This study aimed to evaluate the effect of murrotal therapy on pain and anxiety levels in patients after radiofrequency action. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest involving 50 post-radiofrequency patients at Sultan Agung Hospital Semarang. The research data were collected using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) instrument to assess pain levels and the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) to assess anxiety levels. Univariate analysis showed that most of the respondents were women with an average age of 44.04 years, included in the intermediate adult category. The results of bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed a significant decrease in both pain and anxiety levels after being given murrative therapy, with a p-value of 0.000 for both variables. This shows that murrotal therapy is effective in providing psychological relaxation and spiritual distraction effects, so that it can reduce the intensity of pain while reducing anxiety in patients. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that murrotal therapy is a non-pharmacological intervention that is simple, safe, and easy to apply by health workers. It also has great potential as a complementary therapy that supports the management of pain and anxiety after medical procedures, especially invasive procedures such as radiofrequency. Thus, the application of murrotal therapy can be used as an additional alternative in improving the quality of nursing services in hospitals.

Patients who are admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) often require mechanical ventilation due to respiratory failure. One of the common problems that arises in patients with mechanical ventilation is the buildup of sputum, which can interfere with the ventilation process as well as lower the tidal volume. To overcome this, a combination of clapping and suction interventions are used as a therapeutic method with the aim of helping to clear the airways and improve ventilation function. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of clapping and suction on tidal volume in patients with respiratory failure using mechanical ventilation. The research design used a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest approach on 43 respondents in the ICU room. Interventions in the form of clapping and suction are given in a structured manner according to standard nursing procedures. The results showed that the majority of respondents were female (53.5%), with the most medical diagnosis being SNH (23.3%). Most of the respondents were in the late adult age category (32.6%) and used PCV ventilation mode (51.2%). Before the intervention, most respondents had a low tidal volume (72.1%), while after the intervention the majority had an increase to the normal category (90.7%). The Wilcoxon test showed a value of p = 0.001, which means that there is a significant effect of the combination of clapping and suction on the increase in tidal volume. Thus, it can be concluded that the combination of clapping and suction is an effective intervention in increasing tidal volume in patients with respiratory failure with mechanical ventilation at the ICU of RSI Sultan Agung Semarang.

Ekas Bay has very rich fishing potential, especially for the red snapper species (Lutjanus spp.). This study aims to determine the effect of mesh size of gill nets on catch and determine the mesh size that is more effective for catching Red Snapper (Lutjanus spp.) measures above 300 grams in the waters of Ekas Bay, East Lombok. This research was carried out in the waters of Ekas Bay, East Lombok from June to August 2025. This research method uses an experimental method that distinguishes three treatments with nine replications, using a Group Random Design (RAK). The data collection techniques in this study are observation, active participation, and interviews. Then analyzed using multiple fingerprint analysis (ANOVA). If the effect is real or very real, the effect can be seen by using the smallest real difference test (BNT), after that the BNT value is compared to the average value of the treatment. The results of the study showed that the use of different mesh sizes had a very real effect on the catch of red snapper. The 4-inch mesh proved to be the most effective with 65% of the fish caught being ≥300 grams in size, while the 3-inch mesh was 30% and the 2-inch mesh was only 5%. Thus, the use of larger mesh can increase selectivity for adult fish while reducing juvenile catches.

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable disease that is currently a major public health problem in Indonesia. The prevalence of DM continues to increase from year to year, not only in urban areas but also increasingly found in rural areas. One factor contributing to the high number of DM cases is a lack of public awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle, as well as the continued presence of many undiagnosed cases, resulting in delayed treatment. Therefore, early detection efforts and health education that can reach the community at the community level are needed. This community service program was designed to conduct random blood sugar screenings while increasing the knowledge of residents of RW 15 Kalibaru regarding the prevention and control of DM. The activity was carried out on August 24, 2025, involving 21 participants, most of whom were from adults to the elderly. The activity method consisted of two main stages: checking blood sugar levels using a glucometer and a health education session on a healthy lifestyle, a balanced diet, and the importance of regular physical activity. The results of the activity showed that the indicators of success were well achieved. This was indicated by the orderly implementation of the examinations, a high level of participation from residents, and increased awareness of the dangers of DM among participants. From the examination results, most participants had normal blood sugar levels, but several people were found with blood sugar levels above the normal limit who required medical follow-up.

