This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 4P marketing mix strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) at Firdaus Farm, a tilapia farming business in Tasikmalaya, and its effectiveness in enhancing the business's competitiveness and profitability. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study through observations, interviews, and direct documentation at the business location. The research findings indicate that the product strategy, which emphasizes tilapia quality—such as freshness, uniform size, clean packaging, and quality certification—constitutes the primary factor in attracting consumer interest. The flexible and competitive pricing strategy, adjusted according to market conditions and consumer purchasing power, along with bonuses for loyal customers, proved to increase customer loyalty and sales. Product distribution is carried out through traditional channels and has begun utilizing digital platforms to expand market reach, with the strategic location of the business supporting distribution efficiency. Promotion, still mainly traditional, is starting to develop into digital promotion through social media, which effectively increases product visibility and appeal. This study concludes that the consistent and adaptive application of the 4P marketing mix can enhance Firdaus Farm’s competitiveness in the tilapia market. It is recommended that business practitioners continue to develop product innovations, evaluate pricing, expand digital distribution, and optimize digital promotion in order to face increasingly intense market competition.

This study aims to analyze the violations of Islamic business ethics, particularly in the aspect of product transparency, committed by PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia. The research utilizes a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach. Data is collected from various sources, including academic journals, reports, and documented cases related to PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia’s halal issues and product safety. The findings reveal that PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia violated the principles of Islamic business ethics in 2001 by using pork-derived enzymes in MSG production without clear disclosure, which led to its product being declared non-halal by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). Additionally, the company was accused of using harmful additives such as formalin. These practices conflicted with the halalan thayyiban concept in Islam, which demands both lawful and wholesome consumption. This research emphasizes the importance of applying Islamic ethical principles, especially transparency, in the food industry to maintain consumer trust and comply with religious and safety standards. The findings can be used as a reference for policy recommendations in strengthening halal certification governance and ethical auditing. This study provides a focused ethical analysis of a real-world business case from an Islamic perspective, highlighting the consequences of ethical breaches in a Muslim-majority market.

The halal pharmaceutical industry is experiencing significant growth as consumer awareness and demand for Sharia-compliant products continue to rise. This study conducted a bibliometric analysis to examine research trends, influential authors, and key themes related to halal pharmaceutical consumer behavior. Using a dataset of 103 articles retrieved from Google Scholar, the study applied bibliometric methods, including performance analysis and science mapping, to identify research patterns. The findings revealed an increasing number of publications over the years, highlighting the growing academic interest in this field. Keyword co-occurrence analysis indicates that topics such as halal certification, consumer trust, and regulatory compliance are central themes in the literature, while emerging areas such as digital marketing and supply chain transparency present new research opportunities. Awareness of the importance of halal certification in Indonesia, especially among micro and small business actors (MSEs) in the food and beverage sector, is still low. This is in line with government regulations that require halal products for the Muslim majority community. The halal certification education program held in Panempam Village, Pamekasan, aims to improve the understanding and readiness of MSE actors in applying for halal certification according to the self-declare scheme regulated in the SEHATI program. This educational activity involved 20 MSE participants who attended discussion and training sessions to understand the concept of halal, the importance of certification, and application procedures in accordance with the latest regulations. Observations and interviews conducted in the initial stage showed a low understanding of MSE actors regarding halal certification procedures. However, after the education, there was an increase in knowledge and interest of participants to apply for halal certification. The results of this activity indicate that halal certification education can increase the awareness of MSE actors to produce safe, quality products that meet halal standards, which in turn will build consumer trust in local products. In conclusion, training like this plays an important role in encouraging MSEs to comply with regulations, increase product competitiveness in the market, and contribute to the regional economy. In the future, continued support in the form of technical assistance is expected to ensure the sustainability of the halal certification program among MSEs.

This study aims to assess the extent of business actors' understanding of halal certification in Pangkalpinang City. The research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected from micro, small, and medium enterprises in Pangkalpinang, involving eight UMKM actors as informants. The findings reveal that most business actors have a fairly good awareness of the importance of halal certification for their products. However, the limited knowledge possessed by UMKM actors regarding certification leads to a lack of clear understanding of the procedures and application process. This situation is caused by the lack of outreach efforts from relevant parties, particularly the Pangkalpinang City government. Therefore, the government needs to make extra efforts to provide socialization and education to business actors so they can clearly understand the flow and procedures for halal certification registration for their products. In addition, the role of Halal Product Assistants (PPH) is also crucial, as they are directly involved with the community

The Community Service Program (KKN) in Sukosari Village, Jumantono District, Karanganyar Regency, which will be implemented in August 2024, aims to overcome the problem of community service by focusing on preventing stunting and empowering MSMEs. The main problems identified include the high rate of stunting among children and limited knowledge and support for local MSME actors. The main aim of this activity is to increase public awareness regarding the importance of nutritious nutritional intake to prevent stunting, strengthen the branding of MSME products, and ensure that these products meet legality standards through the creation of a Business Identification Number (NIB) and halal certification. The method applied includes several strategic steps, namely making complementary food products in the form of spinach nuggets and fruit salad which are aimed at meeting children's nutritional needs and reducing the risk of stunting. In addition, information signs on stunting prevention were installed in strategic locations such as posyandu and village halls to increase public awareness. To support MSMEs, the KKN team also designs label and banner designs aimed at increasing the attractiveness and professionalism of products, as well as providing assistance in creating NIBs and halal certification so that MSME products can meet regulatory standards. The results of this activity show an increase in public knowledge regarding the importance of nutritious food and preventing stunting, as well as an increase in the ability of MSMEs to manage and market their products. MSME players benefit from new designs that increase the attractiveness of their products, as well as legality that expands market access. Qualitatively, this activity involved the active participation of 40 women in socialization and 15 MSME actors in the design and certification process, with full support from village officials and related agencies, which ensured the success and sustainability of the program.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pekasiran Village, Batur District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java, have begun to experience an increase in both the number of MSMEs and the types of businesses they carry out. This increase in the number has not been followed by the implementation of permits that must be carried out by business actors. The majority of MSMEs engaged in the food sector have indeed taken care of permits such as PIRT, however, there are still many who have not done so. This licensing socialization was provided while also assisting MSME actors to take care of permits such as making NIB (Business Identification Number), and also taking care of Halal certification. The results of the community service show that MSME actors are open to the importance of taking care of permits for their businesses. The licensing assistance process still needs to be carried out continuously and support from the local government is also needed.
