Using a mixed-method approach, This study examines emotional support for Quranic memorization students (santri tahfidz) in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Quantitative analysis of 515 santri tahfidz revealed high levels of emotional support (M = 3.74, SD = 0.68) with two primary dimensions: reliable relationships (74.96%) and trusted guidance (75.17%). Multiple regression analysis uncovered a significant relationship between emotional support and Quranic memorization achievement (β = 0.42, p < .001, R² = 0.18). A meta-analysis of 28 studies (N = 3,627) confirmed a positive correlation between emotional support and students' psychological well-being (r = 0.39, 95% CI [0.34, 0.44]). MANOVA results indicated significant differences in santri tahfidz's perceptions of emotional support based on gender (Wilks' λ = .97, F(2, 512) = 7.85, p < .001, partial η² = .03) and age (Wilks' λ = .95, F(4, 1022) = 6.73, p < .001, partial η² = .03). These findings extend previous research by Hasfi (2018) and Vista (2018) by identifying the specific roles of teacher support (β = 0.31, p < .01) and peer support (β = 0.28, p < .01) in enhancing student resilience. Furthermore, this study contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of emotional support dynamics in pesantren tahfidz education, integrating Bronfenbrenner's (1979) ecological perspective and Deci and Ryan's (2000) self-determination theory. Finally in a practical context, the researcher evaluates this study has implications for the development of more structured and efficient emotional support intervention programs in tahfidz pesantren.

In a region strongly influenced by patriarchal culture, women's roles in politics are often constrained by traditional social views and resistance to their involvement in a male-dominated political arena. The complexity of this issue is heightened by the perception that politics is a harsh and competitive domain. The aim of this research is to understand the communication strategies used by female politicians in Maluku and to identify the factors that influence their success or failure in the political field. Additionally, social networks and support from women's groups and political organizations play crucial roles in their political communication strategies. Women's roles in Maluku politics are not limited to verbal and non-verbal communication but also include their ability to integrate local values and utilize their central societal roles to promote political agendas. These findings provide a significant contribution to the study of women's political communication, particularly in contexts that have been underexplored in both national and international literature. This study aims to analyze the optimal design of whistleblowing programs, focusing on the effects of incentives and the dynamics of whistleblower engagement. Through a qualitative literature review, the research explores the impact of financial incentives on the effectiveness of whistleblowing programs and how factors such as organizational culture and management support influence whistleblowers' decisions. The findings show that while financial incentives are effective in encouraging reporting, excessive incentives can reduce the quality of the information provided. On the other hand, factors such as anonymity and protections for whistleblowers significantly increase their engagement. This study highlights the importance of a holistic approach that combines financial and non-financial incentives with strong protections for whistleblowers to ensure program effectiveness. Furthermore, policy implications suggest the need for continuous evaluation of whistleblowing programs to ensure they remain relevant and effective in detecting violations across different sectors. Although this study provides valuable insights, several limitations, including its focus on literature sourced from the United States and the absence of empirical data, affect the generalization of the findings. Therefore, further research is necessary to test these findings in various organizational contexts and environments.

Using a quantitative approach, this study investigates the effect of port export and import volumes on economic growth in North Sumatra and West Sumatra Provinces. Time series data from the World Bank and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) from 2006 to 2023 are used as secondary data. The analysis uses the ARDL Panel model, which allows for analysis of data dynamics across time and regions. The results show that the three main indicators that affect economic growth (GRDP) in both provinces, both in the short and long term, are export volume, inflation, and exchange rates. In North Sumatra, export volume has a positive impact on GRDP, while import volume has a negative impact, indicating a risk of dependence on imports. Controlled inflation also has a positive impact, while the exchange rate shows a diversion. Policy recommendations are expected to improve global competitiveness and exchange rate stability through coordination of fiscal and monetary policies, support for the Export Capacity Building Program and MSMEs through the Regional Comprehensive Economic Framework (RCEP), and export diversification to reduce dependence on certain commodities. This study emphasizes that policies that are responsive to changes in trade at the national to international levels are an important foundation for stabilizing sustainable economic growth.

This article examines the dynamics of trade in floating markets, focusing on how changes in maritime activities can affect traditional trade structures and patterns. Modernization of sea transportation and competition from land-based markets have successfully affected the competitiveness of waterborne traders. Therefore, the article also discusses the challenges faced by traders, such as limited access to suitable maritime infrastructure and changing consumer preferences. The research suggests that while floating markets continue to play an important role in the local economy, pressures from globalization and changes in maritime governance may threaten their sustainability.
