This research is mainly intended to reveal the old southern pride reflected in the characteristics of Amanda, a southern lady. In conducting this research, the writer uses qualitative research, in which the data are collected in the form of words and the writer is the key instrument. The data were taken from the work itself and other relevant books supporting the data. In analyzing the data, the writer uses a mimetic approach, which considers that literary work is a reflection and imitation of aspects of the universe. The result of this research shows that in the southern part of America before the Civil War, there was a custom called "southern gentility." This is one of the aristocratic values that consists of the manner of speech, the way of wearing the clothes, and the manner of treating the caller: the way to welcome and praise the gentleman caller, his wealth, and his beauty. This southern gentility represents old southern pride or honor. These values are reflected in Amanda’s attitude as an old southerner. However, a change in period is followed by a change in values; the aristocratic values mentioned above are no longer all relevant to the new South's way of life because they faded away after the Civil War in 1861-1865. Amanda, as an old southerner, has always held these values; however, realizing that they are no longer applicable in the present, she attempts to adapt the new southern values. Yet, she is too late to adjust because her son, who possesses new southern values, refuses to accept her advice, so he runs away.

The research focused on the quality of whatsapp-based online services in population administration services in kupang city. The purpose of this study is to explain the implementation and quality model of whatsapp-based online services in population administration services. The theory used is the theory of online service quality proposed by parasurahman with the variables of efficiency, fullfilment, system availability, privacy. The research design used qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results showed that the implementation of quality whatsapp-based online services was seen from service efficiency, ease of access and a simple mechanism; fullfilment, a fast and free service period; system availability, the internet network support; and privacy, the end-to-end encrypted whatsapp. The obstacle is there are no regulations, infrastructure facilities are still limited, just using one smartphone for one service where the smartphone capacity is limited for document transactions. Then there is still a lack of government socialization. Therefore, the model that needs to be carried out by the population and civil registry office of kupang city is to make a regulation for the mayor of kupang. It is necessary for the government to be responsible for providing computers for whatsapp online, and conducting wider socialization to the public.

Internet and social media users in Indonesia, online E-Commerce businesses are increasingly growing. E-Commerce is business activities involving consumers, manufacturers, service providers and intermediaries using computer networks, namely the internet. E-Commerce users are also of various ages, because there are many conveniences when shopping online, just open the desired E-Commerce application, choose the items you buy and the goods arrive as desired within a few days. The increasing number of online buying and selling has indirectly influenced changes in legal regulations. The rules that apply in Indonesia are still unclear regarding electronic buying and selling. This is due to the fact that the conditions necessary for the validity of an electronic agreement have not been specifically regulated. The aim of this research is to determine the validity of electronic contract agreements in E-Commerce transactions in terms of civil law. In this research, normative research methods were used. This method involves processing data from legal regulations and applying rules or norms as the basis for research. Research results Electronic documents are binding and recognized as valid evidence to provide legal certainty regarding the operation of electronic systems and electronic transactions, especially for proof and related to legal actions carried out through electronic systems

The inheritance law itself is part of the civil law and the smallest part of the family law. The customary law inheritance system includes 3 (three) patterns, namely patrilineal, matrilineal, and parental. One of the tribes that still applies customary inheritance law is the Talang Mamak Tribe. This research explores the application of the inheritance of the Talang Mamak Tribe in the customary inheritance system in Indonesia and its legal consequences in terms of aspects of Indonesian civil law. This research is of a normative juridical type using a statutory debate approach and a concept approach. The secondary data used comes from literature studies with analytical descriptive analytical methods. The result of the research obtained by Penilis is that most of the Talang Mamak people are known to have converted to Islam. The traditional inheritance of the Talang Mamak Tribe basically uses a matrilineal system, where the heirs are daughters. The role of Ninik amak and the daughter here is to be the ruler or controller of the inheritance and the custodian of all the brothers of the wife including the sons. According to Article 105 and Article 109 of the Civil Code, this is inversely proportional to the position of women who are classified as legally incompetent. The development of the era, which has experienced many changes from time to time, does not necessarily change the heritage that exists in the lives of people in Indonesia. The evolution of generation does not cause changes to the legacy system that exists in Indonesia. In the Civil Code, there are 3 principles that describe heirs who are entitled to and can obtain inheritance distribution according to the Civil Code inheritance system. The legacy of the heir can not only be in the form of valuable assets, but can also be tangible objects, intangible objects or just a testamentary message conveyed. In life in society, the division of inheritance creates conflict between families which causes the division of one family. In dealing with inheritance problems that will cause conflict between families, the government allows lawsuits related to this inheritance. The Civil Code regulates the principles governing heirs, namely the personal principle, the bilateral principle and the principle of equalization. In addition to regulating these 3 principles, the Civil Code also regulates the elements included in the law of inheritance, namely there are heirs, heirs and also inherited assets as assets that will be delegated by the heir to the heirs. Heirs are also classified into 4 groups, namely Group I, Group II, Group III, and group 4. In addition, the Civil Code also regulates the absolute share of assets in inheritance. For more than a year, the Covid-19 pandemic has hit, causing many changes and giving birth to new norms and practices in the social, political, and economic order, both at the individual, community, institutional, state governance, and relations between nations. One of those affected is the office sector, but agencies are required to optimize performance without neglecting the health protocols set by the government. This study aims to determine the effect of workload and digital competence on employee performance at the Batang Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Office. The population in this study were all employees of the State Civil Apparatus totaling 133 people. The sampling method is using a census. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and the analytical method used was multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that the workload has no significant positive effect on employee performance. The workload is an obligation that must be completed by employees following the specified time so that the level of workload does not affect employee performance. Digital competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This finding implies that employees within the Batang Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Office can operate digital devices.