Health problems in older adults, particularly oral function disorders, often lead to serious complications such as chewing difficulties, which disrupt adequate nutritional intake and may trigger broader health issues including malnutrition, aspiration pneumonia, and a decline in overall quality of life. One intervention that has been introduced to address these challenges is the PATAKARA exercise, a simple oral rehabilitation technique designed to strengthen oral and facial muscles. This study aimed to analyze the effect of PATAKARA exercise on the oral function of older adults at Roujin Home Seseragi No Sato Zao, Japan. The research employed a quasi-experimental approach with a One Group Pretest-Post Test Design. The study population consisted of 75 older adults, with 40 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14) questionnaire and analyzed with the Wilcoxon test. Findings showed that most participants were in the advanced elderly category (≥80 years), predominantly female, and had a secondary education background. Prior to the intervention, the majority exhibited moderate oral function, while after the exercise, most participants demonstrated improved oral function categorized as good. Statistical analysis revealed a significant effect of the PATAKARA exercise on oral function (p = 0.000). The results suggest that PATAKARA exercise effectively enhances oral muscle strength, including the lips, tongue, pharynx, and larynx, thereby improving chewing, swallowing, and speech functions. This exercise can be recommended as a practical, non-invasive, and low-cost intervention to support oral health and overall well-being among older adults.

Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) is a bleeding disorder characterized by a low platelet count (<100,000/µL) caused by decreased platelet production or opsonization by antibodies, leading to platelet destruction by the reticuloendothelial system. ITP is one of the most common etiologies of bleeding disorders, especially in children. The prevalence of ITP in children is estimated to be around 1.9 to 6.4 cases per 100,000 children annually, while in adults, the prevalence is lower, at about 3.3 cases per 100,000 people per year. In the United States, the incidence of ITP is reported to be around 1.6 per 10,000 people annually. Clinical manifestations of ITP include petechiae, purpura, and/or ecchymosis, which are usually found on the upper and lower extremities. Mucocutaneous bleeding symptoms such as epistaxis and gum bleeding are also common in patients. These symptoms can vary depending on the severity of thrombocytopenia and individual responses to the condition. Diagnosis of ITP is made through a thorough medical history, physical examination, and rapid supportive tests to confirm the diagnosis and differentiate ITP from other conditions with similar symptoms. Proper and timely management is crucial to prevent further complications, including more severe bleeding or organ damage. With effective management, the quality of life of patients can be improved, and the risks associated with ITP can be minimized. Therefore, early detection and optimal management are key in addressing ITP, particularly in children who are more vulnerable to this bleeding disorder.

Molluscum contagiosum (MC) is a skin infection caused by the Molluscipox virus and is common in children and adults with active sexual activity. The disease is characterized by the appearance of small, smooth, papule-shaped lesions that have a hollow in the center (umbiliation). MC transmission takes place through direct contact with contaminated lesions or objects, such as towels and clothing, so the spread is quite wide globally. The diagnosis is established through an anamnesis, clinical examination, and physical evaluation. MC therapy is generally supportive, but in certain cases medical measures such as excision and curettage are required to remove the lesion effectively. The use of topical creams containing Fusidic acid, such as Fucilex cream, is often recommended to prevent secondary infections and speed up the postoperative healing process. Proper and prompt treatment is essential to prevent further complications and speed up the patient's recovery. MC has a psychosocial impact, especially on children, so education to parents and health workers is an important part of the treatment strategy. Prevention can be done through increased personal hygiene and avoidance of contact with contaminated objects. The study emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach in diagnosis, therapy, and education to reduce the prevalence of MC and its impact on public health.

This study discusses God’s prohibition of adultery as stated in Malachi 2:14–16 and its relevance to contemporary Christian families. Adultery is regarded as a betrayal that not only damages the marital relationship but also violates the sacred covenant with God. The study highlights that an ideal Christian family is one founded on God’s Word, upholding love, faithfulness, and a life of reverence to God. However, in reality, many families face challenges such as individualistic lifestyles, the negative impact of social media, poor communication, and declining spiritual values. Real-life cases, including infidelity leading to violence, reveal the urgency of applying biblical principles to build strong families. Thus, Malachi 2:14–16 serves as a theological foundation affirming the importance of faithfulness and love in preserving the integrity of Christian marriage. Furthermore, poor communication, a lack of mutual understanding, and declining spiritual engagement can strain relationships, making it more difficult to maintain a strong, healthy marriage. These challenges highlight the critical need for Christian families to return to the foundational principles outlined in God’s Word, including the importance of sacrificial love, trust, and mutual respect. The study draws attention to the practical implications of these teachings, urging families to actively engage in spiritual practices, open communication, and mutual support to overcome the pressures of modern life. By doing so, they can create environments where love and faithfulness flourish, ensuring that their relationships remain strong and rooted in the divine covenant established by God. Thus, Malachi 2:14-16 remains highly relevant today as a timeless reminder of the sacred nature of marriage and the importance of nurturing healthy, God-centered relationships in Christian families.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels due to impaired insulin secretion or function. The prevalence of diabetes continues to increase in Indonesia, particularly among adults and the elderly, requiring comprehensive and sustainable management. Diabetes management is not limited to pharmacological therapy but also includes non-pharmacological approaches such as dietary management, physical activity, and health education. One form of physical activity recommended for diabetes sufferers is diabetes exercise. This study aims to determine the effect of diabetes exercise on reducing blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus patients enrolled in the Chronic Disease Management Program (Prolanis) at the Gunungpati Community Health Center (Puskesmas). The study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. A total of 30 respondents were randomly selected from the Prolanis patient population, and blood glucose levels were measured before and after the diabetes exercise intervention. The intervention was carried out routinely and structured over a certain period. The analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test showed a statistically significant decrease in blood glucose levels after diabetes exercise, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The average blood glucose level decreased from 260.27 mg/dL to 211.33 mg/dL. This study concluded that diabetes exercise is effective as a non-pharmacological intervention in helping control blood glucose levels. Therefore, routine implementation of diabetes exercise in primary healthcare facilities needs to be promoted as a simple, effective, and affordable promotive and preventive strategy.

