Word, Jesus Christ. The article concludes that as long as the values of Christian ethics remains faithful to this meta-theory, understands the modern macro-ethical questions and maintains a deep social focus, it will remain relevant in a plural and global society.

In the current era of globalization, many local communities throughout the world, including in rural Ambulu, Jember, are experiencing changes in values and customs due to global influences. The local cultural values of the Ambulu rural community are known to be very rich and diverse, but face challenges as a result of rapid globalization. This research aims to identify and analyze the impact of globalization on local cultural values in the rural community of Ambulu Jember, with a focus on how these values persist or change over time. This research uses a qualitative approach by applying contemporary theory from Michael Foucault to analyze the data. The focus of analysis in this research looks at how the discourse and practices of power in society change along with the introduction of global values and how local communities react to these changes. The research results show that the Ambulu community experiences dualism in maintaining local cultural values. On the one hand, there are efforts by the community to maintain old customs and values, while on the other hand, several aspects of local culture have evolved or even been eroded due to the influence of globalization, such as changes in language, social rituals and kinship systems. The impact of globalization on local cultural values demands more inclusive adaptation strategies and more strategic cultural preservation so that rural communities such as those in Ambulu can maintain their cultural identity while receiving the benefits of globalization.