This article discusses the civilian aspect in defamation cases which is intended to reform law enforcement against defamation cases. This article uses normative research methods and uses a legislative approach. Defamation is indeed an act that violates the law and certainly harms the person whose reputation is tarnished, but with this loss, it is seen that it is possible to resolve this issue can be resolved through a civil law approach with aspects of illegal acts. This is because the application of criminal sanctions is the ultimate medium, and also of course the essence is to look at the resolution of the problem. Reformulation of law enforcement policy in defamation cases leading to civil settlement is of course intended so that the aggrieved person also receives compensation from the perpetrator, and also the perpetrator is obliged to pay compensation, so as not to release the perpetrator of defamation for the act committed, but not in the presence of criminal sanctions law enforcement.

This study aimed to examine the influence of service quality, tax knowledge, tax sanctions, and taxpayer environment on taxpayer compliance at Regional Office of Pemalang District. The total population of  Civil Servantswas 9.962, the samples used in this study were 100 people. The analysis method used multiple linier regresion. According to classic assumtion test, it showed that the data valid and reliable. The result of t distribution showed service quality had t value 3,129 and more than t table (>1,985), therefore service quality had positive and significant influenceon taxpayer compliance. The result of t distribution showed tax knowledge had t value 2,891 and more than t table (>1,985), therefore tax knowledge had positive and significant influenceon taxpayer compliance. The result of t distribution showed tax sanctions had t value 2,731 and more than t table (>1,985), therefore tax sanctions had positive and significant influenceon taxpayer compliance. The result of t distribution showed taxpayer environment had t value -0,376 and less than t table (<1,985), therefore taxpayer environment didn’t influence taxpayer compliance.

Children are a gift from Allah SWT that should be grateful for, guarded, cared for, guided, educated and must also develop all their potential according to their nature. Education for children has got the most important place, because education is a very important factor in changing a civilization. This study aims to improve the role of parents in educating their children according to religious demands based on the Qur'an so that what is expected by parents can be applied to their children in living life. So this research is a library research. In this research will be explored about Early Childhood Education according to the Qur'an in the study of maudhu'i interpretation. Data were collected from various literatures, such as books, the Koran, interpretations and other research results are then processed into informative data. The results of this study indicate that the active role of parents in educating children is very much needed. Negligence of parents in educating children from an early age can result in unfavorable children's behavior in the future. Children's education according to the Qur'an shows how good children's behavior is, about what is the sense of responsibility for moral development in children, responsibility for attitudes towards children, responsibility for social development in children, responsibility for fostering prayer in children.

This research aims to examine the liquidity ratio at the Ao' Gading Civil Servant Cooperative PGRI Ranting Balusu in the North Toraja Regency. This research's data analysis technique is the analysis of the liquidity ratio, which consists of the current ratio and the cash ratio .In 2018, the current ratio was calculated to be 3.51 %; in 2019, it was calculated to be 3.41 %; and in 2020, it was calculated to be 3.31 %. In 2018, the cash ratio was calculated to be 0.71 %, while in 2019 and 2020, it was calculated to be 1.04 % and 1.20 %, respectively. According to the rules set forth by the State Minister for Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ao' Gading PGRI Ranting Balusu, North Toraja Regency, current ratio calculation findings indicate that it is not good, According to the decree of the State Minister for Cooperatives and UKM of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 06/M/KUKM/2006, dated May 1, 2006, and the outcomes of the cash ratio calculation at Ao' Gading PGRI Ranting Balusu, North Toraja Regency, they are classified as not good. According to the assessment requirements of the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and UKM, the liquidity of the Ao' Gading PGRI Ranting Balusu Civil Servant Cooperative  is rated as poor based on the study conducted with several liquidity ratio formulas, Number 06/M/KUKM/2006 does not mean that it is illiquid but the cooperative does not optimize its current assets because its cash is still too small compared to its receivables even though its current assets are greater than its current liabilities.

