Iron deficiency is one of the main causes of anemia, especially in women of childbearing age who have higher iron requirements. Preventive efforts can be done through functional food innovations based on natural iron sources. Beetroot (Beta vulgaris L.) and red spinach (Amaranthus sp.) are known to contain iron in high amounts so they have the potential to be used as alternative raw materials in the manufacture of gluten-free noodles. This study aims to determine the effect of beetroot flour and red spinach flour formulations on the organoleptic properties (color, aroma, taste, and texture) and iron content of gluten-free noodle products. The study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments: F0 (control), F1 (50:50), F2 (75:25), and F3 (25:75). Iron content analysis was carried out using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method, while the organoleptic test involved 25 untrained panelists who were women aged 15–24 years. The results showed that treatment F3 produced the highest iron content of 12.092 ± 1.658 mg/100 g, while F2 achieved the highest sensory acceptability. Nevertheless, formulation F3 was determined to be the best formulation due to its optimal iron content. This gluten-free noodle product based on beetroot and red spinach has the potential to be developed as a functional food to prevent iron deficiency anemia in women of childbearing age.

Pop-up is a visual delivery technique in the form of three dimensions that falls under paper engineering, where paper is folded in such a way that it emerges or expands when a page is opened. This technique not only provides aesthetic value but also offers a more interactive reading experience for readers. Pop-up storybooks are designed to make the narrative within them come alive through the raised effects produced by folding techniques. Thus, readers not only enjoy the text but also gain a visual experience that supports their imagination of the story’s content. A well-designed pop-up book is determined by the effectiveness of the pop-up models used in clearly conveying the story’s message. The choice of folding models must align with the narrative so that the visual elements presented are not only aesthetically appealing but also communicative. This study aims to analyze the selection of pop-up models and to assess the extent to which these models successfully depict the story adapted from the Harry Potter film. The analysis results show that five types of pop-up models are used, namely magic box, V-folds, multiple layers, floating layers, and moving discs. Among these five, multiple layers are the most frequently used model, with a percentage of 35.3%. Meanwhile, effectiveness analysis indicates that 58.8% of the pop-up models employed successfully illustrate the story, both in terms of character visualization and storyline. In conclusion, the Harry Potter pop-up book demonstrates innovative and effective paper engineering techniques in storytelling. This proves that interactive media such as pop-up books can serve as a creative medium to enhance both the appeal and comprehension of readers toward a literary work or film adaptation.

Work fatigue is a significant issue faced by employees in Indonesia, with approximately 65% experiencing symptoms that reduce their concentration and performance. Excessive workload, particularly mental workload, can result in cognitive strain and decreased productivity. This study aims to measure the level of mental workload experienced by quality control employees at PT Delta Dunia Tekstil I using the NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method. The research also investigates the relationship between employees’ age, length of service, and perceived mental workload through T-tests and F-tests to provide a more comprehensive analysis. Data were collected from 20 quality control employees who are responsible for monitoring textile production under strict standards. Results from NASA-TLX calculations indicate that the average mental workload falls within the high category, with effort and own performance emerging as the dominant dimensions contributing to mental strain. Correlation analysis shows a negative but not statistically significant relationship between age, length of service, and mental workload, suggesting that other factors play a stronger role in shaping employees’ perceptions. The study further highlights fluctuations in employee attendance and quality performance indicators, emphasizing the importance of workload evaluation. To address these issues, recommendations include adding more operators per machine, which is projected to reduce mental workload scores by approximately 33%. Such measures can optimize task distribution, improve efficiency, and promote employee well-being. Overall, the findings suggest that systematic workload assessments using tools such as NASA-TLX are essential for enhancing productivity and supporting sustainable human resource management in the textile industry.