Before entering marriage, a person will generally choose a partner who meets their criteria. Choosing a partner is not something to be done carelessly, as this decision has a significant impact on the journey of the household and the harmony of the relationship in the future. Factors influencing partner selection can be very diverse, ranging from personal values, social environment, to the influence of developments in the times and mass media. One popular cultural phenomenon that also influences is K-Pop. For some people, a deep interest in K-Pop idols or artists can form certain standards or criteria in choosing a life partner. This study aims to determine the influence of idol worship on partner selection preferences among early adult female K-Popers in West Sumatra. The study subjects were 120 people selected using a snowball sampling technique. The study used a quantitative method, with instruments in the form of an idol worship scale and a partner selection preference scale compiled by researchers based on the dimensions of idol worship by Cheung and Yue (2018) and aspects of partner selection preferences by Townsend and Roberts (1993). The results of a simple linear regression analysis indicate that, in general, idol worship has no significant effect on partner choice preferences (sig = 0.405 > 0.05). However, when examined by dimension, attachment (sig = 0.002 < 0.05) and idealization (sig = 0.001 < 0.05) significantly influence partner choice preferences. This finding indicates that emotional aspects and idealization of idols can shape the criteria or ideal image of a desired partner, although idol worship does not have a direct effect overall.

Adolescence is the stage where a child's puberty occurs before reaching adulthood, this is a process that every child must go through between the ages of 12 and 18. At this stage, children who are growing up generally experience several changes both physically, emotionally, and emotionally, becoming more sensitive to circumstances and desires or high curiosity about their environment. In conditions like this, the role of several parties and knowledge is very necessary to control and supervise without having to restrain so as to hinder the development of the teenager, these parties include parents, family, teachers, and the community. Based on this, it is felt necessary to carry out socialization and a direct approach to convey the importance of knowledge or science to fortify adolescent behavior so that a situation that exceeds the limit does not occur such as promiscuity, free sex and other negative influences that must be directly conveyed to the teenager. From this service, a report was made as a form of steps that have been taken as an effort to protect the generation with knowledge in the digital era for the future. In addition, in facing the increasingly rapidly developing digital era, teenagers are very vulnerable to the influence of social media and the flow of information that is so fast and unlimited. Easy access to various digital platforms can have positive impacts if used wisely, but it also has the potential to lead teens to negative content if not properly supported. Therefore, digital literacy is a crucial skill for teens to master, enabling them to select information, convey critical messages, and use technology responsibly.

Animation has transcended its traditional association with children’s entertainment and emerged as a dynamic global medium that resonates with audiences across age groups. Beyond its role as a form of visual amusement, animation demonstrates significant potential in conveying meaningful narratives and creating emotional engagement through carefully crafted aesthetic experiences. A central element in the animation process is character design, where the combination of shape, color, and expression not only determines visual appeal but also functions as a medium for reflecting personality and emotional depth. This study aims to investigate the relationship between personal interests and personality traits in shaping visual preferences toward animation illustrations among children and adults. Through a literature review, the research highlights how individual interests—deeply influenced by developmental needs, social environment, and past experiences—play a crucial role in guiding aesthetic choices. Findings suggest that children are typically drawn to characters with simplified forms, bright and saturated colors, and exaggerated expressions that facilitate recognition, comprehension, and emotional connection. Conversely, adults tend to prefer more complex designs, incorporating nuanced emotional cues, realistic proportions, and layered symbolism that align with mature cognitive and emotional processing. The comparison underscores the importance of audience segmentation in animation design, particularly in creating characters that are not only visually engaging but also resonate with psychological and emotional expectations. By recognizing and addressing the distinct preferences of different age groups, animators and illustrators can develop content that is more contextually relevant, immersive, and capable of fostering long-term audience attachment. Ultimately, this study emphasizes that effective animation character design extends beyond technical artistry; it requires a deep understanding of human psychology, cultural influences, and the evolving nature of visual engagement across the lifespan.