This study aims to determine the effect of partially significant career development on employee job satisfaction at the Department of Communication and Informatics Statistics Bima Regency, to determine the effect of partially significant work motivation on employee job satisfaction at the Department of Communication and Informatics Statistics Bima Regency, to determine the development of career and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Department of Communication and Informatics Statistics Bima Regency. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The population in this study was 61 employees consisting of 41 civil servants, 7 regional honorary employees, and 13 non-permanent employees at the Department of Communication and Information, Bima Regency. The sample in this study were 41 civil servants with the sampling technique used, namely the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. The data analysis technique uses validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression test, classical assumption test, multiple correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination, t test and f test with the help of SPSS version 22 for windows. The results showed that career development had no significant effect on employee job satisfaction, work motivation had a significant effect on employee job satisfaction, career development and work motivation had a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Department of Communication and Informatics Statistics Bima Regency.  

Pamaris Village is located in the highlands of Gunungtua Village, Cijambe District, Subang Regency. The existence of this area which is located in the highlands makes it difficult for the community to get clean water for their daily needs. Has a river flow that is used for agricultural and fishery water but is not utilized for clean water needs because the community doubts the quality of river water to be used as a source of clean water. With the background of the problems in Pamaris village, the lecturers and students of the Civil Engineering study program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Subang took the initiative to do community service by making a simple water treatment tool to treat river water so that it can be used to meet the community's clean water needs. The planned water treatment system consists of a coagulation tank, a sedimentation tank, a slow sand filter and a fast sand filter. The filter material consists of coral, palm fiber, zeolite, split stone, palm fiber, activated carbon and sand. The results of testing the treated water showed that all parameters of Physics, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry were still within the limits of clean water quality standards. The results of bacteriological examination did not find bacteria. Thus, in general, water quality can be used as a source of clean water for the community.

The new paradigm for the settlement of juvenile crimes in Law no. 11 of  2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System includes several provisions in the process of resolving child crimes. There are a number of new things in the Law on the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, namely the philosophy of the juvenile criminal justice system, the scope of children, the age of criminal responsibility for children, the elimination of categories of criminal children, state children and civilian children, changes in designations, restorative justice approaches, process obligations diversion at every level of examination, affirmation of children's rights in the judicial process, restrictions on efforts to deprivation of liberty. The philosophy of the juvenile criminal justice system shifts from retributive justice, rehabilitation to restorative justice which emphasizes efforts to restore the situation, pays attention to the interests of victims and perpetrators, opens space for perpetrators and victims to meet with the aim that there is an opportunity for the perpetrator to express regret to the victim and at the same time show his responsibility. opportunities for victims to express their feelings, reduce feelings of hostility, restore balance in society. There is a lack of understanding of just and civilized humanitarian values ​​in the community environment, so that the application of Pancasila values ​​​​is an obligation for Indonesian citizens as a guideline for their lives. This study discusses the implementation of just and civilized humanitarian values ​​​​in various professions in Jayapura City. By referring to previous literature reviews, this study aims to explore how these values ​​​​are internalized in daily practice in various sectors, including education, health, and government. Through qualitative methods, this study collected data from in-depth interviews and participant observations. The results show that despite the challenges, many professionals in Jayapura are committed to implementing humanitarian values ​​​​in their work, which contributes to the development of a more civilized society.

Professional crime can occur in the health sector, including among veterinarians. This professional crime is in the form of malpractice. Malpractice is the failure to use skills and knowledge that are common or fulfill the rules in their actions as a medical profession according to standards in the same environment. If it's true that a veterinarian has committed malpractice, can he be penalized? With the normative juridical method, it is answered that veterinarians who commit malpractice can be subject to legal sanctions in accordance with the Civil Code. There are elements that must be met to determine that an event is malpractice.

This study aims to analyze the effect of work ability and work attitude on employee performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bima Regency. The sampling technique used is the sampling technique used in the study using Non Probability Sampling with the number of samples used, namely 38 ASN employees. The methods used in this study are validity, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, t-test and f-test. The partial test results reveal that the work attitude variable has a positive and significant effect on work performance. simultaneously (simultaneously) have a significant effect on work performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bima Regency.