This study aims to describe the form and function of negation elements in the syntactic structure of Chairil Anwar's poetry anthology. The research method is descriptive qualitative with linguistic approach. The data sources are poetry texts by Chairil Anwar consisting of nine titles of Chairil Anwar's poems: Aku, Diponegoro, Karawang-Bekasi, Derai-Derai Cemara, Senja di Pelabuhan Kecil, Cintaku Jauh di Pulau, Hampa, Tak Sepadan and Siap Sedia. The data was collected using the documentation method, namely reading and scrutinizing the poetry texts to identify sentences that contain negation elements. The data found were then recorded and classified based on the form and location of the negation element in the syntactic structure of the sentence. Data analysis was conducted through several stages, namely: 1) identifying negation elements (all word/phrase elements containing negation elements in the poem); 2) classifying negation forms based on their types such as not, not, none, yet or don't; 3) analyzing syntactic structure (how the negation element functions in the syntactic structure, whether in predicate, subject, object or adverb; 4) interpreting the meaning and semantic and stylistic functions of negation elements in the context of the whole poem. To maintain data validity, this research uses theoretical triangulation by referring to various linguistic references (especially syntax and semantics) as well as previous studies on Chairil Anwar's poetry. In addition, data validation is done through cross-checking between readers on the results of identification and analysis. The results show that the element of negation plays a central role in shaping the syntactic structure, meaning and ideological and emotional character of his poetry.

This study examines the quality of a servant of God based on II Timothy 1:6–8 as a foundation for church development and spiritual growth. In reality, the role of God’s servant is often underestimated compared to other leadership roles in society, even though their quality greatly influences the life of the congregation and the direction of church ministry. The purpose of this research is to analyze the criteria for a quality servant of God in ministry, particularly in facing the challenges of the postmodern era, when relativism, individualism, and secularism often weaken spiritual commitment. The method used is a qualitative-analytical approach, with the primary data source being the biblical text of II Timothy 1:6–8, supported by secondary data obtained from theological literature, books, and relevant journal articles. Through exegesis and contextual analysis, this study identifies several essential criteria: the rekindling of spiritual gifts, the spirit of power, love, and self-discipline, as well as the courage to endure suffering for the sake of the Gospel. These characteristics are not only theological ideals but also practical demands for ministers who serve in a complex cultural and social environment. The findings of this study are expected to provide theoretical contributions to theological scholarship, particularly in the field of pastoral leadership and ecclesiology. In addition, the study offers practical guidance for church ministers in developing resilience, integrity, and Christ-centered leadership. The implication emphasizes that servant leadership rooted in character, love, obedience, and readiness to endure suffering is essential for strengthening faith, encouraging church growth, and glorifying God’s name. Therefore, the criteria outlined in II Timothy 1:6–8 remain highly relevant as a timeless foundation for effective ministry in the postmodern context

This article explores the spirituality of the bate symbol within the context of the blessing of Catholic church buildings in Tana Toraja as a concrete form of inculturation of the Christian faith into local culture. Originally, bate functioned as a religious symbol in traditional Toraja ceremonies for inaugurating tongkonan (ancestral houses). Over time, however, this symbol has been adopted and reinterpreted in Catholic liturgical celebrations, particularly during church blessing rituals. The study employs a qualitative method using a literature review and applies Paul Ricoeur’s hermeneutical framework, which consists of three stages: the world of the interpreter, the world of the text, and appropriation. The analysis reveals that bate can be understood as a cultural text rich in spiritual meaning. Traditionally, it symbolizes a connection between heaven and earth as well as cosmic power. Within the perspective of Christian inculturation, bate undergoes symbolic reinterpretation, representing values of faith such as the Trinity, the cross, the Eucharist, the Holy Scripture, and Jesus Christ as the mediator of salvation. The incorporation of bate in Catholic liturgy is not merely a cultural adaptation but a tangible manifestation of the encounter between faith and culture, achieved in a contextual and symbolic manner within Torajan society. This study affirms the significance of inculturation in proclaiming the Gospel in a way that is relevant and grounded, without compromising the core essence of Catholic faith. Furthermore, it recommends further research on other local symbols to enrich the dialogue between faith and culture in pastoral contexts.