This study aimed to determine the relationship between parental social support and career exploration with career decision-making among unemployed young adults. Early adulthood, particularly between the ages of 18 and 25, is a crucial developmental period as individuals are required to become independent, build their identity, and determine their career direction. During this phase, many individuals face challenges such as career uncertainty and unemployment, making parental social support and career exploration skills important factors that can influence the quality of career decision-making. The subjects were job seekers aged 18 and 25, categorized as young adults. The sampling technique used probability sampling. The research instrument consisted of three scales: the career decision-making scale (29 items; α = 0.903), the parental social support scale (15 items; α = 0.893), and the career exploration scale (13 items; α = 0.921). Data analysis was performed using the Pearson correlation test to test the hypothesis, and reliability was measured using the Spearman-Brown method. The results of this study indicate a significant positive relationship between parental social support and career exploration with career decision-making among unemployed young adults. This finding indicates that the higher the social support provided by parents and the more active individuals are in exploring their career options, the better their ability to make appropriate career decisions. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of parental involvement in supporting children during the transition to the workforce and emphasize the need for intervention programs that systematically encourage career exploration among unemployed young adults. This is expected to enable individuals to develop more mature career decision-making capacities and thus be able to face the challenges of job uncertainty in the modern era.

The government’s efforts to provide protection for trademark rights holders have been implemented by enacting and updating laws on trademarks. However, in reality, crimes against trademark rights continue to occur, including in the jurisdiction of the Tanjung Karang District Court. This research addresses the following issues: What are the judges' considerations in cases of unauthorized use of registered trademarks, and how is the criminal analysis of such offenses reflected in Decision Number: 381/Pid.Sus/2023/PN.Tjk? This study uses normative and empirical legal research methods, with statutory and conceptual approaches. The data type used is secondary data obtained through literature study. Data processing involved selection, classification, and organization. The data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method. The findings of this research indicate that the judge's legal basis in sentencing the defendant for the unauthorized use of a registered trademark in Decision Number: 381/Pid.Sus/2023/PN.Tjk includes juridical considerations—specifically that the defendant was legally and convincingly proven to have committed a criminal offense as regulated under Article 100 paragraph (1) of Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications. Philosophically, the judge considered the imposed sentence as a means of rehabilitation and deterrence. Sociologically, the judge weighed both aggravating and mitigating factors in the sentencing. Criminal liability for the offender was based on the fulfillment of criminal responsibility elements, namely that the defendant was an adult and legally capable of committing the act. The element of fault was fulfilled, as the defendant knowingly and intentionally used a registered trademark without authorization, fully aware that such an act constitutes a criminal offense. The element of the absence of justification or excuse was also met, as the defendant committed the offense in a conscious and sound state of mind, without coercion.

Personal financial management is an essential skill that needs to be instilled from adolescence to foster healthy and responsible financial behavior. Teenagers are often faced with situations where they must make decisions regarding money, but a lack of understanding and education about finances often leads to consumptive behavior, wastefulness, and a lack of ability to save. However, poor financial habits developed early on can carry over into adulthood and impact a person's future financial situation. Through a Community Service activity conducted by lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Wijaya Kusuma University, Surabaya (FEB UWKS) at SMA Negeri 2 Mojokerto, students were provided with education on accounting-based personal financial management. The material presented covered basic accounting principles, the importance of recording income and expenses, and how to prepare a personal financial budget. The activity methods included counseling, financial recording simulations, budget preparation, and interactive discussions, designed to encourage active participation and practical understanding. The results of the activity showed that students experienced a significant increase in understanding of the importance of financial literacy. They were also able to prepare a simple budget based on needs and priorities using a basic accounting approach. Thus, this activity is expected to make a real contribution to shaping the character, responsibility, and financial independence of the younger generation. Furthermore, similar activities can be extended to other schools to raise financial literacy awareness among students more broadly and sustainably. Furthermore, the involvement of teachers and school administrators in supporting this financial literacy program is also a crucial factor in maintaining students' desire to understand. With synergy between academics, schools, and students, financial education can become an integral part of the learning process, focusing not only on theory but also on practical application in everyday life.
