The large amount of used cooking oil that is thrown into the environment by the community is an urgency that must be addressed. Therefore, it is necessary to handle it efficiently so that it can be used as a product and has economic selling value. Based on the existing urgency as an effort to reduce the impact of environmental pollution, this service was held with the aim of utilizing used cooking oil into solid soap through a saponification process with the help of a strong base such as Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH). The method used was a demonstration of making solid soap which was witnessed by residents of Karang Tunggal village. Apart from preventing the impact of environmental pollution, used cooking oil that is used repeatedly can also harm health, so this service activity is expected to solve this problem and increase public awareness and skills regarding the procedures for processing used cooking oil into solid soap. The results of service activities are training in soap making and distribution of solid soap to the community. It is hoped that service activities can increase understanding and skills in waste management to become more useful and have economic value.

The rapid evolution of digital technology has significantly impacted various sports, including niche ones like petanque. This study explores the perceived benefits and barriers of using an Android-based application for scoring and statistics management in petanque, a sport gaining popularity in Indonesia. Traditionally, performance assessment in petanque relied on manual, paper-based methods, prone to inaccuracies and inefficiencies. An Android app, Petanque Match Statistics, was developed to address these challenges, offering real-time data accuracy, improved workflow, and enhanced performance analysis. This study employed a quantitative approach, surveying 50 participants (35 players and 15 coaches) in Surabaya, Indonesia, to assess their impressions of the app's usability, accuracy, efficiency, and overall satisfaction. Results indicated high ratings across all parameters, with no significant differences between players and coaches. The app was commended for its intuitive design, reliability, and time-saving efficiency. Findings highlight the potential of digital solutions to modernise petanque match administration, enhance strategic decision-making, and improve the user experience. The study underscores the importance of user-centred design in facilitating the adoption of digital advancements in sports, offering valuable insights for future developments in petanque and other emerging sports.

The declaration by President Muhammadu Buhari that he is willing to reduce the rising expenses of managing public affairs is a major surprise. Newspapers everywhere have stated that he will face the confront the problem head-on by reforming numerous government agencies, merging others, and dismantling others. We are still figuring out the specifics. The only information that has been made public thus far is that the plan's first casualties will be the Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination, the National Examinations Council, and the National Poverty Eradication Programme. It is evident from the announced strategy that the president and his officials either do not understand the seriousness of the issue or are once again manipulating a terrible sickness that is plaguing the nation. In what way would eliminating NECO and instructing WAEC to take on the personnel reduce costs? Or how would renaming NAPP contribute to improving governance value? How does he make sure that each and every Kobo that goes into counted national treasuries? What steps is he taking to guarantee that public policy is geared toward reducing people's suffering? The cost of governance during Jonathan's administration is examined in this study. It examines the cost of government from a thematic perspective, emphasizing its main points with specific examples. According to the paper's conclusion, the so-called clause of "senior ministers and junior or ministers of state" has led to the current unhealthy rivalry and widespread bitterness, but it has also resulted in needless waste of public funds in the payment of entitlements due to over-bloated administrative costs.

Science and technology became something that developed very rapidly in the classical period and Islamic civilization. And this proves that epistemology developed at that time. Even though in the past Muslim scholars studied a lot in the field of Islamic civilization, with their epistemology they were able to provide the best in the field of science and technology and develop it to all corners of the world. Technology is a source of information today. It is necessary to know that the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad contain many Hadiths about Science and Technology. What is contained in the hadith is mentioned implicitly in the rules of explanation of creed and faith. That is why, hadith will always coexist with the development of the times and there will be no conflict between the two forever. The "Hadith-Hadith Science" application is research that uses the R&D (Research and Development) method and in its development uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development and Evaluation) method.  Then this application was developed via the Kodular.Io website which can be accessed on Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Google. This application contains 40 selected hadith themes about Science in hadith. By developing the "Scientific Hadiths" application, researchers hope that this application can be useful for users.

Phytochemistry is a method used to determine the compounds found in plant essence. Phytochemical identification is carried out using chemical substances used in a reaction to determine the collection of secondary metabolite compounds. Indonesia is a country that has various types of medicinal plants, one of which is the leaves of Katang-katang (Ipomoea pes-caprae). Katang-katang is a tropical vine that is easy to find and belongs to the Convolvulaceae family. The utilization of this medicinal plant is one of the alternatives in an effort to treat a disease.  Along the road in the sandy beach area, many of these plants are found growing creeping on the edge of the shoreline, this plant has a trumpet-like flower and is known as Katang-katang (Ipomoea pes-caprae). (Ipomoea pescaprae L.). Empirically, people often use katang-katang plants to treat infections in wounds, relieve pain, and as antioxidants. The active compounds of katang-katang as antibacterial are terpenoids, steroids, saponins, tannins and flavonoids. Based on the 2016-2020 Central Java Disaster Risk Assessment, floods and landslides are the most frequent disasters, with 818 flood cases accounting for 31.33% of the total disasters and landslides accounting for 29.57%. This study aims to cluster disaster-prone areas in Central Java using the K-Means algorithm and the GeoPandas library. Data on disaster events for the period 2019-2023 was obtained from the National Disaster Management Agency, while administrative map data of Central Java was downloaded from the Geoportal of Central Java Province. The research stages include data collection, data cleaning, standardization using the Standard Scaler method, application of the K-Means algorithm for regional clustering, and visualization of results using GeoPandas. The results showed that Central Java was divided into four clusters, namely: cluster 0 (disaster-prone areas) includes 3 regions, cluster 1 (non-disaster-prone areas) has 22 regions, cluster 2 (flood-prone areas) consists of 7 regions, and cluster 3 (landslide-prone areas) has 3 regions. The results of this research provide spatial data-based information that can be used as a basis in decision-making for disaster mitigation in Central Java.