UMKM Tahu XYZ, a small-scale tofu producer, is currently facing significant challenges in maintaining consistent product quality, primarily due to a high defect rate. Common issues identified include crumbled tofu shapes, overly soft textures, and inconsistent taste, which negatively impact customer satisfaction and business sustainability. This study aims to investigate the root causes of these quality issues and propose practical solutions using the Lean Six Sigma methodology. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach through the DMAIC framework—Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control—to ensure systematic problem-solving. Data were collected over a six-month period through direct observation, structured interviews, and review of production records. The analysis identified four dominant types of waste within the production process: unnecessary transportation, product defects, excessive movement, and over-processing. The root causes of these inefficiencies are linked to poor handling of raw materials, variability in soybean quality, and an ineffective production layout that hampers workflow and consistency. To address these problems, the study proposes several targeted interventions, including the redesign of the production layout to optimize flow, the implementation of the 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) workplace organization method, the development of standardized operating procedures (SOPs), and the adoption of improved soybean boiling technology. The implementation of these improvements is projected to significantly reduce product defects, enhance process efficiency, and ultimately increase customer satisfaction. Furthermore, these actions are expected to improve the overall competitiveness of UMKM Tahu XYZ within the highly demanding food industry sector. This research provides actionable insights for other micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) seeking to apply structured quality control methods to strengthen operational performance and long-term business resilience.

Tofu is a common food made from soybeans. However, because soybeans have limitations in terms of availability, other alternative ingredients such as palm kernel meal (BIS) are needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the best concentration of palm kernel meal added to tofu making so as to reduce dependence on the use of soybeans. The study was designed using a completely randomized design with 1 factorial, namely the concentration of BIS and soybeans. The concentration variations used were: A1 (control, 100% soybean), A2 (25% BIS: 75% soybean), A3 (50% BIS: 50% soybean), and A4 (75% BIS: 25% soybean). The parameters tested were BIS crude fiber, proximate analysis and tofu organoleptic. The results showed that BIS after fermentation experienced a decrease in crude fiber from 27.25 to 18.375%. Based on the proximate analysis, the variation of 75% BIS: 25% soybean is the best concentration with the highest protein content of 45.14%. Likewise, the moisture, ash, fat and carbohydrate content obtained were 79.05; 1.00; 6.20; and 0.96%. The organoleptic showed the level of panelists' liking for color, aroma, texture and taste with the value of panelists' liking level respectively 3.11; 4.09; 3.6 and 3.96 which indicates that this product can be accepted by the community.

Fermentation of seluang fish (Rasbora spp.) pekasam is a traditional method for extending shelf life and enhancing flavor, typically produced through spontaneous fermentation dominated by lactic acid bacteria (LAB). However, uncontrolled production processes lead to significant variability in product quality. This research aims to optimize the fermentation process of seluang fish pekasam through a series of controlled microbiology-based experimental practicums. The experiments were designed to investigate the impact of two main parameters: (1) the use of a LAB starter culture isolated from high-quality pekasam, and (2) the control of incubation temperature (e.g., at 25°C and 30°C). During the fermentation period, samples were periodically analyzed to measure changes in physicochemical parameters, including pH, moisture content, and salt concentration. Microbiological analysis was performed to count the populations of LAB and other spoilage microbes. The results showed that the use of a LAB starter culture significantly accelerated the pH drop within the first 24 hours, reaching a critical pH below 4.5, which effectively inhibited the growth of pathogenic microbes. Furthermore, the optimal raw material ratio and controlled incubation temperature resulted in pekasam with a firmer texture and a more balanced sour-savory taste, differing significantly from spontaneously fermented products. Organoleptic tests confirmed panelists' preference for the product made with the optimal treatment. The conclusion of this study is that optimization through microbiology-based experimental practicums is key to the standardization and improvement of the quality and food safety of pekasam products.

