Fiqh learning at MA Islamic Centre Bin Baz Yogyakarta faces challenges, particularly in understanding the Fathul Qarib Al-Mujib book, which is written in Arabic. This difficulty is more pronounced among students without a pesantren background, affecting their academic performance. Observations indicate that only 60% of students achieve learning mastery, while 40% score below the minimum competency standard (KKM) of 80. To address this issue, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of PPT Canva as a learning medium in improving the learning outcomes of tenth-grade students. This research employs a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consists of two classes: the experimental class, which uses PPT Canva, and the control class, which does not. Data were collected through written tests (pretest and posttest), observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the t-test and N-Gain test with SPSS Windows 25. The findings reveal that using PPT Canva significantly improves learning outcomes, with a significance level of 0.032 (<0.05). The average pretest score for the experimental class was 54.14, increasing to 84.34 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.6469 (moderate category). The percentage of learning mastery increased from 0% to 85.71%. Thus, it can be concluded that using PPT Canva is effective in enhancing Fiqh learning outcomes for tenth-grade students at MA Islamic Centre Bin Baz Yogyakarta.

The Quraysh dialect is one of the Arabic language variants that has played a significant role in the formation of Standard Arabic. This dialect became dominant during the pre-Islamic era and remained influential after the spread of Islam, particularly as it was used in the codification of the Qur’an. This study aims to examine the role of the Quraysh dialect in shaping Standard Arabic from the perspective of Fiqh al-Lughah and to analyze the linguistic and social factors that contributed to its dominance. This research employs a qualitative method with a historical linguistic and sociolinguistic approach. Data is collected from various sources discussing the historical development of Arabic, the codification of the Qur’an, and the social factors influencing the spread of the Quraysh dialect. The findings indicate that the Quraysh dialect possessed advantages in phonology, morphology, and syntax, making it superior to other Arabic dialects. Additionally, social factors such as the Quraysh tribe’s role in trade, politics, and religion further solidified its position as the standard language. The implications of this study emphasize that the Quraysh dialect not only influenced the development of Standard Arabic but also contributed to the broader linguistic framework of Islamic scholarship. This research is expected to provide insights into Fiqh al-Lughah, particularly in understanding the standardization process of Arabic and the socio-cultural influences on its evolution.

The English language teaching at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Falah aims to improve the students' communication skills in English through an approach that is more adaptive to the organizational culture. This pesantren has a habit of using Arabic in daily life, so in the teaching of English, Arabic terms such as “huwa,” “huma,” and “huna” are used in teaching pronouns. The method applied involves interactive teaching, adapted to the students’ habits, where each session begins with an explanation of English concepts, which are then linked to Arabic terms that the students are already familiar with. This activity took place over four meetings per month, with morning and afternoon sessions. The results of the teaching activity showed an improvement in the students' understanding of basic English concepts, especially in teaching pronouns, which were easier to understand when linked to Arabic. The discussion in this activity revealed that adapting the language of instruction to the local culture, in this case, Arabic, can create a more comfortable atmosphere and support the students' enthusiasm for learning. Students, who initially felt less confident in speaking English, became more active and open to practicing. In conclusion, English teaching that is adapted to the organizational culture, especially through the use of Arabic in teaching, has proven effective in improving students' understanding and communication skills in English, as well as creating a learning environment that is more enjoyable and relevant to their needs

The ability to read in Arabic is a basic skill that is very important for santri in understanding religious texts. However, many students still experience difficulties in reading Arabic words and sentences due to less interactive learning methods. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of interactive methods in improving the reading skills of students at Musholla Al-Masykurin. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of interactive methods, such as group discussions and the use of audiovisual media, had a positive impact on improving santri reading skills. spam is posting unsolicited messages or advertising on social media, particularly Twitter. These messages are normally designed to sell specific products and services or links. In this research, we developed a fuzzy control system to detect Arabic spam tweets based on deep learning with a large language model. Initially, we performed text cleaning and further transformed text into vectors with the help of AraGpt and AraBert. Subsequently, we employed a multi-layer perceptron network model in feature extraction of essential features. Finally, we adopted the fuzzy logic control system for classifying spam tweets using features filtered from deep networks. Employing the proposed Fuzzy logic control system provided nearly a 100% comparative to only utilizing the deep neural networks, which yielded an almost 99% throughput for both large language models Aragpt and Arabert, with a 100% F1 score for the Aragpt model and 99% for Arabert model respectively.

The purpose of this study is to examine the scientific construction of Ilmu Balaghoh or Arabic rhetoric using the philosophy of science approach. Ilmu Balaghoh is a crucial discipline in Islamic scholarship that explores the beauty, meaning, and power of language, particularly concerning the articulation of the beauty and meaning of Qur'anic texts. The philosophy of Ilmu Balaghoh provides a new perspective on its ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions. This research employs a qualitative method through literature analysis, utilizing both primary and secondary sources, including references on Balaghoh and the philosophy of science. The findings reveal that Balaghoh is not merely about language but possesses philosophical absorption as an approach to constructing sentences that convey meaning and messages aesthetically. The ontology of Ilmu Balaghoh pertains to the essence of language as a medium of divine and human communication, while its epistemology lies in analogical and deductive methods to generate knowledge. The axiology of Balaghoh focuses on the development of communication ethics and rhetoric in Islamic studies. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that Ilmu Balaghoh is a complex and integral discipline that enriches the study of language and values in Islam. This study is expected to serve as a foundational framework for the development of Ilmu Balaghoh in the context of contemporary and interdisciplinary studies.

This article examines various aspects related to khamar, including its linguistic meaning, definitions, impacts, and the Islamic legal perspective on it. In Arabic, khamar means something that conceals or covers, referring to intoxicating beverages that impair rational thinking. Scholars provide various definitions of khamar, encompassing intoxicants derived from fermented grapes and other substances. From an Islamic perspective, khamar is considered to have more harmful effects than benefits, affecting social, economic, and health aspects. Although the trade of khamar may provide worldly profits, it is deemed contrary to Islamic teachings due to its potential to promote immorality and corrupt morals. The impact of khamar consumption on minors is particularly damaging, affecting their physical and mental health as well as causing broader social repercussions. Islamic legal sanctions against the consumption of khamar emphasize strict prohibition to prevent its use, although specific worldly punishments are not elaborated upon. This study highlights that despite the financial advantages it might offer, the negative consequences of khamar far outweigh its benefits and should therefore be avoided for the well-being of society.
