Adolescence is a crucial developmental phase often marked by a lack of responsibility, which can lead to negative behaviors such as juvenile delinquency and promiscuity. Therefore, developing a responsible character in adolescents is essential to guide them toward positive behavior. One effective approach is through life skills education implemented in the local village (gampong) environment. This community service initiative aims to instill a sense of responsibility in adolescents by involving them in the planting and maintenance of family medicinal plants (TOGA). Through this activity, adolescents are expected to develop care, discipline, and responsibility, which are reflected in their commitment to nurturing the plants. The activity was implemented in Gampong Cot Alue, Ingin Jaya District, Aceh Besar, and carried out over two days, from February 14 to 15, 2025. The method used in the planning and execution of the TOGA planting involved five stages: (1) creating an activity plan, (2) preparing tools and materials, (3) preparing the planting area, (4) plant nurseries, and (5) creating plant identification markers. These stages were designed to introduce a structured approach to life skills and community engagement. The outcomes of the program demonstrated an increase in adolescents' awareness and understanding of the importance of TOGA. Additionally, there was a noticeable improvement in their sense of responsibility and participation in daily activities beyond school. The broader community, particularly the youth, gained valuable knowledge about the benefits of TOGA for disease prevention, treatment, and health maintenance, contributing to a healthier and more proactive lifestyle within the village environment.

The irfani approach in the study of Islamic law is a method that integrates spiritual experience, intuition, and moral values in understanding and applying legal principles. This research aims to explore the relevance, implications, and challenges of the irfani approach within the context of Islamic law in Indonesia. By employing normative juridical analysis and literature study, this study finds that the irfani approach enriches the understanding of Islamic law by linking it to contemporary issues, such as social justice, environmental protection, and human rights. This perspective encourages a more holistic and ethical interpretation of legal principles, moving beyond rigid textual analysis. Furthermore, this research highlights the potential harmonization between Islamic law and customary law (adat law) in Indonesia. This integration can create a more inclusive, culturally adaptive, and community-responsive legal system, which aligns with Indonesia's pluralistic legal landscape. However, challenges remain in the widespread acceptance and implementation of the irfani approach. Resistance often arises from scholars and institutions that prefer conventional, textual, and rationalistic approaches to Islamic law, perceiving the irfani method as subjective or lacking legal rigor.Despite these challenges, strengthening education, scholarly dialogue, and interdisciplinary engagement between Islamic law scholars, legal practitioners, and policymakers can foster a greater appreciation for the ethical and spiritual dimensions of Islamic law. By incorporating mystical insights and moral considerations, the irfani approach has significant potential to contribute to the evolution of Islamic law in Indonesia, ensuring its relevance, inclusivity, and adaptability in addressing the complex challenges of modern society.

In recent years, the judiciary has faced harsh criticism for its tardiness in resolving electoral cases in a free and equitable way. Here, a Marxist theoretical approach is used to identify the issue contemplated. Every society's government should ideally endeavor to create a peaceful and habitable environment by enacting laws that safeguard the interests of its residents and those who live nearby. Since the judiciary, an arm of a democratic government, like the one in Nigeria, is tasked with upholding the law, it becomes quite concerning when this branch of the government is beset by charges and convictions of corruption.  It was suggested that corrupt judges who commit crimes should face a variety of penalties and sanctions, including the death penalty, termination from their position, and public humiliation by being imprisoned for a period of time. Supporting politicians who buy off judges to see through, they ought to be tried and found guilty of bribing public officials. Additionally, they ought to be disqualified from any political office they are running for, since this will lessen judicial corruption, which impedes the development of Nigerian democracy. This report examines Nigeria's problems with corruption. It uses case studies of two nations with comparable issues and histories to provide a comparative perspective. Some of the suggested methods for an efficient performance of oversight functions include evolving reforms, guiding media and civil society engagement, and involving citizens.