Indonesia has many types of junk food that have a strong taste, but are generally not nutritionally balanced, namely high in fat, salt, or sugar and low in fiber. One of the most popular is nuggets which are generally made from meat. As a healthier alternative, nuggets are made using oyster mushrooms which are low in fat and higher in fiber, and combined with gluten-free and high-fiber corn and tapioca flour to replace wheat flour which contains gluten. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of corn and tapioca flour on the physicochemical characteristics of oyster mushroom nuggets. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 5 treatments in duplicate. The formulation was used with a combination of corn and tapioca flour, namely 60: 0 (P1), 45: 15 (P2), 30: 30 (P3), 15: 45 (P4), and 0: 60 (P5). The results of the analysis have an effect (P <0.05) on chemical characteristics with a range (db%) of ash content of 3.9% -4.71%; fat content 1.37% - 7.76%; protein content 6.79% - 18.79%; carbohydrate content 71.46% - 77.43%; crude fiber 3.9% - 8.27%, and on physical characteristics with a textured range of 1.1N-2.69 N; color L 50.55- 53.73; color a 2.78- 4.64; color b 10.89-13.71. The implications of this study indicate that online substitution into mushrooms with a combination of corn flour and tapioca can affect the nutritional value and quality of nuggets.

This article explores the theme of faithfulness amid suffering through a narrative and theological analysis of Job 1:1–22, while also examining its relevance for the Christian faith today. Job is chosen as the central figure due to his portrayal in the Bible as a man who endured extreme suffering yet maintained his spiritual integrity. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, analyzing biblical texts and relevant theological literature. The study focuses on understanding suffering as a test of faith allowed by God, rather than as punishment for sin. The analysis reveals that Job is portrayed as a righteous, upright, God-fearing man who shunned evil. In Job 1:1–22, he loses all his wealth and children in a very short time, yet continues to submit to God’s will. His well-known declaration, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord,” affirms the depth of his faith and obedience. Job’s faithfulness is not transactional, but emerges from a pure spiritual relationship with God. Job’s story remains highly relevant for contemporary Christians. In today’s world filled with adversity, Job teaches that suffering is not necessarily a sign of wrongdoing or lack of faith, but can be a means for spiritual growth and character formation. This article affirms that true faith will remain steadfast even when tested by suffering. Thus, Job stands as an enduring example of unwavering faithfulness to God in the face of deep crisis.

This study aims to integrate the Grounded Theory approach with James Spradley’s ethnographic method in hadith studies to understand the contextual meaning of hadiths within the social life of the community. The background of this research lies in the limitations of the classical hadith approach, which tends to focus only on textual aspects (sanad and matn) while lacking exploration of the underlying social and cultural meanings. Using a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, the primary data are sourced from hadith collections such as Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, while the secondary data consist of literature on qualitative methodology, ethnography, and Grounded Theory. Data collection techniques were conducted through library research and analyzed using Spradley’s nine steps of ethnographic analysis, including domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and theme analysis. The results indicate that the integration of these approaches enables the construction of thematic categories from hadiths based on the social experiences of the Muslim community and generates substantive theories relevant to the dynamics of Muslim social life. This approach not only broadens the understanding of hadith texts but also emphasizes the importance of viewing hadiths as social constructions embedded within Islamic culture.

This study analyzes Kompas.com’s news coverage of the Papua conflict and human rights issues during the 2024 Presidential Debate to examine media neutrality through Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) integrated with Teun A. Van Dijk’s model. The analysis covers three dimensions: micro (text), meso (discursive practice), and macro (social practice), using a qualitative descriptive method. Data from 21 news excerpts reveal that social and political contexts are clearly represented, focusing on the strategies of the three presidential candidates in addressing human rights and conflict issues in Papua. The findings highlight the importance of realizing the Papua-related commitments made during the debate by the elected president, given the rising trend of violence and the unresolved justice issues in the region. The study demonstrates that media coverage, even by a leading news outlet such as Kompas.com, carries the potential to influence public perception regarding sensitive political and social issues. At the micro level, the language and lexical choices in the news articles often convey subtle ideological positions, including the framing of human rights violations and conflict events, which may reflect both explicit and implicit biases. At the meso level, discursive practices, including editorial decisions, headline constructions, and sourcing patterns, contribute to the shaping of narratives, highlighting certain aspects of the candidates’ statements while minimizing others. Meanwhile, at the macro level, the broader societal and political context, including historical grievances, regional tensions, and national political dynamics, provides the backdrop against which news coverage is produced and consumed, indicating the complex interplay between
