This community service activity aims to increase the awareness of the community around the IAIN Ambon campus regarding the importance of plastic waste management and maintaining environmental cleanliness. Through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, students of the Islamic Criminal Law Study Program at the Faculty of Sharia IAIN Ambon acted as facilitators in the socialization and implementation of plastic waste recycling activities. This activity included education on the negative impacts of plastic waste, waste sorting practices, recycled product creation, and waste cleanup actions. The results showed positive changes in community behavior towards the environment and improved students' skills in applying the amar ma'ruf nahi munkar principle. This activity not only had a tangible social impact but also strengthened the application of Islamic values in the context of environmental preservation.

Waste management in Karang Bawang Village is only transported by garbage officers, garbage transportation is carried out once a week or twice still using the transportation system, then disposed of to the landfill. The problem found in Karang Bawang Village is that there is organic waste that is disposed of carelessly and not managed specifically so that the waste causes environmental problems such as unpleasant odors, damaging the scenery, as a hotbed of disease and others. One way of processing waste is by processing the waste into liquid organic fertilizer. Liquid organic fertilizer (POC) is a solution resulting from the decay of organic materials derived from crop residues, household waste, animal urine, animal and human waste. In this community service activity, a training method for making liquid organic fertilizer was carried out with PKK women in Karang Bawang Village. The results of this community service can increase knowledge for PKK mothers to be able to utilize the remains of household waste to make liquid organic fertilizer which can be used to fertilize plants. And as an effort to utilize abundant household waste and reduce household waste in the community.

Used cooking oil is oil that has decomposed fatty acids at certain limits so that it becomes unfit for use. Used cooking oil is obtained from the process of cooking or heating food using oil repeatedly and at high temperatures. The behavior that is often carried out by the community is that after being used repeatedly, the used cooking oil will be immediately dumped into the ground, ditches, pipelines or waters. This can result in environmental pollution in the form of death of aquatic biota, organisms in the soil, closing soil pores, contaminating groundwater and even increasing COD and BOD in soil and water. This type of community service is classified as expert service, namely community service carried out by lecturers in accordance with their field of knowledge, in this case through training activities in the pursuit of waste cooking oil using practical methods. The results of this service increase knowledge of the physical characteristics of cooking oil damage, the dangers of repeated use of oil, knowledge of waste used cooking oil management, and increased knowledge of waste used cooking oil utilization

Paving blocks, also known as concrete bricks, are one of the materials commonly used by the public with many uses. Paving type A for roads, paving type B for parking lots, paving type C for pedestrians and paving type D for parks and other uses. Related to waste management efforts in Indonesia, efforts have been made to process one of them by processing plastic waste into paving blocks. From the research results, the maximum compressive strength value was obtained in a mixture of 30% Polypropylene plastic: 70% fine aggregate with a compressive strength value of 16.11 MPa, this value can be included in quality class C which can be used for pedestrians. There is quite a lot of this plastic waste in the coastal environment of Situbondo, Gelung Village. Therefore, one of our programs is to provide training to junior high school students and the academic community at SMPN 4 Panarukan SATAP in processing colorful plastic into paving blocks
